The Director along with the teachers, go above and beyond for all of the children. The love and dedication they demonstrate definitely does not go unnoticed. The design and structure of the space is filled with fun touches, from the little village in the hallway, to the movie theater and the adorable little kitchen area. Everything is always extremely clean and well managed. The Kidsreports app is very comforting. We receive daily updates which include photos, activities and a meal/snack log. This application also allows us to communicate with the teachers and director. Cadence Academy has not only provided a great space for my son to learn and develop new friendships, but has also become such an important addition to our family. We truly love all of the staff, but wanted to personally thank Ms. Jamie, Ms. Kristen, Ms Leonora and Ms. Julie for always taking such good care of our son...you guys hold such a special place in our hearts. There is a record of our children attending Primrose for over 2 years. We communicated our concerns directly with Ms. Vaghani and would never write a review like this if we felt she trying to work with us. The teachers and Mrs. Mims are amazing. Our children learned so much. The curriculum is excellent. However, it appears to be about money for the owners and the teachers are not supported. We witnessed the lack of support first hand from basic maintenance requests taking forever to be addressed and the leadership not supporting the teachers when they asked for help with a student safety situation in class. The office staff was dishonest with us on 2 separate occasions. We loved the teachers and everything that went on in the classrooms, but the leadership made it a poor experience. Be very careful when considering Primrose Carol Stream. Update 6/25/23 The Primrose Leadership asked us to take down this review. We will acknowledge a successful resolution to our concerns. After several emails to the owner, posting this review, and contacting corporate, we received a call from Mrs. Vaghani and were able to resolve everything. We are thankful to have the issues addressed and appreciate the closure. The Leadership Team was reflective and this can be a growing and learning opportunity for benefit of the teachers & children they support.

The center director, Ruth, knows each child and parent by name and takes time out to say good morning, good night, and have little inside jokes with everyone. The assistant director, Richelle, helped bring by shy son out of his shell and helped give him confidence that he sorely needed by providing a warm and supportive environment with the phonics program they offer. The teachers... they are out of this world amazing. Miss Brittany and Miss Stephanie teach my son's preschool class and he adores both of them. Whenever he sees them in the morning, he runs and gives them a hug with the biggest smile on his face. They are patient, understanding, warm, loving, and encouraging to every little one they teach. My son often asks if his teachers can come home with us at the end of the day and misses them during the weekends home. In the pre-k class, Miss Meghan and Miss Julieann are just as wonderful. They always have a smile on their face, a kind word for each child, and are an absolute pleasure to be around. They have done a wonderful job of pulling my son out of his shell and it is heart warming to see how encouraging they are with him, and all his classmates. My son has really grown under the supervision of Miss Meghan and Miss Julieann and he talks everyday about what he learned from his teachers. My only regret is that I didn't find this center sooner. My son is off to kindergarten this fall and I can not thank the West Carol Stream KinderCare for all they have done to prepare him for his next steps into school.

My child is surrounded by a learning environment where he absorbs the knowledge like a little sponge. There is a weekly letter, shape, and topic. Your child learns through play, art, story/line time, repetition and hands on experience. Amazing what they are able to cover in the 2 hour session and astonishing how much the kids retain and are able to share when prompted. Wonderful way to begin your child's schooling experience.

My kids came to this school from a home daycare. I found the Owners to be very helpful and…read morefriendly. In particular, Paul -- always gave my kids high 5s. Director Amanda is excellent and responsive. My son was in the Pre-K room there and my daughter in the 2s and then Preschool Rooms. Megan is/was the Pre-K teacher and I adored her. She was open and up front with the parents. Which is always appreciated. Paulina was my daughter's teacher for the majority of the time she was there and I miss her. She was sunshine. A couple of things I didn't care for: When we'd pick up the kids (at 4:15) my daughter's preschool class was often mixed in with the Pre-K class. And the same when we'd drop them off in the morning. At those times, I kind of felt like they were never doing anything....always running around playing but not doing anything organized. And by running around playing I mean that it came across as complete chaos sometimes. In the end the school did not offer Kindergarten so that is why we pulled my kids out. The school is pretty new, considering the ages of many of the places around here...so I think in time and when there are more kids there, that the kink I mentioned above may work themselves out.

The administration is hands-on, they listen very well and often incorporate feedback from the parents. The academics and faculty are top-notch.
