UPDATE: I am about a month or so late on my update with CZR and Lance Behringer. I cannot express my gratitude enough!!! Words are not enough! My case settled a few weeks ago and I feel that I was definitely compensated accordingly. My accident has changed me completely. Money will definitely NOT give me or bring back the things I used to do OR the person that I was before. Long story short I was involved and a pretty bad motorcycle accident and CZ&R really helped me out! I had originally started out with another law office but once they understood the case and potential settlement they basically handed my case over to CZ&R and I'm glad they did. I would highly not recommend this Law group, despite some positive reviews from other reviewer's I've come across online. My personal experience with this law firm has been very unpleasant as in my opinion this law group is very unprofessional. They'll take your case, then after leave you in the dark with what's going on with your case. They fail to return calls and even after you've been awarded your settlement they are hesitant to release it to you. They don't keep you abreast regarding your case, they are never or rarely available to speak with you via phone and they don't return your calls (at least from what I've experienced). This office is very unproffesional and does not communicate with eachother. I have my case here and everytime I call no one is available to take my call. All im waiting for is my settlement check and supposedly my case is now being handled with the lien dept. due to a medical bill, I called MEDICAL myself and they stated that their is NO lien to my name, therefor no money is owed. This firm was brought on to my case and it was assigned to Nick Rowley. From the start everything went well. I was not happy Nick had us come down to have dinner with him because he goes and teaches he goes and cooks dinner for clients so he gets to know them. This is far from true as I myself and others have talked. We traveled over 750 miles to see Nick and spent time with him. We went to his house to meet him for maybe 15 minutes and then he had Steve Glass take us out to dinner. Then he had us go to Las Vegas to get married as he said juries believe people more when there're married and so does the courts. So we went. I was not sure about all this and these trips to LA and then to Las Vegas, where adding up fast and I was told this comes out of your settlement. I was not happy. Nick settled my case for far less than what other attorneys tell me it should have settled for. But he told me we would loose and we had to take the offer. I did not want the offer. There were some shady things that went down during trial that you can read on another website. Then this went to settlement conference and Nick hired his old business partner in a law firm they had before. So this attorney was dis-barred the night before my hearing. No one showed up to the hearing for me. So as you can see this is the legal service you get from this firm. I would be very careful about this law firm before you use them and make sure you are comfortable and bet me they will wine and dine you and then let you down. Yeah, they have these great verdicts, but remember they rarely get that much it settles for far less. So don't be fooled by the verdicts and all the articles they have in their office. Please do your research hard and remember law firms hind there dirt it shows up on page 3 of google and up from there. They have SEO companies hind the real complaints. Just like how Mr. Rowley has been on Bar Suspension for two years. Don't see that on the first page. This is my opinion and others might have had great experience, but mine and others have been horrible, I would beg you do your research. read more

I work for a provider who did business with this law office. I have never seen employees who are so unethical and unprofessional. And management seems to be okay with this. They sit on settlements for six months and then when you ask for payment, they bully you, call you "scum" and "fraud" and threaten to sue you. My case was handed here after the accident guys handled my case and were too incompetent to get a fair settlement or just playing their lawyer games. After nearly a year and a half of dealing with this firm alone, a settlement was reached in the amount of 25k. When i heard the news i was happy/relieved until i found out i was to recieve $700! A slap to the face. The actual person who sustained injuries and was in the accident and they want to award them left over change after all the greedy snakes had got the money. Took me months of calling and emailing and trying to get someone to talk to me. I literally never spoke with the person in charge of my case but was instead handed off to assure me i would recieve a call back which of course never happened. Finally 3 months later i was able to get them to increase my payout to around 2k. Still a mere fraction of the settlement, while i would have like my fair share they threatened that the next step if i didnt agree to a payout would be them taking me to court. I was involved in a motor vehicular accident involving a drunk driver last May 2014. It has been a long four years I thought I couldn't get justice. I was awarded $32,500. But only received $7,000 from CZR. This is an update. Kaiser paid all of my medical bills within a month after my car accident, but I had one radiology charge around $350. CZR, informed me that they covered the bill. I just received a new collection report saying the bill is now in collections and was NEVER paid. They told me they paid it 3 years ago! The only other bill was the ambulance. If that mysteriously appears after they told me they paid it I will post an update. They are dishonest. I felt really dumb after realizing they had all the control of the money and it was difficult just to get the $7,000 from my account. Good luck if you have a case with them. I regret accepting their proposal to take my case. I should have said no, and told my attorney that I would find someone myself. I trusted them, and it really is frustrating. Now I have these bills on my credit report, and I never would have let that happen. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel like people need to know the truth, you might end up owing money to them, or a collection company after you settle. read more

Wow. Worst experience ever. It's been over 3 years since they took on my case and I just got an e-mail from this office misspelling my last name (which is IN my e-mail address) today. I've had a terrible experience from beginning to end and am honestly just glad it's going to be over soon. They switched my case around from so many people that at one point I called the contact person on my case and found out he no longer worked there and no one told me. No one seemed to know the details of my case well, constantly asking me the same questions again and again. The receptionists are often unfriendly and kind of rude. The paralegals and lawyers handling my case were okay, but I never felt like they were very invested in my case especially since I kept getting handed off to different people. Also who is Steve Mazza...does he exist...why is this his law office when I have never spoken to him as a client...??? At least I'll stop getting holiday cards from these people now. read more

Our 10 year old son was hit by a car in November of 2014 and not having any idea who might help us with the medical bills we went online found a firm that although seemed helpful at first, decided to refer us here and things went downhill fairly quickly. The attorney, Steven L. Mazza was difficult to work with from the beginning, not returning phone calls throughout the process and finally sending a letter stating that they had received an offer from the insurance company of the person who hit our son for an amount far less than the even the medical bills. When we asked if there was any written offer we were told that is was only a verbal offer. After some time we decided to accept the offer and still attorney Mazza would not answer our calls. We can relate to another reviewer who writes that Mr. Mazza yells at his clients Finally we received a letter stating that they would not be able to represent us. Well, It seems that they made that decision from the start. We wish they just would have told us that and not wasted a year acting like they were representing us. We would never recommend anyone to work with Mr. Mazza or the secretary Sherry who hung up on us several times when we called after Mr. Mazza failed to return our calls.
