Alice is a muscle whisperer. She was incredible, and not for $200+ an hour, but more like $70. If you're used to going to high-end bougie places, this is going to feel like theft as it's so affordable. It doesn't have all the amenities, but they do use a full size cover up, the bed is comfortable and the room feels about the same. However, if you've already mastered the art of the affordable Asian foot spa, then just know, she's been there over a decade, and she speak clear English. You can have an actual conversation and explain your pains. It's the best of both world's. NOTE: the area looks rough and the outside of the building seems sketchy. Since moving to the NE part of Nashville, I have been looking for a massage spot to call my own. While walk-in places are great, I enjoy a good appointment and on the day that I was in need, LJY was had availability and the option to book online. It was mid-afternoon on a Friday, so I had the place to myself and the masseur was working alone for majority of our session. I went with the Combination B, which was 60 minute table and 30 minute foot. The massages were great, pressure was spot on and all the trouble areas were handled. My only gripe is that the masseuse had to leave the room and massage on several occasions due to lobby traffic. This took away from being able to fully disconnect and relax for a solid 90 minutes. Overall, I am undecided on my return. I enjoyed, but the mental part of a massage is just as important as the physical for me.
