Burger 3/5. French fries..well as shown in the picture, you can tell they were old. They were cold when I got them, obviously have been escorting and was way too salty.

Went in today to get some breakfast since Starbucks was out of food again and Karen greeted me with a smile. She took my order and was very pleasant. She unlocked the door to the restroom so I could wash my hands. The biscuits came out fresh and hot. She thanked me and told me to have a nice day. The food was good but the service was great.

    Famous star with cheese.

Just went to Carls Jr on Geer rd. It was about 2:30 pm (12/19/22). Nobody there and jalapeño peppers were cold. And for the first time ever I saw my famous star burger pattie taken from a warmer container. Needless to say it was cold and then she threw on a piece of cheese that never melted. I always go to Carls because it's usually cooked right then. What has become of this place?

The new Prime Rib & Cheddar cheese on the angus thick burger is the new go to ! I'm very hesitant on trying new things but they were not wrong about this one, the angus patty is juicy with every bite you take unlike most places where the patty seems to be dry , they did very well on keeping all the juices into the patty and then with the prime rib to top it off gives you that extra juicy flavor with cheese sauce on it made it into one of the best if not the best burger I have tried ever. Never thought I'd buy ribs on a burger from a fast food joint but they did not let me down ! 10/10! Definitely coming back for lunch tomorrow. Highly recommend

Slowest service of all fast food in Turlock. Make sure you always check your Togo orders because they have about a 60% success rate.

After five minutes a waitress came over and asked if out drink orders had been taken. We replied yes. She returns five minutes later and sees our drinks haven't arrived, so she takes our drink order and immediately brings them to our table, apologizing profusely for something she had no control over. Still wondering what happened with our original drink order? We placed our food order (including appetizers) and waited.....and waited....and waited.....Luckily we weren't on any type of time constraint. Appetizers finally arrive about 25 minutes after we placed our order. Main dishes arrive shortly after and now we have a whole table of food to consume all at once! Their food continues to be above average. However, the non-IPA beer selection continues to be sub par, plus I refuse to pay $8 (or more) for beer on tap. Our waitress was excellent, but she was stretched thin trying to serve too many tables. Her excellent service and quality food are the only reasons I'll even consider coming back. The wait time for our food was unacceptable. For some reason it was extremely loud in the restaurant, something I didn't remember noticing on our last visit.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted right away and promptly seated (I had a reservation, but honestly didn't need one around 8:30pm--there were several tables open). For drinks, I ordered the 1915 Elder Fashioned ($20) and my wife had the Peaches and Dreams ($20). Both cocktails were perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. We started with the Argentine empanadas served with bone marrow and chimichurri--two good-sized empanadas for $24. Great flavor and a solid way to kick things off. For my entrée, I ordered the hanger steak cooked medium--it came out perfect. It was served with Roth Fries, which might honestly be the best garlic fries I've had in a long time. Fresh garlic, Parmesan, parsley... just done right. The steak was topped with chimichurri and came with two dipping sauces--everything worked. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Street Noodles with grilled prawns ($36), and she loved it. Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a standout experience. Our waitress, Janet, was amazing--super attentive and helpful. Whenever I asked about dishes I saw coming out, she was more than happy to explain them. We'll definitely be back.

Came to Jams @ 209 as a simple low-key birthday dinner for the SO. Our meal was good, but something…read moreregarding the bill irked me and left a bad taste in my mouth. Located off Geer and Tuolomne, Jams @ 209 is a cute little sports bar that also serves an extensive menu including wings, burgers, pizza, and tacos. Every wall (and even right outside the establishment) is lined with TVs all playing different sports and music videos with a huge focus on 80's music (perfect for the Gen X-ers who seem to frequent here). Upon entering, we seated ourselves at a corner booth and a few minutes later did a nice lady provide us with menus. The SO had ran to the restroom and the nice lady asked me at the table if we wanted to order drinks. She upsold a rum and coke (the SO's favorite) not because she had asked the SO on his way to the restroom like I had thought, but because they have a happy hour special on them and a few other drinks. What a coincidence! The special was $5 for certain drinks between 2-7PM. The nice lady also tried upselling me to get a drink for myself. I feel like after saying no the first time, she shouldn't have pushed with an "are you sure?" two times after. We ended up ordering: Onion rings - great fry and crisp batter. One of the reasons I chose to come here. Mac and Smash burger with side salad - uses Kraft mac-n-cheese type noodles that were a little bland. But with everything put together (pepper jack, fried onion strings, and chipotle sauce), the burger was delicious. SO was impressed with the side salad lol It wasn't a basic garden-type, but more spinach, cucumber, cheese, croutons, etc. PB&J Protein Power burger with sidewinder fries - double patty made this reaaaal meaty. There was a subtle pb&j flavor which was nice, but wish it had more. Sidewinder fries were like the jojo's version of curly fries - thick and potato-y. All portions were big and I thought proportional to the price (esp in this economy). What soured our meal was when we received the bill. There were two line items for +$0.75 for cheddar cheese. I spoke with our nice lady server and she said that it was because we got cheese on our burgers... *question marks??* 1. The item description for both our burgers already include cheese 2. We didn't ask to sub any type of, or add more cheese 3. If we were going to be charged for cheese, we weren't prompted about it beforehand. We didn't get the charges taken off until after these 3 statements were made. I get it, $1.50 isn't much but it's the principle of sneaking in $1-2 for something we didn't ask for. It makes me think they do this often at the expense of patrons under the influence. Just a warning for future customers, double check your bill!!

Tables always have leftover crumb and a sticky residue, which tells me they aren't being cleaned down properly. Ice cream Flavors: pretty standard. Nothing amazing. The names lead to you to believe the flavors will be good, but it's just decent. We like coming for the Sunday specials, where you can spin the wheel for a discount on a sundae. Other than that we frequent another ice cream parlor in town. Service: It's predominantly teens that work here. They are a bit awkward and don't greet you or ask if you're ready to order. Which is fine. I'm not expecting 5 star service at an establishment like this. However, it gets awkward since they simply just stare at you the whole time.
