If I could give 0 stars I would. Went with my cousins on the 4th of July. Told Christy (the piercer) I had my navel pierced years ago and it didn't heal, I've had several piercings and sometimes s*** happens. She showed me this cute little dainty ring and I'm all for it. We even discussed how it should be fine and aftercare. Fast forward to this morning 7/6 I wake up and the diamond is now embedded in my skin. I call Carnivale at 3:01 PM the person on the phone informs me that the piercer won't be in until 5. I explain the situation to her and she's like you know what can you come in a little early and let me take a look at it. If I can fix it cool if I can't you can wait til the piercer gets her. I get there at 4 and they're busy so it takes 15 minutes for someone to greet me. At 4:15 I'm then informed that the "piercer"' won't be in until 5. That I know but I explain to them that someone told me to come in early. They proceed to say she had a lot of people call about piercings and she tried to call everyone back because she had to leave (family emergency). But Christy will be here at 5. Again I explain the severity of the situation to them and I'm okay with waiting on said piercer to get there. 20 minutes later she comes up to me with the phone in her hand asking if I can come tomorrow! TOMORROW! What part of this jewelry is embedded in my skin don't you get! So clearly I'm pissed at this point and I just leave because I was 2 seconds from going off on everyone. Oh let me add that to when I noticed the jewelry was stuck in my skin I wrote the piercer on Instagram (the page she gave me so I could write her with questions and or concerns). Anyway, I call a shop up the street and explain my situation to which they tell me to come on now. I get there and lay on the chair only for them to inform me that not only did Christy not use a long enough ring to combat any swelling with the new piercing but she also PIERCED MY STOMACH!!!! I went in to get a naval piercing and the girl looked maybe 18. Which isn't a problem, but when she took a look at my naval she said my belly button could not be pierced and that she is refusing to do it. I respectfully listened to her reasoning, but with further research, I realized my naval is perfectly fit for piercing. I do not have an outie. I have an innie. I figured she was just inexperienced and didn't know what she was talking about. I left there and went to another piercer (dragon's den) and the piercer was very knowledgeable and eased my concerns. Matt K did the Tattoo on my leg, and it turned out fantastic! Gave me a very fair price, the session didn't take too long, and was very thorough about explaining the entire process before and after. I'd easily recommend him to anyone, and will be coming back specifically to have him work on future pieces. A+ work!! More so, I had to reschedule with him twice due to being very sick at the time, and he was very patient with me. Furthermore, anytime I had a question, he would answer in full detail to put my mind at ease. All of the negative reviews on here are for piercings, and I obviously have zero experience in that regard. This place was a bummer. Came to get my first, and super small THIN, tattoo. I requested a small heart on my wrist. The artist tried to draw it on freehand and it was terrible. So he designed a better heart. Originally, on paper, the heart looked even. Once the ink was finished in less than a minute, I noticed it was uneven. For this tiny, uneven wrist tattoo, I was charged $50. It's upsetting that the owner screwed up such a small job. Now, every time I look down at my wrist, I just get pissed off. Honestly, I'm incredibly upset with my piercing experience. I went to get my septum done while I was on vacation. When he called me in, he didn't show me any of the sterilized equipment or explain how it was going to work-he just said "lie down", cleaned my nose, and stuck me. Not a good way to pierce someone who is visibly nervous. Not only that, but the piercing was incredibly painful-which a septum is not supposed to be and left me shaking for almost an hour later-and he pierced too low instead of in the "sweet spot". One of the barbells fell off about 4 days later and I had to wait until I got home to have it replaced. The piercer I went to at home then informed me that my piercing was not done correctly and the quality of the first ring I had was not good. The one saving grace is that Jason let my boyfriend in the back with me. If I didn't have him there, I would've tapped out while having that ring wrangled through my septum. read more

Went in last night to get my first tattoo! For starters, the atmosphere was really cool. Everyone there was extremely friendly and definitely knew how to crack some jokes, which is great when you're nervous and you're trying to lighten up some. My tattoo artist was Jessica and she was very understanding about this being my first tattoo, my questions, etc. On top of that, she was really very sweet and very knowledgeable! AWFUL PLACE. Not sure about their tattoos (I didn't like their art too much), but don't go here for your piercings. The guy that greeted us was a little rude and looked bored and didn't want to talk to us. He just said "wait for the piercer" every time we asked something simple. & The man that worked on my cousin was VERY rude and not friendly. He's a big guy with a bAld head. We don't know his name cause he never told us. He looked mad the whole time and was short with us every time we would ask a question. He ignored me when I wanted to ask about a piercing I wanted redone.. When he did the piercing for my cousin, he did the markings without asking her if it looked ok or even communicated with her at all. She never even got to see her piercing at all. He's very meticulous and careful when setting up, double checked the drawing with me and did a great job to make sure I was comfortable during the tattoo. I was stationed at Keesler during the summer. Everyone on base was getting their tattoos done here and of course recommended it so I went to check it out. The place was pretty chill. The artist which I forget his name, was helpful in getting me what I wanted. He threw in some ideas on my tattoo and added some shadow effect on it which I was very satisfied with. Liked it a lot, went back for another tattoo a couple months later. Got my birth year custom made on my right bicep. The artist even suggested and threw in some white around the letters since it was done in red. It made the tattoo POP just like he said it would and he was absolutely right!! It hurt because it went into my armpit but not a big issue. Decent pricing on the first tat, though the second one could've been a bit better. A lot of younger military members come here because it's the closest to Keesler AFB with a few decent artists. They are over priced and the owner, though claiming to be "An Ex-Navy Seal", is constantly bad mouthing & putting down the military and the United States as a whole. Basically not a well run business. I called the day before to make an appointment and the guy said that they didn't really make appointments it was more of a first come first serve scenario. He recommended coming right when the place opens as they get busy. That wasn't a problem for me at all. I got there right when they open and there was one person before me. Some guy, I'm assuming a assistant, ask me what I wanted to get done and said cool and left. Thirty minutes pass and the tattoo artists walk in and so do seven other people. Out of the five or six tattoo artist, one was doing the first person who came in and then one comes into the waiting area, looks around, and randomly picks a person to tattoo. This person walked in the door 5 minutes prior. I started getting annoyed because at this point it had been 45 minutes and other people were being taken to get their tattoo even though I was the second one in the door. I finally asked some guy what was up and he told me I should of made an appointment. At that point I left. I went to Jack & Dianes in Gulfport and immediately saw a difference. Got greeted and took back within first five minutes even though they were slammed. read more

I don't know about the tattoos here but me and two of my friends came in for piercings. First my friend got her nose pierced and said she thought the experience was more painful than it should've been. I started to second guess my decision of my piercing (always go with your gut). My other friend got an industrial and he didn't even give her the chance to look at the marking points to see if she had changed her mind or was comfortable with the placement. He wasn't concerned for her feelings at all. Still not going with my gut I got my tragus pierced. Once again he didn't let me see placement or make sure I was okay with it. The pain was excruciating and my pain tolerance is pretty high. Blood was dropping into the bottom of my ear and he didn't even offer something to clean it off with (thanks a lot). Whatever we all still got what we wanted and it was a sterile environment. We paid and walked out to my car. Then we realized something.. He told us NOTHING about the piercings we just received nothing about healing time, what to don for after care, and what not to do. We went back in later and it became apparent it had slipped his mind. I was very disappointed with the service and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Not going back. Sorry! UPDATE!!!!!!!! Something felt off to me the next day about my tragus but I tried to ignore it thinking I was just paranoid. The next day something still just wasn't right. So I went to another shop and asked them to take it out for me and put in a barbell instead of the stud because I felt there wasn't enough room for it to swell. Well I was right we got back there and he told me it was going to be hard to get out to bare with him and I was wondering why. He proceeded to tell me this was a piece of jewelry you use to pierce noses with. Noses. So yes it was sinking into my ear and it could've been worse if I would've waited and blown it off as nothing. The tattoos here may be great from some of the reviews I read but don't go for piercings. The stud was a bitch to get out my ear and definitely caused a lot more pain. All and all would never go back to this place and don't intend to. read more

Got my belly button pierced here in 2014 and I had to remove it because it was placed to shallow and began to reject. I went to visit another tattoo place in my home town to get it removed and they said it was terribly placed and there was nothing i could have done to save it. So now I have a big scar there.
