Carnation Tree Farm barn

For years I've been buying my Christmas trees at the Yakima Fruit Market in Bothell, but this year we wanted to make it more of an adventure for the kids. So we piled into the car and headed out to cow country. Carnation Tree Farm is right off SR-203 so it's easy to find, and the farm is quite large. They have a huge selection of trees of all the varieties you would expect. The kids had a good time running through the rows and searching for the perfect one. The price was excellent. The tree was $40 and it's 12' high. I paid $70 at Yakima last year for one similar. Carnation Tree Farm will also shake it and bail it for you for an extra $3. There is a gift shop which is warm and has all the usual Christmas knickknacks. Customer service was excellent all the way around. I'm giving it 4 stars because 1) I never give five, and 2) because it's in Carnation. Other than that I have no good reason to knock it down. It was an excellent experience and we'll definately be back next year.

We had a lot of fun cutting down our tree at the Carnation Tree Farm. There was a large selection of trees . Another huge bonus is that the trees are certified salmon safe. This family owned farm was great, everyone was welcoming. We'll be returning next year.

Fir-get about it! The only trees for sale are dead inside or are naked in the middle.

Our favorite Christmas tree farm, our tree lasted much longer than any other farm we've gotten one from.

A PNW Treasure for Families!…read more If you're looking for the perfect family day trip in the Snoqualmie Valley, Remlinger Farms is an absolute must. We had such an incredible time here, and it's easily become one of our favorite local spots. What makes this place special is that it's so much more than just a farm--it's a full-blown experience. Here's why we loved it: The Fun Park: The rides are perfect for younger kids! From the classic kiddie coaster to the charming train ride that loops around the property, there's plenty to keep them entertained for hours. The Animals: The petting zoo was a huge hit. The animals are well-cared for, and it's such a sweet, hands-on way for kids to connect with nature. The Food & Market: You cannot leave without visiting the market. Their famous pies (especially the marionberry!) are legendary for a reason. We also loved the café for a quick, fresh lunch. The Atmosphere: Even when it's busy, the farm has a wonderful, relaxed energy. It's clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the scenery in Carnation is just stunning. Whether you're going for the summer berries, the fall pumpkin patch, or just a weekend outing, Remlinger Farms delivers every time. It's a nostalgic, wholesome, and genuinely fun place to make memories. We'll definitely be back!

It was a short distance to walk anyway, so it was fine. Otherwise, driving around and trying to find parking near the main entrance would have been a hassle since the spaces there were much smaller and too many cars were there anyway. Once we walked inside, there was a market full of snacks - baking flavors, candy Apple, hot chocolate mix, Pumpkins, taffy, trail mix, etc. You can also buy tickets there or scan the pre-paid online QR Code in order to get Stickers to go on in. Just have to walk through the turnstile or however you call it to get to the area with the rides - Ferris wheel, merry go round, a small roller coaster and more, farm animals, restaurant and train. A short walk to each of the different sections of the farm with little photo areas were present as well, along with the arcade, bathrooms, restaurant and snack bars (only open on weekends). The other side of the farm had the U-Pick Pumpkins as you enter/exit the Remlinger Farms while driving on the main road. Anyhow for 2 Adults, 1 baby (less than 2 years old), the admission fees online cost $17.50 plus tax on a weekday. Overall, we had a decent experience as our first time. Rode on a few of the rides, including the train, which was a pretty short round-trip. Took some nice pictures, visited the petting zoo, and the bouncy place with my son. Picked out a couple of Pumpkins on our drive out and called it a day after spending 2 hours there. Would have been better if all of the rides and snack bars were open for the public on the weekdays, too. But we probably wouldn't visit on the weekends since I am sure it's really crowded and parking would be a mess. Plus, the entrance fees would be more expensive.

Definitely more low-key than some of the other bigger operations but so perfect for our family. There were goats, they were pumpkins, and there was a little mini pumpkin maze, which was just there . The vibe was exactly what we needed. We went on a rainy day, but managed to find a two hour window with a little bit of sunshine. Couldn't have been better! They've got all different types of pumpkins that you can either pick yourself or just choose off the shelves. There was also a craft fair with holiday crafts. Oh! And a really nice restroom!! Lots of parking too. My only suggestion might be to have a few places to sit down along the long path to the corn maze. I'm recovering from a back injury and that might've been a nice addition. Highly recommend!

It's early in the season and the pumpkins were fresh on the vine to cut (they provide shears) and all looked in perfect condition. They also have a large variety of carts, wagons and wheelbarrows to borrow and pull into the fields. Prices are vague and not clearly listed; it also didn't help that the staff was confused what to charge me for a white ghost pumpkin I picked from the field. The main barnyard area has a nice aesthetic with a photo op area and tractor kids can sit on. There's also a small goat area too, because you can't go wrong with animals. Other attractions included a corn maze that was a bit further, that we decided to skip. There are small children's areas within the barn including a mini tricycle track, corn pit, hay maze, but they honestly weren't memorable. Overall it's a smaller local pumpkin patch farm for a basic visit, but there's definitely potential to grow.
