We hadn't skated in years and my sister and I decided to come dust off our skating skills using the excuse of brining the grandkids. It was a fun 2 hours of skating. We certainly weren't as good as we were 40 years ago but managed to have a good time. I am writing this post because I was most impressed with the staff working. I didn't get names but if management wants to figure it out, it was Friday, May 26th, between 2-4. The young man on the rink was attentive, kind, and helping all ages stay safe with a smile on his face. The young girl at check in was polite and welcoming. Those 2 alone were enough to make me want to come back and enjoy some more skating nostalgia. Thanks! read more

Place is ok. Just upset about my food. The inside of my tractor tots cold/ whatever my son ate them anyway. I got nachos- seems hard to mess up nachos but the jalapeño were in a bag and slimy and odd tasting and the cheese was cold. Like cold cold... Asked her to put in microwave- she did. But got it back still cold asked her again to put back in she seemed to have an attitude but whatever. Place is fun the end of the skat rink has a fun play house my son loves it. Just upset about my food experience for the price. I just don't under stand why you have to have a little attitude about microwaving my cheese more lol. But whatever. read more

Food from the vending machines are great, the rentals are awsome. But the songs are awful. The rink is "child freindly" so now they play the same playlist over and over with the same wack ass songs. My son loved the huge jungle gym, he really enjoyed himself and I had to actually crawl in there to get him since he didn't want to get out!

We have been here a few times over the years. Always a lot of fun. Though my son probably wishes they had more video games, it is still enough, along with the new play space, to keep him entertained for hours while the rest of us skate. The tables at the very back have outlets to charge your phone, if you do not plan to skate. We do not usually eat the food, cannot comment about that. But, really, it is a skating rink. The food is not what we go there for. read more

I saw the most ridiculous thing while I was here. A young boy was using one of those walkers with wheels to skate around the rink. A worker, Riley, came up to him and asked him if he had a wrist band. After he told her that he did not have one, she proceeded to take it from him and did not aid him out of the rink. He stood in the corner for about five minutes before he finally decided to use the wall, not being able to skate on his own, to get out. The poor kid looked like he was about to cry. :( read more

My daughter celebrated her 7th birthday at Carousel this past weekend. I was a little apprehensive to book this party when she requested it - as I was concerned that some of her friends would not know how to skate. I was pleased to find that they offer walkers for the kiddos who are still learning. This helped a majority of her friends, but she still had some younger cousins and a few friends that were not comfortable on skates. I asked our party host Ashley if I could buy passes to the play area for those kids and she was extremely helpful. Instead of having me pay extra - she was happy to help me adjust my birthday package. I highly recommend this venue ... it was fun and stress-free! We will certainly be coming back! read more

I LOVED skating at this rink.It's atmosphere and cheery empolyees.But when I decided to meet up with a few friends,well...it was horrible.The price USED to be $4.50 for rental skates and now they raised it a dollar.While we were waiting in line a man came out,put up a sign that said RULES: 1.NO HATS 2.NO GUM 3.NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK 4.ANYONE IN A GROUP LARGER THAN 8 WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE So youre gonna raise prices and make it less fun?!?! Carousel no longer has the skate trainers that were so great for little kids. The manager said they had too many complaints from people wanting skate trainers when they sold out that they did away with them altogether. Seems an absurd approach to me- you are consistently selling out of a product that requires a minimal amount of expense/effort to manufacture and your solution is to nix the product altogether? Was there today and a number of parents were upset. I used to be able to take my two young children skating on my own because the trainers provided them the stability for me to skate next to them but not be literally holding them up the whole time. Now, I can only help one kid at a time and therefore need a second adult to help me. From now on, we will skate elsewhere. read more
