I found Carol when I needed some alterations made to a bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding. The dress was purchased in New Mexico, and I brought it home for alterations before the wedding. I called the local branch of the store it was purchased in, and was treated very rudely by their alterations department! After calling a bunch of different places to try to find a seamstress, and getting more anxious by the minute, I finally called Hermosa Bridal in Snohomish because I'd previously received good service there. They recommended Carol with five stars, and I'm so glad they did! Carol is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and she immediately made me feel at ease about my dress. I had worried that I wouldn't be able to get it altered in time, or that I wouldn't be able to find someone who could do a good job--and Carol completely quelled those fears. She had a professional and friendly demeanor, and as soon as we began talking through the alterations that needed to be done, I could tell she was absolutely comfortable with her work--this really made me feel confident in her abilities! She made thorough notes and took measurements of my dress, and talked to me clearly about what needed to be done. She listened to me to find out exactly what I needed--the dress fit very well in the bust but needed to be taken out in the waist, and she was able to do this perfectly. Not only is Carol's service great, but her prices are so reasonable, and she was able to finish my alterations just in time for my trip and the wedding. I was so pleased that when I picked up my dress (which fit like a glove!) I brought one of my favorite shirts that had ripped at the seam--I thought for sure it was a goner, but Carol stitched it up while I waited. I couldn't believe it! Carol is an absolute gem. I needed some alterations to a formal evening dress which was way too long with yards and yards of overlay. I needed this done rather quickly for a wedding and she got me into her shop within a day and the dress was done in about a week!
