Shop is clean and professional. The artist was very pleasant and helpful. I felt the price was fair for the piece that I wanted. My only complaint is that the artist took some liberties with the work that I believe detracts from the centerpiece of the art. Comparing the picture and the final product, I wasn't completely satisfied with the final result. There are "additional" shadings and additions that aren't even in the original art piece and this "interpretation" detracts from the impact of the art. read more

Parking can be hit or miss, since parking is a bit small, but just go during non-peak times and you get your tattoo in and out quickly... However, depends how complicated your tattoo that is and design... The smaller, the quicker... The more complicated, well, the more sessions you'll have to get your tattoo completed. Namm sayinn.. Overall, they also do piercings! Like literally any place where you want, they're qualified for. Just sign the dotted line first and be of age to get pierced... Other than that, they do sell shirts, sweaters... And do offer candies & complimentary water/coffee if you're getting serviced. The whole place is so LIT! And will definitely make you feel welcome... Moreover, if you dont want the selection of tattoo graphics that they offer, you can bring your own tattoo sketch design, and they can tattoo that on you as well... Depending on the artist! And if one artist can't do it, there are plenty of tattoo artist available within the vicinity any time of the day/night that can tattoo the design that you brought a sketch of. I got 2 tattoos a sun on my neck and a rose with my daughter's name in cursive on my wrist. The person that did my tattoo was extremely heavy handed. My rose tattoo took at least 4 weeks to heal and when it did heal the red wasn't red anymore it's like the black ink used faded into the red making it you guessed it black. Super disappointing because now I have to find someone to fix it or cover it up. My sun tattoo is really nice which is the saving grace of my experience. read more

My tattoo was just the butterfly with stripes in the beginning. I asked Jack about filling in the void with space elements and butterflies to make it a solid half-sleeve. He passed me off to Curtis literally tried to literally cover up the stripes and part of the butterfly. So my arm is hideous in my opinion. Way too much black and it looks like I tried to cover something up. I've lived with this for years and I'm finally trying to find someone to help me try to bring out the brighter elements to break up some of the black. read more

This place was amazing. My partner and I went in on a Tuesday afternoon with no appointment. She wanted to get an addition to one of her tattoo's and I wanted a small one on my wrist. A man named Scotty did our tattoo's and he was amazing. He worked very fast but also did an amazing job. Both of our tattoo's looked perfect and we were both done in less than 40 minutes. Scotty was extremely funny and made our experience pleasant. Her addition cost $85 which was a little pricey but mine only cost $40. I went to j&d for my first tattoo. I reviewed the previous comments from other users before I went. The place was clean and customer service was excellent. I made a serious mistake of not using a particular artist and went with a lady named ?Art who was free at the time. A stencil was used to layout the image and the tattoo took 15 minutes to do. The lines were crooked, the shading was uneven and symmetrically it was completely off. It was obvious to me that her skills were extremely poor. She constantly denied that anything was wrong but I have shown the tattoo to many individuals who agree with my assessment. I waited a while for the tattoo to heal and it was worse over time. I was very dissapointed and even considered laser removal. In hindsight the mistake was mine by not specifically asking for a more seasoned artist to do it, but on the other hand her skill set is so poor she should not be allowed to tattoo individuals without more training or oversight. It is extremely hard to fix a bad tattoo and lucky for me I had a great artist revise it and make it out to be better than I had hoped for. read more
