Everyone hates going to the dentist, but the vibe here is so welcoming, and the staff is so absurdly nice and good at their jobs, it makes an unpleasant visit as pleasant as possible. I've been going for years and there has never been one experience that wasn't top notch. Dr. Fine is personable, nice and conversational, and always checks up on you on a personal level every time you come in. The dental hygienists are efficient and kind. Vicki is fantastic and makes the time fly by. I cannot recommend this place enough. I sincerely can't imagine there is a better dental office in all of LA.

I had high hopes because they have you fill out forms in advance where you can explain past dental trauma if you've had it. (I have.) This led me to believe that information would be taken into consideration. I loved the hygienist, and the office manager is great, too. Dr Fine came in and and started remarking about my teeth one by one as she examined them, and when it was all said & done she wanted to start with deep plane scaling and cleaning in 2 major sessions, and then basically make over most of my mouth with crowns and implants, as if my mouth is/was a complete disaster! One concern I had was a single dark fine vertical line I had developed on of each of my 2 front teeth, (possibly a superficial crack?) and she only offered veneers as a solution, but then said there was no way she would do them until I did a full course with Invisalign. I spent 6+ years of my youth in full upper and lower braces, double headgear, and after the bands, double retainers. I even had 4 extractions to accommodate the correction. My teeth are quite nice. It did not take long to realize this was not my dentist! I have since found a dentist who is amazing, has her own practice in Encino, is on the more conservative side, but can & will do anything you need. She's very skilled. She does not upsell. She said my mouth looks great, and whatever I'm doing, to keep it up. She also did bonding on my front teeth, which was easy, painless, affordable & looks beautiful! The lines are gone and the work looks so natural! She also takes my dental insurance, which Dr Fine does not.

I am going to start my review with my recent visit that I had with Nancy on 11/24/25. She is the Dental Hygienist for check up, cleaning, and X-ray. Nancy is as sweet as cherry pie. Always kind, prompt, punctual, helpful and friendly. She takes her time to do her work and knows what she is doing. Dr. Vartan is ONE OF A KIND! He has this demeanor about him that is extremely contagious in the most electrifying and magnetic way. I mean this in a very good way. He is sharp, keen, kind, professional, sweet, helpful, welcoming... with a nice smile, has a light spirit and a fast hand. These are just half of the qualities that I need and want to mention. There is so much that you can write about this WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING and his profession. His work is undeniably unbelievable. He KNOWS HIS JOB VERY WELL!!!! He is super knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable from the time you sit/lay down on the exam chair until it's time to leave. He always checks on you to see if you have any discomfort or pain while my mouth is wide open:-)) he also has a very nice sense of humor. Let me get back to the staff. Overall, there are 6 people in the office including the dentist. They all work as team players with great morals, respect, integrity and treat each of their patients the way they need to be treated. Maggie and Zepure work the front and the back of the office and do HECK of a GREAT JOB! Thank you ladies:-)) Katherine with a nice, sweet smile, does X-rays and helps out when needed. Eddie is Dr Vartan's right hand. He is also friendly, & nice. Sometimes there may be a little wait, but they clear the traffic so fast, that you don't even know if you were stuck on the 405 South?, 10 East?, or 101 South? They do take most insurances, cash payments, credit cards, and I am not sure about anything else, since my insurance covers for my visits. Their expertise include: Cosmetics, general dentistry, and orthodontics. They have few parking spots behind the office and a clean restroom to use with not one, but two air fresheners. Pretty decor/pictures on the walls, in the exam rooms, & restroom. Overall, the office is SUPER CLEAN & equipment sanitized! If you need a GREAT DENTIST, no need to look elsewhere, visit this office and you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! Thank you everyone at Glenoaks Dental Care.

This tooth had already gone through two root canals, and another dentist recommended replacing the crown. Instead, Dr. Dino resolved the infection with an antibiotic gum injection, followed by dental hygiene care two weeks later. Now it's May, and my tooth feels healthy and fresh again. No more odor, no more infection, and he saved my crown. The hygienist, Kimberly. Her excellent care truly enhanced the results of Dr. Dino's treatment. Two words immediately come to mind: thorough and intelligent.. She paid close attention to every detail and worked intelligently with the sensitive teeth, made a huge difference in the healing process. I've been treated by both Dr. Dino and Dr. Angie, and they're both fantastic. My hygienist, Maral, somehow makes what is usually a painstaking and annoying cleaning process feel almost therapeutic. What I appreciate most is that they never push unnecessary treatments. They take the time to sit with you, listen to your concerns, and clearly explain any procedures so you feel comfortable and informed.

Excellent Staff, but Disappointing Dental Work…read more This review is difficult to write because the support staff and dental hygienists at this office were truly wonderful--professional, kind, and highly skilled. They made the initial visits a very pleasant experience, and I cannot fault them in any way. However, the core reason for visiting a dental office is the quality of the dental work, and unfortunately, this is where my experience with the dentist fell dramatically short. I received multiple crowns from the dentist here, and the outcome has been distressing. Since the procedure, I've experienced significant and constant sensitivity to hot, cold, and pressure. This level of pain and discomfort is not a normal or expected side effect and has severely impacted my quality of life. The full extent of the issue became clear when one of the crowns failed and came off. I sought treatment from a different dentist, whose reaction upon examining the preparation of my tooth was one of genuine surprise. I was informed that the underlying tooth structure had been ground down excessively low and that the sides were overly tapered. To quote my new dentist, "No wonder the crown came off." This careless preparation means that the problem is not isolated. I am now facing an immediate three-hour procedure to repair and replace the failed crown, and it's highly likely I will need to undergo similar, lengthy, and expensive corrective procedures for the other crowns placed by this office. The lack of precision in the original work has led directly to a future of avoidable pain, sensitivity, and significant expense to have the job redone correctly. While the people running the front and cleaning your teeth are lovely, the fundamental dental care--specifically, the crown work--was terrible. I genuinely cannot recommend this dental practice for any procedure involving restorative work. Please consider this a strong caution before entrusting your long-term dental health to this office. The 2 stars are purely for the support staff.
