Eventually, someone there admitted to me that it was being laundered and not dry cleaned. This is very sad to see, and I know it's something that other dry cleaners do. I was shocked and disappointed to see it happen here. It's a shame because even though they assured me that going forward it would be done right, I can't go there. Trust has been compromised and I can't support a business that engages in these kinds of scams, then lies to cover it up. Now i can't walk to my dry cleaner, but at least I'll hopefully get what I'm asking for (and paying for).

I can't say that about all the cleaners in Manhasset. They also have free starch. and sometimes little free candies out. I have been testing out all the different places in town, and this place is still my go-to cleaners. I'm here at least every week to drop off, or pick up. I will continue my mission of trying out all the cleaners nearby, but so far, this place is the best. There is easy parking nearby, behind Raindew, and across from Youngs'. You can sometimes find a meter with money left on it if your feeling stingy... Which is what I often am feeling lately. ; )
