Okay, so no one really likes to go to the dentist. When I was seated and they started doing x-rays, I felt like I was having a mammogram done on my teeth with the awkward positions that I had to bite down on the instruments. I literally said to myself this is why I don't like coming to the dentist. But it did get better! This staff is so very friendly and accommodating. The dentist is very professional, very friendly and very personable. Even when I mentioned that I felt like I had certain procedures done before, the dentist stated that if I had that information to provide then it would alleviate some of the other steps that I would have to take that he had mentioned. Now that's something that doesn't happen often. The front staff is so very pleasant and so friendly and helpful it just made this whole experience well Worth it. Got in the office at 10am for ex ray and consultation. He said come back at 2 pm same day moler tooth extraction. Leo took the time and explained step by step the process. I have been with Dr. Aghajanian for years, ever since he opened his office in Glendale. I've had several procedures done over the years, cleanings, serious as well as cosmetic ones. One day, I'd noticed a sharp edge on an upper molar and thought I'd just needed it filed down. It turns out I'd chipped off a back edge of the tooth and the whole filling had to come out and replaced. We opted for gold as it is strong as there is a lot of pressure on molars. We did a temporary first then yesterday, he completed my new gold inlay on an upper molar and it's perfect, a work of art! The bite is flawless, I can't tell that anything has been done. You can't help but think of the incredible education and dedication he had to have to be able to do so many different types of procedures so well, the equipment he's learned to use with such precision (..oh...Precision Dental...haha!). Truer words never spoken. Dr. Aghajanian takes meticulous care and gets all the details just right. He keeps you informed of everything he's doing and you can ask as many questions as you like. Switched dentists to Precision Dental and I am so happy I did. Called to make an appointment and the receptionist was kind, patient, and informative. She took my insurance and had them bill me an estimate so there were no surprises. Went in for x-rays and a cleaning. The office is super clean and the dentist was great. The dentist told me what is needed, and explored options with me and the best route without forcing or pushing anything. The dental hygienist was gentle and did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Where do I start. Leo is just a good guy, I have had my fair share of dentists in my life. I've been working on my teeth for a while by him, and it's coming together. He is so meticulous and thorough with what he does.. Every time he makes sure everything is perfect, tripple checks everything, and he is so clean with his work. He does not rush through your repair. I transitioned to Dr. Aghajanian about 4 years ago due to some pretty traumatic experiences with previous dentists on the west side so I came to this office with a lot of baggage. I had suspicions that my previous dental work was not quality work and that I needed someone trustworthy and straightforward, this was Dr. Aghajanian. From my very first consult 4 years ago to my most recent major procedure (two front root canals with crowns) he has done some extensive work and has always put my thoughts and questions first. The detail in which he provides his assessments is both thorough and honest and he always makes it a point to hear your concerns and makes any adjustments to ensure that you are comfortable and happy with your experience. The exact same work ethic and empathy happens at the front with Edith who is one of the most genuine people you will meet. She worked tirelessly to get all of my procedures approved and fought tooth and nail with insurance companies to make sure my costs were as low as possible and never hesitates to fit me in or work around my work schedule. Additionally the hygienist Vahe has a great balance of both old and new school practices that leaves you feeling content with every cleaning, he anticipates problematic areas and addresses concerns as thoroughly as Dr. Aghajanian does, which is a rarity in most dental offices. Can you believe that it has been three years since I first walked through the doors of Dr. Aghajanian's dental practice?! I decided to update my review and provide a, hopefully, more comprehensive perspective than my previous one was. The office is clean & features top notch equipment. They make sure that everything is hygienic, well-organized while still evoking coziness. They provide free bottles of water when you come in but I wish, purely out of environmental concern, that they would provide paper cups instead. The staff is the best epitome of professionalism, all around warm and pleasant to interact with. Love Edith! The dental services itself are superb! Starting over with doctors is always hard - dentists are a different level. Letting someone inside your mouth is difficult decision, I'm grateful Yelp didn't fail me when it came to finding an amazing dentist. Thanks Leo for a great appointment! I had not gone to the dentist in two years, to be honest, I'm quite fearful of them and since I finished school and moved - it was easy to procrastinate finding a new one. They did the standard x-rays and I didn't have any cavities yay! But my gums were inflamed and sensitive so the cleaning was hurting me a lot, they noticed me in pain so they asked me if I was ok with anesthesia so they could focus on the cleaning, of course I said yes. My teeth had never felt better! They were very beautiful, and even though they went deep my mouth didn't feel sensitive after the anesthesia wore of. I immediately booked my appoint right there and then for the next visit. N o excuses to go that long without going to the dentist again :). read more

A week into my relocation to SoCal, I had an implant's crown break on me and I came on here to find a reliable dentist to hopefully fix up my tooth without the agonizing pain of having to get my implant redone. I picked Precision Dental solely on the basis of their five-star rating as I was new in the area. The date of appointment came. I was being extra observant to see why this place has such a high rating. I soon came to realize the reason was because - in addition to staff's professionalism and friendlinesses- Dr Aghajanian was genuinely caring about his patient and the prospects of the end results meticulously measuring and remeasuring, taking pauses every step of the way to think about possible enhancement as it would apply to the particular treatment he was doing. He not only treated my tooth without the need to redo the entire implant, but also made corrections on the new crown so that it would offset the miss-aligned implant that was placed by my previous periodontist. Like many people, I absolutely dread having to go to the dentist, but when I changed insurance providers, I figured it was time to finally go in. I am so beyond happy that I found Dr. Aghajanian and his wonderful staff. On my first visit, Edit, the wonderful lady who was manning the desk, greeted me very warmly and walked me through what my visit would consist of. I was promptly taken in back and met Dr. Leo, who was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and affable. He went into further detail about the procedure and answered all my questions about dental hygiene, as well as the few I had about cosmetic dental work. I'm writing this review today as it was my 6-month check-in after my initial trip and my visit was just as pleasant, if not more pleasant than my first trip. Once again, Edit was beyond friendly, professional, and kind. For this visit, I got to sit with Vahe, who was equally as capable and friendly as everyone else I had interacted with at Precision Dental. He explained all the Ins and Outs of what he was doing, as he was doing it, and was frequently asking me about my comfort level throughout. Long story short, the amazing staff at Precision Dental create such a easy, comfortable experience that makes me want to come in for dental visits far more often than is necessary. After 9 months I feel very confident recommending Dr. Leo. It starts up front with Edith who runs a very accommodating office. Scheduling is easy and I've never once waited more than a couple minutes before being brought back (6-7 visits). Dr. Leo is patient, thorough, gentle and easy to talk to. I've even fallen asleep during a root canal. X-rays were a bit uncomfortable though. I've also had two teeth cleanings and she is great - pleasantly direct and seems very thorough. I haven't had any problems with this office and will be recommending them to my friends as well as here. Couldn't ask for more out of a dentist. read more

Dr. Leo and his team are amazing! I fractured my two front teeth and Dr. Leo worked an absolute miracle for me. He recommended root canals over implants, which saved me a bundle, despite implants probably being an easier procedure for him. Update: Dr. Aghanjanian called me, personally apologized for my experience, and explained the extenuating circumstances behind my visit. Based on what he's told me, I believe what I experienced was due largely to the office being severely short staffed because of COVID. Because I expect that the office atmosphere will turn around shortly, I've changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars. That said, I'm still planning on looking for a new dentist in order to get a fresh start somewhere else. Original review: I probably won't be returning to this office. Dr. Aghajanian's care seems excellent and the dental hygienist's cleaning was thorough and professional, but the assistants who met with me before I saw Dr. Aghajanian and the hygienist were uncommunicative and rude. One of them sat me in the dentist's chair and started messing with my mouth without saying one word of introduction to me or explaining what she was doing. It turned out she was trying to take x-rays and had to put some kind of mouth guard in my mouth in order to do so. When I told her the guard was too big for my mouth and was hurting me when I bit down on it as instructed, she said they didn't have a smaller size and it hurts her too sometimes and she just deals with it. I thought this was a strange response and told her to stop. She left (again without a word) and came back with someone else. This person didn't introduce herself to me either. Instead, she continued to try to force the guard into my mouth. I told her this treatment wasn't acceptable. She said guards like this always hurt and I should just get over it. I told her that I've gone to dentists all my life and have never had an experience like this (in fact, I've always had really nice relationships with my dentists). She left the room without further explanation. Additionally (and this is a very minor point compared to the ones I've just made), the office seems disorganized. There are boxes all over the floor, loose equipment on the counters, and the assistant at the front desk wasn't wearing a mask. All around, I had a disappointing and worrying experience despite the fact that Dr. Aghajanian seems like a great dentist. read more

Everybody at this office is professional and nice. Where I had a problem and won't return is that Dr Leo missed many problems with my teeth that a subsequent dentist found and couldn't believe that the prior dentist didn't inform me of them. Also, Dr Leo's hygienist allegedly did a deep cleaning a month before I went to the next dentist and again the dentist couldn't believe I had a deep cleaning a month earlier. So, I had to pay for another deep cleaning because Dr Leo's hygienist evidently didn't do the job properly. Normally I would be skeptical when one dentist tells me I have only one problem and the next dentist tells me that I have many problems. The reason I believed and trusted the next dentist is because both the dentist and their professor work at the dental school of a very famous university so they have no reason not to tell me the complete truth about the condition of my teeth and gums. I recommend that you find another dentist that finds all your problems so you can get them fixed. read more

I only did two short sessions of about an hour with the custom fitted kit Dr. A. made for me before my teeth looked absolutely brilliant! So now not only are they fixed and healthy, they look terrific. I'm so pleased! Great experience. Polite, kind, and concerned about your welfare. Dr. Leo explains everything which I really like instead of just being poked. He was very concerned about my pain level as he numbed me which most Dentists do not care. Not judgmental about the level of your care to your teeth and makes it a pleasant experience. The best thing I can say about it is I actually looked forward to going because I felt no pain and I came out with better teeth. I think the office will become too busy with his skill set and will be hard to get appointments eventually so I recommend to get in now.
