    Large half-pepperoni & half-cheese pizza
    Alyanna T.

My partner and I ordered one large pizza (half pepperoni & half cheese) - TASTE: 4/5 - nothing crazy special. Both the pepperoni and cheese were good and hit the spot! TEXTURE: 5/5 - enjoyed the thin dough and fluffy crust PRICE: 4/5 - the one large pizza came out to $20 total. Note: cash only! SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - filled us up and still had a couple leftover slices for the next day SERVICE: 4/5 - we called ahead to place our order and waited about 5min when we got there ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - Carmine's is in a homey, residential area with some outdoor covered seating PARKING: 3/5 - didn't see any obvious street parking spots, so we hazard-parked next to Carmine's on Huckins Ave

Great pizza! Happy to find it. Little neighborhood place with an ordering window during the pandemic. Limited menu but if you want pizza, pasta or sandwiches the crowd hints that you've arrived. Nice people too

Half of my large Eggplant Parm Panini for $7.50

This place is great. I got the eggplant parm, and oh my gosh, it was so good! The bread was light, and the eggplant was soft and the sauce tasted very authentic. Along with the cheese it went together perfectly. I also had to get one of the huge, homemade, chocolate chip cookies that was resting on tray nearby. This also did not disappoint. There was a lot on the menu, so I hope for the chance to come back here again. The vibe was great. It had a bright atmosphere, and the workers were friendly. Everything felt very authentic. I'm pretty sure it's the only place to get food in Squantum, but it's not a bad option.

    Ice cream great

In this category of small neighborhood sandwich and pizza shop, this place is THE best. Great specials, too.

I only give 4 stars because of the lack of large variety. But the food is always good, and the staff very friendly.

Matteo tends bar and isn't intrusive. If you want more chit chat, you might not find it here, but the staff is friendly and respectfully distant but approachable. Food was amazing! Cocktails were amazing! I didn't photograph it all due to being so hungry, I forgot! The lemon drop martini is exceptional and none of that silly sugarcoated rim. Naturally delicious with a lemon slice. Meatballs were sensational (no photo). Get them!!! It wasn't crowded at 5, but wait an hour and the place fills up. Make a rez!

There is no reason to make a table wait 10 to 15 minutes to get their drinks when the bar is 50 feet from the table and we can clearly see there are 3-4 people behind the bar not doing anything. The food is not made upon ordering. I tried to order the penne vodka without the bacon in the sauce. I was told that "that's the way it comes." So it was pretty clear that the cook is not making any sauce when you order it. (This isn't a red sauce that takes hours.) The pasta is from a box so the prices that they charge for it are not justified. Overly loud Spanish love ballad music was playing at 5 PM in this nearly empty restaurant. Between that and the gigantic white feather decorations just over my partner's head I would say the vibes were off. My partner had seen this restaurant while walking around and thought it could be a good place to try out. He was pretty upset that the restaurant was so meh and that he took me there for my birthday. Bad music. Bad decor. Bad service. Mediocre food.

The flavors on the steak sub were really nice and Coopers cheddar cheese is a definite flavor boost. This score should be a 4.5 and the only note I have is please scrape down the grill more often. There were some very small pieces of steak that tasted a bit burnt due to not removing the residue from a long day of grilling. It was minor but noticeable. I really think Crush is-so close to a five star steak and cheese. I have not tried the pizza nor the tallow French fries but both are on the list to try.

I was honestly disappointed that I drove all the way to Quincy for it. I ordered the Chicken Caesar sub, and while it was huge and generously portioned, it just wasn't enjoyable because it was so bland. My husband wasn't a fan of his meal either. One thing that stood out was finding chunks of steak in my Chicken Caesar sub. I'm assuming it was from a shared grill, but it wasn't something I expected. Overall, the experience was decent because the restaurant was clean and the staff was pleasant. However, the food was the reason we made the trip, and it simply didn't deliver. If you're craving a Chicken Caesar wrap or sub, your local mom and pop pizza shop will likely make a better one.
