Warning: Run far away. This man does not do what his website states and is seemingly dishonest.
If I could rate zero stars, I would. I guarantee that this review will probably get a response stating that I'm being unreasonable but this is what happened to me and if I can help anyone else see what could potentially happen to them, I'll write the truth.
I chose Carma Sutra to do an interior detailing because there were 45 5-star reviews. I'm not sure how this happened, but I was visiting and wanted the best. I originally had an appointment at 10 am on 11/16 but moved it to 1 pm, which I could do on the website. I received an alert that my appointment was now at 1:30 pm. Rob texted me at 1:44, stating that he would be there in 35 minutes. I honestly did not see the text that he arrived because I was in a meeting but fully expected a call or knock on the door since he knows where I am. I should have just let it be when he left, but I called him to ask where he was and what happened, and after telling me that he would return asked me what I needed. I explained that my puppy had an accident before I went on a trip. He then stated it would be $75 an hour because of that. I said that was fine and went back in to attend another meeting. I was unaware of when he returned, but when I stepped outside to check if he was there, my car was open; he then asked me to take out some things from my car. I did as much as I could before my next meeting, and when I was done for the day, I had to run for an errand. He stopped me and told me that he was done. There was a bag with the rest of my things that I could not pick up prior. I was in a rush and explained that. I still closed up with him even though it did not seem like he was done or even ready for me. He stated that he was charging me for 3.25 hours, which didn't seem correct, but I just asked how to pay as I was in a rush. He said he takes cash app, and so I sent him 253.51 (which included tax). It didn't sit right with me, but I was in a rush, and I couldn't do a thorough inspection in the dark. The following day, this is what I found. I've never had a detail where there's still dirt and grime on hard surfaces or even inside. There was a film inside my windows of dirt and soil under the mats where there apparently was no vacuuming done. I felt that for what I paid, the work was not complete.
After second opinions, I decided to ask for at least a partial refund to get the rest of my car detailed once I got home. I did receive a call from Rob, who informed me that he was part owner of Carma Sutra. Since there is a word limit on google reviews, you can read all of it on the Carma Sutra Facebook page. However, I did attach the text messages on my Google review, and it's clear that this man is not a professional. I say that he is seemingly deceitful because when I went on his website via my account, the invoice stated 211.91. After dividing by $75, that proved to be 2.83 hours. I could not understand why all of this was happening or why it was so hard to get my refund as I had valid points. He can keep all of my money as he has refused any refund. I warn you before going to him. Look at the pictures of the end result and the text messages and decide if he's truly someone that you'd have work on your car. read more
