Sheree's Pilates, yoga, Yogalates, and barre classes continue to be challenging and effective. I've been her student for over two years now, and the difference in my abs and strength is amazing. That we can study with a professional ballet dancer for the price of a gym membership cannot be overstated, and to be honest, she is the only reason I'm still going to this gym. The turnover in trainers is ridiculous because they do not treat their staff well. I am a professional educator and understand people management, and what I see as an outsider corroborates what different former crew and former trainers have told me. Not one of the original staff from when I started is still there. Also, all the trainers that impressed me as a powerlifter and bodybuilder and gave me effective and challenging workouts are now gone. I don't want to have to keep starting over with a new trainer every few months, so I've canceled my training package. Finally, the turf area is kind of a joke. They still only have up to 40# KBs that I can see. They replaced the sled with this rolling thing that I never see anyone use because it "is easier for a lot of clients." Who goes to the gym to do easy things? I'm giving this review 3 starts because of Sheree Skiles and the fact that the pool is clean and I enjoy using it. I am disappointed to say the least. If you are serious about lifting, and fitness, I'd have to say look elsewhere.

I did have complications with other gym members but that's a lot of places. No such thing as a perfect gym. I will admit that I had issues with specific individuals of staff in the past but they no longer work here thank goodness (also good riddance). While I was gone I was told that the owners decided to take it upon themselves and change the environment of their establishment. Basically "under new management". I was skeptical at first when I came back but after seeing the new environment I have to admit, I think this place has changed for the better. Yes sometimes the equipment breaks but there's still plenty more to accommodate. This is basically a bodybuilding gym so the treadmill issue I have no control over. If you wanna complain about the bathrooms and the coffee shop problem, then that's on you for not going to bathroom when it was free. Plenty of places like Starbucks only have 2 bathrooms too so if you wanna complain about a small, private gym having 2 bathrooms then you're a special kind of stupid/entitled. Aside from everything that's changed here, there aren't really that many big issues anymore. If you want to buy a membership here then I do recommend it. This gym is like no other.

The quality of service was good. The only downfall at this location is parking. This location has gotten more popular and parking can be a pain sometimes.

Every time I've encountered her, she comes across as very rude and unwelcoming. For example, when I said "hi," she simply said "hi" back without even looking at me. Worse, they leave the bars standing upright, which is a clear safety hazard. I brought this to an employee's attention, but he showed no concern--he simply turned around and walked off. Ironically, the same employee was later seen chatting for about 15 minutes with 4-5 friends who were taking up the only seating in the locker room. What really crossed the line was the vaping. Several people were vaping right in the locker room, and instead of addressing it, the employee was laughing and socializing with them like nothing was wrong. For a place meant to promote health, this behavior is completely unacceptable. Planet Fitness should strongly consider adding clear signage reminding no vaping, members not to leave bars upright and not to work out in front of the dumbbell racks--for everyone's safety and convenience.
