I went to get a quick manicure with regular polish. It ended up taking almost 2 hours and I'm going to have to redo it at home. I left the salon with sns/acetone/cotton stuck to my fingers (the guy who did my nails told me it should come off after I wash my hands a few times). Every single one of my nails is still visibly jagged and several of them were cut crookedly. I also asked for an oval shape and got square. The guy filed my nails so aggressively that it was painful. The manicure was basically just cutting and filing my nails and applying polish. For $20, I would have expected at least some cuticle oil and lotion but I got none of that. It felt very rushed and like I was an inconvenience for being there. I get being busy, but there was no organization and they kept seating customers without telling them to expect a long wait. I have been here before and they did a good job. However, I got my nails done last night for $47. I asked for tips and regular pain, then was told to wait 10 minutes for my nails to dry. I did not touch my nails for 30 minutes because I was waiting on a friend. Then later that night, every nail was messed up. Be sure to ask what the price of something is before you get it done otherwise they'll just pluck a number out of thin air and charge you more and more each time. Get the same thing done here, gel nails and acrylics, yet somehow the price goes up each time? Today when I went, after I paid and had my receipt, the lady up front said "oh wait I forgot $5" and rang up a random $5 charge and kept saying she forgot to add it and made me pay it??? And I wasn't happy with the color (I wanted a French manicure and instead of a nude color as the base the guy used a very obvious PINK) and so I asked for Just an all solid color, and was charged $28 for a 5 minute job yet when the same thing happened last week to my friend she was only charged $15. We both will never be returning and letting everyone know to not go here! (I've also once had a nail tech make my fingers BLEED in multiple spots from filing and didn't put anything on it to stop the bleeding or even act like anything was wrong until I pulled my hand away. I asked for a pedicure and it took almost 2 hours. I do appreciate them taking their time, if they weren't rude about it. I asked for a gel French tip (which is what I had when I came in here) and she tried to make me get a red color and when I told her I wanted exactly what I had she acted like it was an inconvenience. The girl working the front desk was incredibly unprofessional. Running around the salon, yelling across the salon, and generally unkempt in her personal appearance. When my friend and I checked in we were not instructed to check in separately. When it came time to pay, the receptionist proceeded to correct me when I said my friend and I would not be paying together. She condescendingly informed me that next time we would need to check in individually because it would be easier for her. I was quick to inform her that we were given no instruction when we checked in. I also watched her scold an older woman for mistaking which chair she should sit in. The receptionsit proceeded to say over and over "I just assumed you'd sit in the other seat." So much so that the older woman offered to get up from her pedicure chair. This girl is a a horrible representative of the establishment and I will be hesitant to return due to this customer service experience. My nail techs were great, but it was a very slow experience! Went here instead of my usual place-- lesson learned. Wanted a simple french manicure. The lady came back with light blue and was about to start painting when I caught her and asked her politely to switch to white. These are the WORST nails I have ever seen, yall. The lines are wobbly, and instead of the white tapering on the sides, there are these blunt edges that look like a 5 year old did it. They charged me 20 dollars more than what the service was listed as on the menu, and I spoke to the manager (which I have NEVER done before) about how bad they had turned out and how I was on a time crunch with these nails-- she only took $10 off. I'm going to have to go get them done somewhere else, and on a college budget that's a little rough. Save your time and money, these guys are rip offs. read more

I went for the first time and showed the nail tech a picture of a very specific type of French manicure. I told him that I also wanted to add tips to make it longer and he said that would be fine. As he did my nails, I noticed that they weren't looking the way the ones in the picture looked. I kept asking him to make adjustments to get it to look correct, but he waited until he was done to tell me that it isn't possible to get the type of manicure style I requested with tips. His exact words were "next time you come in, just do your natural nails if you want what you showed me in the picture." I was upset that he waited until he was finished to tell me that he basically couldn't do what was in the picture. I spent $43 and was offered no refund despite my dissatisfaction. The manicure was also poorly done with lots of bubbles in the gel, and discoloration on the white part. I will not be going back. I recommend LV nails which is only about a 2 minute drive from Bali. read more
