We came here on a whim because we needed a car wash. It did a pretty good job getting all of the dirt off of our car. The self service station lacked heavily in clean towels which I thought was odd for the beginning of the day. Additionally, the guy scanning us in would not take no for an answer on trying to get us to join their membership. Making it very awkward. Otherwise, it was overall a good experience. We chose the option to also get our tires waxed and windows wiped. I d9 recommend this place, just a few sad points. Tge drying and customer service has really tanked in the year we've been going. We get the ultimate wash and tge wash is good just not tge best after. Be prepared to dry own car. Most times my car is about dry before they even attempt to dry it. In my 25 years on this earth, I have never purchased a car wash that didn't come with the option to use the vacuums. I have purchased the cheapest package at almost every car wash and they have included the free use of vacuums. Hell, the Club Car Wash down the road lets you use their vacuums for FREE. WITHOUT A PURCHASE. I spent $16 on the DELUXE PACKAGE and I was denied by the staff to use the vacuums. The entire reason I bought the car wash was to use the vacuums. I urge others not to patronize a chain business that is too cheap to allow patrons to use a self serve station. read more

This place is spotless. The inside waiting area smells so good and is super clean - as are their restrooms. They give out complimentary water while you wait and have seating outside as well with fun music while you wait. The staff doesn't speak much English but they are plentiful and always has a manager onsite - today he was walking around making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to. I paid $40 for the full service wash and clean and when I tell you there isn't a speck of dirt, dust, or fingerprint anywhere in my car I mean it. The FBI couldn't find an evidence of I committed a crime, ha! (For the record, I have not!) Kevin was the sweet guy who took care of me today and I watched him scrub and wipe everything down meticulously, over and over again. He treated it like it was his own car and it was truly appreciated. I gave him a cash tip. They have QR codes to leave a tip but it unfortunately doesn't allow you to designate it to one specific person, it's a pool of tips. It would be nice if they updated that aspect of their business, or allowed you to give shoutouts or even feedback on the tipping site. We had a good experience at Carnation Auto Spa. They power washed my windshield to get the dead bugs off prior to the wash, which is a detail I greatly appreciate since I am quite short and can't really reach the middle of my van's windshield to scrub it myself. They had cloth towels to detail your car yourself or you could upgrade and have them do it. The only thing that was a downside was the "10 minute limit" on the vacuums. A Honda Odyssey with kids... sometimes it takes 10 minutes just to vacuum the middle row, so that limit isn't very realistic for mini van families. read more

This car wash was good before the new ownership. The new owners brought following: 1. Nice facelift to property 2. Full drying service 3. Higher prices 4. Less working equipment 5. Less vacuum power 6. No window cleaning fluid 7. Poor service 8. Cheaper quality drying towels 9. I got the $20 wash, which included bug removal. I had just returned from a road trip, so obviously this was important. Needless to say, I get home and look at the front of my car, yep, lots of bugs still there. Not only that, but dirt was still left as well. WOW! Is all can say. I'm not one to write reviews much especially negative ones but this is unbelievable. So here it is. I went and got a car wash back in December and got a $24 car wash, this morning I was just looking through my CC transactions like I do every so often to make sure nothing out of the norm. To my surprise I have 2 $45 charges, one from January & one pending which looks to me like some kind of membership I DIDN'T sign up for, so apparently the attendant back in December felt the need to sign me up for some type of monthly membership. I'm the type of person that trys to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes that is easier said than done. So...I'm telling myself maybe it was an "accident" or something but who knows. All I know is when I went in back in December I clearly told the attendant I just wanted the single car wash (which was $24) so why I'm being charged a monthly membership escapes me. All I know is someone there screwed up so I will definitely NEVER go back to this car wash again. Now I "get" to figure out how to get these 2 $45 charges off my card. Happy Saturday! Be careful of the fraudulent business. Signed me up for a monthly plan without my authorization. The sales guy started with hey nice car you have, what year is this? Told him thinking hey young kid making small talk. Never asked for a monthly plan, asked for one time wash. Now I know he must have been using that info to sign me up for a plan without permission. Then he tells me I have a month of free washes that will expire in beginning of Feb. Thought okay, maybe its a promotion to try to get people to purchase the monthly plan. Washed car and now beginning of this month have a charge for a monthly plan! This is fraud. Call the store and get hung up on repeatedly so can't talked to a manager. They must hope that people don't look at the accounts regularly and will just take your money. Absolutely disgusting business practice! read more

We use carnation frequently. Maybe once a month. If you go early on a weekday morning or early afternoon service is usually good. On a weekend though, it's too busy & the service and quality are poor. The vacuums typically don't work in all of the bays, the clean towels are all being used, and if you pay to get your car dryer, there's usually not enough employees to do it when you come out of the wash. We were there last weekend. When we came out of the wash, my husband had to towel dry the car (towel drying cones with the $23 wash), but no one was available to do it. I went to grab clean towels and there was only 1. Out vacuum bay had minimal power on only 1 side. (That was the 2nd bay we pulled in to- the first one had no power on either side). Get it together Carnation. We pay a lot to get our car washed & just want service to be consistent every time we come!! read more

Have used this car wash many times in the past and have been happy with the service. Unfortunately I was not able to get my car washed today because they no longer accept cash. There is no way to exit the line at the point you see the small sign at the register stating they are now a cashless car wash. I had to back out all the way and then drive the wrong way to get out. FRAUDULENT PRACTICE!!! My daughter purchased a single car wash ($21) in January. Today (May) she noticed a $40 charge to her account and brought it to my attention. I did a little further digging to find out they had actually been charging her $40 in February, March & April too. My daughter tried calling the business to speak to someone in management and was immediately disconnected. We have now filed a claim with the bank and plan to contact the Better Business Bureau as well as the police. It is clear from previous posts that this is a regular issue with this business.
