That store was special because of 'that stuff'. I thought this woman's attitude was poor. If she was the owner then shame on her for treating customers so rudely. I bought two bushes and spent $72.40. I was told both bushes needed full sun. Both bushes were wilted and half dead within two weeks after planting even with daily watering. A month after purchase one bush is now totally dead. I called the store to see if they guarantee their plants and was told a flat out no. The bush didn't even last a month! I will never go to that store again. Bad customer service and bad plants. If you cannot treat customers with respect and guarantee your product then you do not deserve my business. I guess the old saying buyer beware refers to The Landscape Connection.

I purchased a tree from Ack Ack that was installed in late May. Within one week the leaves began to…read moreturn brown and fall from the tree. I reported this to Ack Ack and after a review I was told the tree looked fine, this after most of the leaves had fallen. An Illinois office of Agriculture saw the leaves and determined it was apple scab and I received a diseased tree. I was told nothing would be done and to wait until next year.It would probably recover if I sprayed it several times. Again I was told that the tree looked fine. I would caution any buyer to avoid rhis vendor. If the tree is healthy all is okay, but if you have a problem, they do not respond to help or replace diseased items. I can only give Ack Ack one star. Buyer beware.

In years past, we payed half down and half on delivery. But after the change in ownership, they insisted that special orders require full payment; so we payed. They told us it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. After 8 weeks, I called and inquired and they said it should be close to that delivery date. Their previous orders with that company have been close to 8 weeks, but they would check into it. I called at 10 weeks, still nothing but they promised to check. No one got back to me. I called again after 12 weeks and again they promised to check; but this time someone actually checked. What she discoved is that Village Green never placed by order until June 9th!! The only thing they said is we apologize.

He scheduled an estimate. After we decided to get the work done, he gave us work time frames. He listened while I explained what I liked and gave suggestions. When his crew arrived, they were very hardworking and cleaned up at the end of the day. Jay allowed us to choose materials and colors. He made a suggestion for the stairway that I liked. We went to solid stone. That caused us to go over budget, but it was a good choice for us. Once or twice I had a concern; he addressed the concern with his foreman, and I was pleased. Myer's Landscaping is very professional and sticks with the job to completion (barring bad weather, of course). I would highly recommend them if you want a quality job done.
