Went for a trial class for our daughter. Now, I don't know how the studio operates usually, but as a first-timer, we did not enjoy the experience. We walked in and were not greeted (maybe they're not used to new people?) and it seemed to be run by young people (20 year olds). We had to ask them for instructions on what to do because they weren't saying anything. The dancers all seemed to know exactly what to do, so maybe everyone is used to how things go, but we didn't like that there was no lead for first-timers. Kind of seemed like no one cared to see us in, or out. So we left and never came back. There was one TV monitor where you watch each class on a square on the monitor (4-6 squares on one screen) and a small space where you have to fit in with all the other waiting parents and siblings. read more

I don't normally do this but I am extremely upset. My daughter has been part of a dance studio that we once though that they put values first rather than worrying about financial issues. We have parted ways a few months ago. We recently attempted to redeem a scholarship for a dance convention that my daughter earned while representing the Studio. This convention responded by saying that they will need to reach out to Studio in order to release the dancer and honor the scholarship. Unfortunately Studio X declined this scholarship for no giving reason and responded by saying that no other studio that allows their dancers to use scholarships when they part ways when we know that's a lie ! Studio X dance contract does not have anything in their contract or policy that indicates that dancers will not be able to honor their hard earned scholarships even after parting ways with the studio. The fact that they won't release a dancer and wish them the best of luck tells me that the studio values have changed. I want to bring awareness to parents out there by saying that if you are attending any conventions with any studio that you discuss if they will accept them after parting ways or if not then it would be better to sign up as an independent dancer instead. That way your dancer hard earn scholarships should always be honored for future use. read more

Studio X is everything I could ask for and more in a dance studio. The dance teachers are at the top of the industry and extremely caring with the students and the owners are invested in the progress of each of the dancers at the studio. My journey with Ty and Tiff currently at Studiox yoga, began about four and a half years ago. At that time they taught at the same location, but with a different name and owner. I was 55, and had just recently retired with some health issues, ie: recent knee surgery, hip and back issues. I had been active my entire life, from running 10K,'s to weight lifting, cycling, and golf. Having to give up must of those activities I decided to try yoga. I quickly found how helpful yoga was. Over time I gained flexibility and core strength I had not seen in many years. A large part of the success I had I attribute to Tiffany and Ty. The are both very knowledgeable, committed, passionate, caring and provided outstanding classes. I was/am often the only male in the class, but I have always felt welcome. Fast forward to now. Ty And Tiffany recently were presented the opportunity to partner with Studioxdc to provide yoga classes in the morning. I highly recommend to anyone looking for diverse yoga workouts to try Studioxdc yoga. The classes they offer and how they are taught are suitable for all levels of experience. This studio is unfair and unprofessional due to the fact that they are not honoring students HARD EARN SCHOLARSHIPS that were offered to them is heartbreaking. They put in all the work, dedication, time and sweat into earning their scholarships and for the Studio to not honor it is horrible! read more

This studio is amazing! My daughter has been dancing competitively for 6 years and has been at other studios in the area. This is by far the best. Her technique has progressed by leaps and bounds here. The studio is only a few years old but has had enormous success in competition already. They are also very reasonably priced and organized. They don't try to profit off of costumes and stuff like some other studios do. I just can't say enough good things about Studio X Dance Complex. read more

This studio has truly been a blessing for my whole family. My teenage daughter has grown so much in the last month in and 1/2, than I have seen in the last year. she is excited about dance again, feels like she truly belongs and constantly feels challenged by the instructors. My son also goes here and loves it! he has also shown lots of growth in every class. All of the teachers and staff are beyond friendly and approachable if you have any questions or concerns. pricing is extremely affordable and the ambiance of the studio is clean/relaxing. both of my children love it here so much they want to stay and hang out even when they don't have classes. I love how the is a dedicated study area in the back for the children to do homework in between classes.
