I would have preferred a stand alone shower rather than a shower in the bath as I have a bad back making access stressful and scary. although the water pressure was fantastic, best ever experienced! Amy in the restaurant and bar was great. Even though the restaurant was really busy, we were served really quickly she was also very helpful and friendly. Also, Gordon in the bar made an excellent Passion Martini cocktail. The breakfast was great, really good selection, we've never had crumpets for breakfast at a hotel before. Our evening meals were excellent, tasty and the plates were hot, so no food cooling rapidly... all good value for money. All in all a good experience, when staying in the UK, we will only use Premiere Inn In future.

The property is set back off the main road and features a free car park for guests. This location doesn't seem to participate in the 29gbp/night campaign -- my rates ranged from 57-62gbp/night during my stay. They do take their 'good night stay' guarantee seriously and will comp you for a night if you encounter any problems during your stay. The room is equipped with basic creature comforts -- a comfortable bed, a 13" color TV with Freeview digital cable, a desk. However, travellers should bring a own travel alarm and/or your mobile phone, as the rooms have neither a clock radio nor a telephone to receive a wake up call. The Premier Inn in Lowestoft isn't intended to be a destination in an of itself -- but, all things considered, it's an inexpensive and clean hotel to spend a few nights while in town on business or exploring the area.

The ensuite bathroom was small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. The room also had a well-stocked fridge with drinks and snacks, coffee & tea-making facilities and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. They serve good hearty breakfasts in a pleasant dining room, and it's all maintained by hospitable and friendly - but not overbearing - hosts. I'd recommend Beaumont House without hesitation.

The breakfast was nice and there were a few good options on the menu. The hotel is clad in wood and history. We were adjacent to "the Harry Potter room", which was what we called this tucked away, sort of hidden reception haall that was stunning. The location is a block or two from city center (excellent yet quiet), and the service was very prompt. No complaints at all other than it was a bit expensive for the value, but hey - it was vacation and I would return tomorrow if I could!
