The best! Carly gave me my first lash lift, and she's the best. I don't live anywhere near Athens, but if I did, I'd have regular standing appointments with her! The lift was awesome- I got the exact look I was wanting and it lasted for 2 months plus. I've since been to two places where I live, and neither of them compare in quality of services or durability! Carly was great to explain how to care for the lashes following the service and even gave me a few tools to help with the process. She's got a cozy space that's clean and well maintained. There is not better place to get your lashes done in Athens than with Carly. She is incredibly well trained and has been doing lashes for over three years. It took me so long coming from California to find someone to do my lash extensions here but I'm so incredibly glad I found Carly. IF YOU'RE SICK WITH COVID, DON'T MISS YOUR APPT! KEEP LOOKING, DON'T BOOK HERE! My initial experience with this company was amazing. I had my eyebrows Ombre Microbladed by Emily and paid $400 (plus a substantial tip, of course) for my initial appt. I went ahead and paid the additional $75 deposit for my 6-8 week touch-up appt before I left the salon. Unfortunately, the night before my appt for my touch-up I tested positive for strep and Covid. So I reached out to Emily to reschedule my appt- that I was sooo super looking forward to- out of respect for Emily and the company seeing as she would be sitting 2 inches from my face for several hours straight and I thought that was the right thing to do. Fast forward to tonight, two days before my touch-up which was rescheduled for this Thursday 4/21, and I'm just NOW informed that I will have to pay the full $150 for my touch-up appt (not the remaining $75 that I truly owe) and have completely LOST my $75 deposit I'd already paid towards this appt. I explained to Emily had I known I was going to lose $75 I would have selfishly just came to my original appt while being sick with both Covid and strep throat but I was merely trying to be respectful and "do the right thing." I am the last person in the world to leave reviews like this but I am extremely disappointed and upset with the way Sonder Aesthetica and Emily have approached this situation. "Because the company policy states you must cancel or reschedule 24 hrs in advance or you lose your deposit".. So, the take-away here is, they would prefer you go ahead and show up to your appt extremely sick and risk not only themselves but their other clients as well getting sick rather than make an exception over uncontrollable circumstances. If I could go back in time, I would've never mentioned being sick and just went anyway. Because let's be realistic here- the touch-up appt is truly the most rewarding one bc that's the one where your pigment actually holds and you get to enjoy the huge financial investment you've made for many years after that. But not me, all because of $75 that Sonder Aesthetica would rather pocket and lose a lifelong client over. I had planned to have additional services here after this as well, including lip pigment.. another $400+ service. Now that I know the values of these people and their true priorities within their company, I regret choosing them and trusting them with something that took me a very long time to save up for as a treat to myself, finally. Please consider the other amazing permanent makeup artists and companies in the Athens area before investing your money into a place like this who would rather lose a client over $75 who care more about themselves than they could ever care about you and your well-being!
