I had such an amazing experience in Caroline Nails Spa, as I walked in both Heidi and Jack where enthusiastic to greet me. Feeling welcomed they sat me down right away to do my nails, as they had variety of regular and gel nail polish to choose from. Heidi did such a splendid job, with each stroke of hers my nails became art work. As she took her time explaining the prices and the specifics on how my nails will be. Heidi often made sure I was comfortable, and this is how customer service should be. While Jack was also gentle to make sure my toes can look the best, we frequently had great conversations. I decided to get my first pedicure here, and I opted for the regular pedicure. When I got inside, the place looked nice so I was thinking maybe this wouldn't be so bad. I barely talked to the person who gave me the pedicure (which is good because I get shy talking to people), although he was still very friendly. The pedicure felt really nice, and I thought that maybe this would be my go-to place getting them! Before I left, I noticed I lost my receipt for something. It wasn't even that important, but they still helped me look for it, which showed that these people really do care about their customers! So they were friendly, but when I looked at my toes I noticed they looked rougher than before. I don't know too much about pedicures, so I thought maybe if I just rinsed it out when I got home it would be okay. When I got home, I noticed there was also some leftover white product between my nails. I was really confused, is this really what happens when you get a pedicure? I talked to some people about it, and I'm sorry to say but they told me this pedicure was not good and they advised me not to go back. I told them that maybe it was because I picked the "regular pedicure" but looking at it again, my toenails look worse than how they did beforehand. I was bummed, because I really did love the people here and the massage and scent was amazing! Anyway, my feet did get cleaner, but I don't think it meets the standards of a good pedicure. Guess I'll have to take my money elsewhere... EDIT: Btw, in case if any of you are reading this, my receipt was inside the car. I'm stupid LOL. Thanks for helping me find it though! read more

I recently moved to the area from the Bay Area, and I've been on a search for someone who provides similar work as to what I had been receiving out there for 4+ years. Let me tell you it hasn't been easy. I was waiting to write a review on this place until my second fill. First, Heidi and jack are both fantastic! Heidi did my manicure for the second time, she is quick but efficient and a perfectionist. Not to mention my manicure lasted me almost a month before the gel started to peel. Went there the day before being induced for my pregnancy and she took such great care of me. Really took her time with massaging my hands and legs during the pedicure. My mom and I came in to get pedicures together. We got the Luxury Spa pedicure treatment and it was Amazing!! They did a scrub, a mask, she used lotion and a hot stone treatment with a very long massage and ended it with a hot towel. I went here yesterday without an appointment and expecting a possible wait as a walk in. Surprisingly, there was no one in there except for the owners. I never caught her name, I'm assuming Heidi based on the other reviews, but she greeted me right away and was so friendly. She was very attentive and gentle and kept checking that she wasn't hurting me since I had just taken my old acrylics off and my nails were thin. I had a very relaxing and nice experience. The only thing I didn't realize was if you do coffin shaped,(or anything different than square I'm assuming), it's $40 instead of $25. Probably also because I got gel as well? Which I was fine with, she did an amazing job and I love them! But I must have missed the sign that expanded the prices or something. If I could give Heidi & her husband more than 5 stars I definitely would! Having recently moved to Modesto I tried out a few other nail salons are was just not satisfied. I browsed Yelp! and found Caroline's Nails Spa & after reading the amazing reviews called them up and they were so accommodating and were able to take me in! My last acrylic overlays were super thick and I was worried my natural nails underneath would be ruined. Heidi listened to my concerns and even though the process takes longer, she soaked the old acrylic off so my nails wouldn't be damaged which was amazing!! Towards the end of my manicure we realized time wasn't on our side and with after school pickups quickly approaching I was worried I'd be late but Heidi & her husband both worked together to get my pedicure done which was also done flawlessly & in record time!
