I have gave this place several chances and every time it's a huge disappointment but this time is the last time. I ordered the chicken Gyro wrap. It barely had any sauce on it again and this time I had several pieces of black hair in it. I also requested a Diet Coke and got a regular Coke and they never ever give you napkins, even when you request them. Not to mention when you order online you have no option of being able to request to pay cash. I had some food delivered from this place through Grubhub the other night when I was at work. It was really good. This time I had the chicken wing dinner and I got a side salad and spicy french fries with it as my two sides. I picked ranch dressing for the salad and it was excellent. First time ordering from here for the crew, everyone was satisfied with their lunch combo. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with a side salad. All I was missing was a fork for my salad but overall it was good. Chicken had a few "chewy tendons" but it generally wasn't dry like other places. They are rather on the smaller size (I alway get a large and usually finish it without a problem). The steak and cheese sub are usually delicious, steak is not overcooked but just right Pasta (meatball ziti): 9/10 Excellent pasta, the tomato sauce is excellent, the meatball is flavorful and plenty, the ziti is usually cooked/baked nicely not too soft, not too hard. Generous amounts of cheese and nicely portioned Pizza: 6/10 The toppings and cheese is great but the bread/dough was not . It's not the Brick oven, New York type crust that is the gold standard of pizza, but rather the fluffy cardboard bottom type of pizza. Food is pretty good for most part. 2 stars because after buying food from them for over 3 years at least 2-3 times per month (35$ orders) I called the 1st time to let them know my order was wrong. They not only made it sound like it was my fault but didn't offer to remake the 1 item that was wrong. Said sorry and that as it. Pretty much sorry it's your fault deal with it. I am only speaking for their Meatball ziti with extra cheese (this is my go-to) and the only thing I have ever ate here! so don't quote me for anything else on their menu! Meatball ziti with extra cheese: packed with flavor, stringy mozzarella on top with 2 inches meat ball is to die for! This place is a great example of a small family owned business that have their regular local customers and I am one of them! parking can be tricky at times (street parking, sometimes I use the bank across the street parking lot shhh!) but I only do pick up at night so I never have a problem. read more

The pizza tasted like it does at a skating rink, it was alright. Better than some places, but it gave me the nostalgic feel of being at my brothers hockey games getting rink pizza.. if that even makes sense. It's not completely a bad thing, took me back a few years. It was good, I didn't get it reheated though I don't like reheated pizza, it was OK but I wish it had been a fresh pizza, although it wasn't cold, it was like a semi cold/warm kinda state of pizza. They seem to be under some remodeling and I believe the sign now says they're Murrays Pizza, I should have snapped a picture when I went in there but I was with some other people and I didn't want to look like a complete creep. Solid place. I usually get their garden salad with chicken. Sounds lame, but the grilled chicken on their salad is absolutely outrageous. Asked once and apparently theres some sort of secret spice mix going on or something. the salads are otherwise unassuming but it's a solid choice. Love this place. I just started working right near here about a month ago and this has been my go to for lunch. I usually get the Greek salad with their house made dressing instead of Greek with grilled chicken and it's incredible. The feta and olives and tomatoes (most important part) are phenomenal. But the real star is the grilled chicken, good portion and grilled fresh to order - it is WAY better than your regular town pizza place chicken. Today I decided to be really bold and get steak tips instead of chicken (about $2 more than chicken) BUT HOLY CRAP. Talk about juicy and tender steak. This one is a real winner, and I'll never get a Greek salad anywhere else without steak tips. I like to order pick up on yelp and then walk across the street to pick it up, super easy, super quick and so convenient! The people there are definitely friendly and helpful, especially the new guy that they were training a few weeks ago but they're all great! I had placed an order at 7:27pm for just a large cheese pizza and egg salad sub. The order was confirmed to arrive at 8:12pm. It was 8:45 by the time the delivery driver showed up at my house with a cold pizza. Before that i called the restaurant to confirm they were open still and that my order was on it's way. The person who answered reassured that it should be there any minute. I received a call from the delivery driver as i was about to drive to the restaurant myself at 8:42 asking where i was located and that he couldn't find my address in the GPS at all but was apparently in the area. I didn't expect a call almost 35 mins after the expected delivery time stating he was lost. I expected a call 35 mins before then when the food was still warm. I had high expectations too for this place because i read the good reviews. But i won't be ordering from this place again any time soon unless i go and pick it up myself. read more

Good food, prices were reasonable, service was quick, polite and freindly, and the place was very clean. Can't ask much more than that in a sub shop. The pride and professionalism of the staff is something you generally only find in an owner/family run business which Alpha so obviously is. Food is decent but the service is absolutely terrible. I ordered dinner from them and it took over an hour to receive my food. The delivery driver told me that it probably took 20 minutes for the food to be made. So according to him it took 50+ minutes to drive to the next town. Each time I called to ask about my food I didn't even get an apology. It seems as if the whole staff is rude. I will never order from here again. read more

Shortly after placing my order, the restaurant calls me directly to tell me I couldn't do add ons (which the app said I could) and that it would be additional costs for everything. The pizza is okay, but there are better Braintree options. What bothers me most about this place, however, is the dismissive attitude of those who work there. The older gentleman seems to be bothered by the very presence of customers. When walking home from the Red Line, I've stopped in several times for a slice. In addition to not ever receiving a "you're welcome" for my "thank you," I've received multiple sighs and eye rolls when I've asked for the slice to be reheated. The woman and the younger guy who work there are far nicer. The pictures on the wall lead me to believe that the rude gentleman is in fact the owner. His attitude could use some work. read more

Apparently, they dont know their own prices. They told me on the phone that it would be $4 less than what it actually was when they driver showed up, so then I couldnt tip him.. i felt bad but dont tell your customers a certain amount, then make them walk all the way downstairs and outside with that plus a tip, only to find out the whole total is exactly what you have in your hand. read more

Alpha town used to be my favorite pizza place because I just loved their food until a recent experience with them has lost them all my business. The food is good but any time you have a complaint about anything all they say is "there's nothing I can do about that" no matter who you speak with. I also would not recommend ordering for delivery with them as it regularly takes 45 minutes to an hour and the sides usually arrive cold. If anyone else has a good pizza place to recommend I'm all ears. read more

I've been ordering Greek salads from here the last 13 years and it's the best Greek salad around, even better than Christos. The wife makes her Greek salad fro. Scratch & it's what makes the salad the best!! Fresh ingredients with Olive oils , garlic & fresh herbs. It's not the typical creamy italian dressing. The husband & wife have been working there for 40 years. They are friendly warm individuals. I decided to try the chicken bacon ranch wrap with French fries. It was delicious. In the past I've had their meatball sub with provolone whih I also enjoyed. Definitely will keep going back! read more
