We fell in love with the area and specifically with this exceptionally cute and private cabin. So much so that we found out it was for sale and bought it two weeks ago. It has been a great experience adding our personal touch to make it the cabin of our dreams. My wife and daughter and I hope you will love it as much as we have. It is truly a remarkable location and convenient to so many of the wonderful things that this section of the country offers for relaxation and recreation.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Deluxe for a much needed getaway. It was perfect! We would not…read morehesitate to stay again. We were only there for a weekend, so we didn't use the kitchen, dvd player, etc. But, we did use the hot tub! Nights and mornings were in the 50's and breezy (aka cold wind!) and the hot tub was great for both morning and night. The creek running past is calming and drowns out any sounds from town. The convenience of the location with the privacy, make this cabin perfect. As others have commented on their website, the cleanliness was amazing! The hot tub was already hot when we showed up and there was a treat in the fridge, yummy! The drive to Cherokee is easy, and passes by Bearmeats Indian Den, one of the few shops with real hand crafted goods. Be sure to stop by there. The furniture was comfortable. Furniture and décor is typical styling for a rental cabin, but in much better shape than many I have seen. The pictures are true to what is there. I slept so soundly in the bed, I didn't even wake during the rainstorm. The kitchen, although we didn't use it, was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. needed for cooking. Plenty of silverware, plates, cups, and mugs for 2-4 people. Washer and drier were great to have available. We used the dryer and it worked fine. We did not use the grill, but there is one available. There is one flaw, and that is the shower. It is small. My husband is 6' and ~170lbs and it was tight. The shower served its purpose, but if you are larger, consider one of their other cabins. This shower would not deter us from coming again, we absolutely would! I just want to include that so others can pick which cabin is perfect for them. Madeline clearly takes pride in her cabins and will gladly help you pick out the right one. When I called, I had it narrowed down to 2 and she told me more about each. She wanted to make sure we loved it as much as she does.

I did reservation with this company for one of their properties from December 23 to December 30 and…read moreeverything was paid already I even rent a car that cost me $2500 not refundable hi son I have emotional issues and because that we have a support service dog so we ask them if we can bring with us the dog so they say no and that was fine with me I told them I found a place to put the dog and not need to cancel the reservation for the vacation today I got an email from this company that they are canceling the reservations with any explanation why we didn't break any rules or did something wrong now I'm stuck with the rental car that cost me $2500 and I don't know what to do this is not the way to treat people or customers and very highly not recommend on this company

There are poo bags for the better, responsible pet owners and most are so. There are protected swans and geese everywhere, which adds to the beauty. Most of the walkers are friendly. Please clean up after your pets, to keep this gracious area pet friendly!
