I am extremely disappointed with this clinic. From the very beginning, I encountered disrespectful and mocking behavior from the staff. After getting my aligners, an attachment fell off, and the clinic refused to replace it, even though it was part of the procedure. I realized that I did not feel safe with such unprofessional staff and decided to cancel my treatment and request a refund. However, even part of the money was not returned, although I canceled the treatment at the very early stage. Additionally, the clinic cannot provide their legal name or contact details for official procedures. I have already filed a lawsuit, but the sheriff could not serve the doctor -- at the reception, they claimed the doctor is on sick leave until the scheduled court date. However, when I asked a friend to make an appointment, the doctor was available and seeing patients, which clearly shows deceit. This is an unprofessional and dishonest clinic. Be careful to avoid facing the same problems. I am still pursuing the refund that is rightfully mine. read more

My filling fell out and I decided to give this dental office a chance. My first visit was longer than I had expected and I thought they were able to do the procedure right away, but instead they used a wax and filled the hole with it, told me to not floss, and to come back another time. My second visit was this morning. I came in 10 minutes before 9am, as scheduled. I waited inside the waiting room area for about 20 minutes until I decided to cancel. Why? First of all, I was waiting in the waiting room, I could hear the doctor discussing the steps of my procedure to her colleagues. During this time, 3 other patients had stepped in to the office and were called in to the back right away. I became really nervous; I found out that the main doctor, Doctor Marine, wasn't the one who will be doing the procedure. It's someone else. I got scared. I felt that I was an "experiment" -- in which I had informed them from the very beginning that I had a bad experience years ago at a different dentist where they operated on the wrong tooth. Right when they called me in, I expressed to them how scared and nervous I was and that I would like to cancel. Importantly, it wasn't going to be Dr. Marine who will be doing the procedure. They called Dr. Marine to come and "talk" to me -- and I asked her straight dead in her eyes, "will you be the one doing this procedure?" Dr. Marine answered, "My colleagues and I will take care of you." That's not a yes answer. She did not made me feel comfortable, at all. It was all $$ that I could see in her eyes and aura. That's not an answer. I'm not an experiment. Dr. Marine proceeded to charge me $50 for a cancellation fee. You be the judge and tell me whether this place is ethical or not. read more

This has been my favorite dentist office that I've been too. I am very sad that I will have to switch insurance and dentist offices later this year. Kindness & wonderful guest service is really shown here. I am always greeted by name when I arrive and feel like they know me. Whenever I am waiting they always offer me a drink which is very much appreciated. I cannot believe that this is the first dentist office that I have ever seen blankets at. I almost always freeze when I'm in these offices. The only somewhat negative experience that I've had was in September the woman who did my cleaning noticed a small cavity and suggested they do the filling on the spot so I wouldn't have to come back another day since I live far away. I was told it was so small I wouldn't need a shot to numb it. Well, it was deeper than anticipated so I was in a lot of pain and cried. So make sure you insist on numbing if any last minute but "small" cavity appears. All in all my experience has been so good which is why I give them 5 stars. read more

I have been going to this dentist for a few years which is why this isn't just a 1 star review. I've had friendly interactions with the main dentist and staff. After their most recent remodel, this is the photo on the bathroom door. It's flipped because this is visible from the inside, because the door to the bathroom is frosted and transparent enough to let light and shadows through, which just adds another layer to the incredibly weird choice of this sign. If you can't tell, it's a bathroom lady with a bathroom man climbing on a wall next to her to peer down at her. Like, basically he's staring at a woman in the bathroom without her knowledge. I'm honestly baffled. This is such a tasteless, disgusting sign that indicates a complete lack of basic awareness from whoever put it up. I asked the staff about it and they said "some people think it's funny" and basically shrugged even though I was clearly pretty upset by it. It's been up for at least a few months because I showed it to a friend who has also been here and she confirmed it was there at her last appointment. I'm not the type to post negative reviews, but this is such a gross, ridiculous, bad decision on the part of a professional medical office. It makes me deeply question their values and taste. And If I were choosing a dentists office, I would not choose this one based on this alone. I do not recommend this place. I came here because I woke up with a cold sore yesterday and my usual dental office is closed on Mondays. Some dental offices have a diode laser that helps the recovery process of a cold sore. Since my usual place was closed, I read that this place offers the same treatment. I made an appointment the same day which was great. The lady who I spoke to even let me come an hour early. That was very kind of her. She also told me it'll take 30 minutes. 15 minutes to sign all the confirmation papers and 15 minutes for the treatment. Anyways I got to the office and I waited 35 minutes to be taken in. I didn't mind the wait. When they finally took me to the room, there was an issue with one of their devices and I had to switch rooms. I didn't mind switching rooms either. The dental assistant wiped my lips with some solution. Instead of dabbing only the cold sore with the solution, she wiped my lips and cold sore simultaneously. This is a big no no. A cold sore can easily spread from one side of the lip to the other. I didn't say anything. Atlas the treatment began! I laid back and within 12 seconds it was over. I looked over to the dentist and asked him if this was enough time. He reassured me it was. I've done this laser plenty of times at my other dental clinic. The minimum amount the laser should be used is 2 minutes...not 12 seconds. I even read about it online. I left feeling duped and taken advantage of. Not only did this do nothing for my cold sore, I paid $150 for a 12 second scam. Even the other place I go to doesn't cost this ridiculous amount. However, I was desperate to get it treated and I was thankful that a dental clinic who provided this treatment was open. I recommend to stay away from this place and look for another dental office that offers the same treatment. Response to Dr. Marine's comment: What an unfortunate way of responding to a patient. Dr. Peter left a voicemail yesterday and I was planning to call back today. After your response, there's no reason to. 1)The front desk lady asked me where I found Pacific Dental Care. I responded saying Yelp. Naturally, why wouldn't I ask if there's some offers for a discount? The lady said you offered Yelp discounts 2 years ago. Either way good job on shaming patients who "ask" about potential discounts. Kudos to you! Not everyone has the salary of a dentist. 2) I took the liberty to call both manufacturers (Biolase and Kavo) and they broke down the recommended treatment times. a) The recommended time for the treatment of cold sores using a Biolase Diode Laser is 2-3 minutes. Depending on the size of the cold sore, you can use it for up to 5 minutes. b) The recommended time for the treatment of cold sores using a Kavo Diode laser is 30 seconds. Depending on the severity of the sore, you can use it up to two increments. That is one minute. The surface level of the lesion REALLY determines the amount of time needed. The cold sore I have on my lip is severe. It takes up the left bottom half of my lip. Obviously, you are not trained nor is your staff on these two lasers. You are a doctor...how could you believe there isn't a recommended length of time to treat a lesion? I really hope the information I provided helps future patients. If you plan to charge $150 for a 12-second laser, you are not only deceiving your patients, but more importantly, you're not helping them. You also heavily contradicted yourself. First, you wrote that "neither brand recommends a specific length of time" and then in the same paragraph you wrote, "Your treatment actually went beyond manufacturer recommendation of several passes". I implore you, as the business owner/dentist, to brush up on your training. 3) You do not do these treatments on a daily basis for the past 20 years. The Biolase diode laser came out in 2017 and the Kavo laser came out in 2009. 4) Laser Canker Sore treatment is definitely not instantaneous. Nonetheless, if used correctly, it can really help the healing process. Sadly, your office didn't provide the correct care and your response sheds light on the staffs' lack of training. read more

If you are looking for an Orthodontist to do your veneers, Dr.Mariné is the dentist you are looking for! I have always been insecure with my teeth and my gummy smile. I was looking to laser my gums and 4 front veneers. The process in getting my veneers was seamless thanks to Dr.Mariné and her wonderful staff. For my consultation she was very thorough and really listened to me and the vision I had for my new smile. I was very happy and surprised with the reasonable prices. One of the things that people with veneers never talk about, is the 2 weeks of having to wear temporaries before getting your final set of veneers. I was very worried, that I was going to have fake looking teeth for 2 weeks. But Dr.Mariné made them look so natural, I was already showing off my smile when it was just my temporaries I had in! I owe my new found confidence to Dr. Mariné and her wonderful staff. Best Doctors, amazing Staff and they have the best technology; equipment and tools for patient care. Dr Marine made my smile better with Orthodontic treatment. I didn't realize my bite was off until I saw the before and after pictures. She is definitely as knowledgeable and experienced as can be, as well as determined to perform to perfection. You can tell by her professionalism and knowledge. She doesn't cut corners and gives you the best treatment based on your needs for long term care and benefits. Dr Youssef did my fillings recently and he was gentle and informative with my treatment. He used special equipment to help with keeping my mouth open and relaxed during the whole treatment, which also had a protective rubber piece to keep my tongue out of harms way. Never knew this stuff existed, plus no drooling with the consistent suction it provides the whole time. It made the whole experience comfortable, without feeling like I'm going to drool all over myself. My deep cleaning with Marianna a few weeks ago was painless because of how patient and gentle she is with her control of the cleaning/scrapping tools. I've hesitated going in for a cleaning for the last few years because of the pain and discomfort that is usually involved. As a result I needed a more ínstense cleaning, but with her skill and numbing used I barely felt anything. The most comfortable cleaning ever! I will definitely be coming back more regularly without hesitation. Also, going to mention they have very welcoming staff and a modern looking office. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Marine for the past 15 years. My daughter just finished her braces and we are very happy with the result. Dr. Marine has a sharp eye for esthetics. She is a perfectionist that notices every detail for improvement. I love her new technology where she scans teeth for braces and retainers. A very late post --I came to Dr. M 2 years ago to get veneers. I saw multiple posts of her veneer work so I thought it would be worth traveling an hour plus to get them done with her since she seemed quite experienced. Her and her staff were very friendly, but I absolutely hated my veneers after wearing them for 2 months. I felt more insecure with my teeth after than how they were before. They looked like bulky chiclets that were too white, which many people noticed and questioned if I got work done. I wanted them to protrude more out, and that wasn't achievable in her opinion because the teeth are limited to how much can protrude. I understand that the color and shape selection was done by both me and the doctor, but it would've been nice if she gave more of an honest/beneficial suggestions instead of agreeing to everything because I was unknowledgeable. After 1 year, 2 of my veneers popped off so I went to a doctor in my area to get them cemented back on. I saved up and got all my veneers replaced.. and I am so pleased with the new ones. The new office was able to cast me my dream smile that not only looked natural, but also achieved every little detail I was looking for. They made suggestions that were in my best interest, and were able to contour and shape my teeth to match the overall aesthetics. I wish I could give 0 star.. I have never given any reviews till now.. it's my first I'm only doing this so others are aware of how Dr Marine Mardirosian runs her practice . I'm extremely unsatisfied.. paid top top dollar .. all upfront before she did anything . 1- they record every conversation w/ o any consent 2- write false information on your file.. they claim you are late or no show and charge w/ o your consent all fees 3-I had paid for 20 veneers ( 10 top 10 under) and 1 crown .. she only did 19 veneers and no crown .and never gave the money back which was all paid before she started any treatment, she refused to refund me.. and false fully wrote notes in my file to keep all the money .. making up stories that I was late and canceled appointments 4-5 veneers came off.. most of them broke in less then 8 months.. they never answer any emergency calls .. my front tooth came off while eating salad before big fashion show.. had to go through whole weekend w/o front tooth Not to mention all the discomfort, pain and embarrassment I went through .. 5- they make you sign bunch of stuff as you go in .. not giving you a chance to read what you are signing, nor giving you any copies , on their iPad 6- had to go back 10 times for her to fix my 5 broken veneers.. .. that's 10 extra time I had to leave work early .. endure 10 pain shots.. all because of her negligence By far- the worst experience and more so -most bitter dr and staff I have ever came across to read more

Dr. Martirosyan is the best. I have been to many dentists in Los Angeles area but never seen a dr so perfect and caring like her. The most important thing for her is to save a tooth even though a little of it might be left. Her cosmetic portfolio is awesome and very professional. Great location and staff.
