This review is strictly for their panko fish sandwich that is seasonal. I didn't even know they offered this, but I went down a rabbit hole of fast food fish sandwiches and Wendy's came up. My favorite fish sandwich is of course from McDonald's but that's due to the consistent look and taste and familiarity. Wendy's fish sandwich blows McDonald's fillet o fish out of the water however because Wendy's fish sandwich is seasonal extra points goes towards McDonald's for always being there for me when I crave it. The fish sandwich at Wendy's was obviously made fresh because I don't think it gets ordered as often as the other menu items. So it came out crispy, but not oily, hot, juicy, and super tasty. It's bigger than the fillet fish at McDonald's, but the tartar sauce taste the most similar. Arby's tartar sauce way too mayo-y and gloopy and way too sweet. The pickles add a nice coolness and crunch and the bun is perfect for the heft of fish that comes with the sandwich. I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich so much and wish that it was on the menu permanently. Fries were meh as usual - my opinion and the chicken nugget, my usual go to at Wendy's, tasted like it usually does. I would go to Wendy's more often if the fish was on the menu! And the closest Wendy's to me has closed down so I'll have to drive close to 45 minutes! Please consider it! Service was nice and polite. Store looked clean. read more

I work nearby and get off at various hours. Every time I've ever been to this location I have received nothing but prompt and courteous service. Food always comes out correct as well. Food, 4 out of 5. One suggestion is to steam the bun, they seem stale. Cute gut that works in the back is always a plus too. read more

As much as I love a tasty, correctly made Wendy's burger, I have rarely had a good experience at any of their locations. What once stood out as a step above in terms of fast food is now, sadly, one of the worst chains I come across, and this location is a shining example. We were on a road trip and in desperate need of a quick meal. The interior was closed and the line for the drive-thru long, which gave me time to soak in the sad exterior (void of any care or greenery) that would have given me the impression the place was closed if there weren't other customers already there. When we did get our order, we were given cold fries and my wife got the complete wrong burger, which meant we had to get back in the drive-thru line and repeat a process which ended up replacing almost all the food we were given in the first place. The one bright spot of this experience was the apologetic manager (don't know his name but he had a ponytail) who helped us our second time through. We had lunch at this Wendy's today while passing through Turlock for work and to say that our experience was great would be an understatement. All of the staff working at this location was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our meal was great. This place reminded me what fast food is supposed to be, before my cup was full of my drink, our food was ready on a tray and I could not believe it. While we were sitting there eating our meal, the manager or owner came out to each table and asked each table if they were satisfied with their food which truly was extraordinary in my opinion. We arrived at 9:30 and the dine in closes at 10. We were told to please order to take home because they were closing the dine in. I asked the manager if this is usual of them and he said yes. Manager was a short white man with long hair. Upon arrival the two women working where standing there with their hand on their hips and they came off very annoyed when we walked in. This review specifically is for Tristan at the drive through window who is always so nice and treats everyone with respect and is also a little animated and funny at the drive through speaker and window. It took going there a few different times and experiencing him to realize, I need to leave a review for Wendy's because this guy is really out here being kind to everyone in a way that goes above and beyond normal customer service anywhere, let alone a Wendy's. I've been blessed with the opportunity to experience world class customer service and Tristan is giving Wendy's customers the same attitude and level of service and I really hope Wendy's recognizes him for it. The car next to me arrived 10mins after I had parked and they were given my food and they gave back some burgers that they didn't want(they opened them too). A long time passes by and still nothing, not even an explanation of the wait. I went inside and still no acknowledgement by the staff or the guy that was waiting before me. Just bought dinner for my family and I am giving this place the worst review I can. These were the worst burgers I can remember eating in my 57 years of life. How do you screw up a burger from a pre prepped menu. Overloaded with dressings, cold, and absolutely the worst tasting burgers ever. So bad my trash can threw them back at me. We went in about 30 mins before closing and the employees were very nice (in other places they rush people or roll their eyes). One employee went out of his way to take ketchup to our table instead of just pointing out where it was. The manager stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed. I want to totally compliment the team in Turlock on Monte vista. I was in there picking up some lunch today, and the people in front of me ordered. The manager was working very fast to get the order out, and a woman went up to the counter shouting "excuse me, excuse me, who's food is this???? You have hot food on the counter getting cold!!" The manager politely tells the lady, I'm putting the food out now for the order that was just made. The man, who ordered the food, walks up, and the manager had him test a fry to see if it was still warm. If not, he would replace it. Then man said it was fine, and took his food. The manager, then Turns to the lady and asks, " how May I help you?" And helped her, without any mention of her prior actions. I'm writing this review because of how awesome the staff was when I came in. I don't come often but I went through the drive through tonight and waited about 5 minutes and the guy who helped me continued to apologize for the long wait. I've definitely waited a lot longer in drive through so to me it was no big deal. They did make my burger wrong because I ordered no cheese and it still ended up with cheese (like it does everywhere I go so I always check.) I've worked in fast food so I know things happen and just walked inside to get it remade. The lady at the front counter had my order remade and then 4 different people continued to apologize to me over and over about how sorry they were. Normally fast food places roll their eyes remake it and send you on your way. But I really felt like they cared and genuinely felt bad they had messed up. Wendy's used to be my goto as far as fast food burgers go. A couple years ago when they changed thier fries I kind of drifted elsewhere for fast food. While I wouldn't want it on a regular basis, I've got to admit the Baconator is decent burger if your in a hurry. They don't use the paper thin bacon a lot of chains use.
