We are quite Displeased: My husband and I first worked with a young lady who was very helpful on styles and prices Unfortunately, when I called to place my order, she was gone Her boss, Mr. Reyes took over. Originally we were told there would be a 10% restocking fee. This was mid February. I called to place my order and gave a 50% deposit on February 28th. Mr Reyes tells me my order for two bedrooms n of approx 350 sq. Feet is being specially made in Georgia Because of drastic changes to our immediate fixed income from retirement funds, I have asked to cancel my order. Mr. Reyes now tells me there is a 30% restocking fee plus freight I assume from Georgia. I hope not round trip Mr Reyes is trying to work out something with Georgia's mill, where he insists they are making this carpet just for me. We have no need to worry about seams, nor do I have 100% confidence a mill would run such a small batch at once. I did suggest that the carpet be kept as stock - our bedrooms are pretty standard in size And combined could accommodate a larger space, maybe a living or family room. Mr Reyes said he could not keep stock on hand. I asked if I could help by talking to his corporate office or the Carpet mill. He told me he was the highest authority in this case, and anyone else would tell me the same. I see there are other Carpet Club locations I wonder if they carry anything in stock Mr Reyes said bye, and hung up on me while I was still making suggestions for a resolution to this predicament I'd be compl amenable to paying 10%, but today is the first time I've heard of 30% plus freight across the country. I'm going to be 100% honest. We were looking for carpet to get installed into our house. It was a Sunday and a lot of places are closed however we seen that this place was open to call to verify and they didn't answer. We decided to just make the drive and it seem to be closed because they're open sign was off and it just seemed very dark. However I went to check and they were open. As soon as I walked in the guy didn't see me too well I asked him if they were open and he said yes so I walked back out to get my husband. As soon as we walked in the man was just very moody. He was very rude and went asking him questions he seemed very annoyed. Instead of feeling like he was trying to be informative it felt like he was trying to make me feel dumb for asking questions when I have no idea about carpet. It's very hard for my husband to feel awkward and I could tell we were just both awkward and we just decided to just ask for a random sample and just leave. Also he quoted us a ridiculous price for what he was offering. Which I one thousand percent Felt like he did on purpose like he didn't want to do work for us so he quoted us a ridiculous price. Which was very odd because another reviewer said they got a very good carpet and what not and they paid about $1500 for 1000+ sq ft Let's just say he quoted me twice that price for 600 sq ft Anyways we found another place we were very happy with. I had my floors done by the Carpet Club, really beautiful wood. That was a few months ago. My floors are so terribly warped it is like walking over bumps. I completely remodel my home and I am so embarrassed about my floors when I have guests. My floor comes with a one-year manufacturer and one year installation warranty. Carpet Club will not honor the warranty stating they did nothing wrong. What's WRONG is your employees installed it incorrectly and did not take the time to do it properly. EVERYONE BEWARE !!! This company only wants your money! They will never stand by there work~ Now what? I am so disgusted. read more

Very dissapointed with the installation of our laminate flooring. We were very happy that we were going to get rid of the carpet and replace it with laminate flooring. We where assured that the process would go smoothly, quality installation and once the job was finished, we would be able to put our furniture back with no need to do anything else. We signed the contract with more than 50% deposit and got the house ready for the installers. To our surprise, only 1 installer was sent to do the work. On the first day, we thought, ok, they only sent this person to take out the carpet and later the other installers will arrive, especially since we were told that it was going to take 2 day's to finish the work to install laminate to 6 rooms plus the halway. The other installers never arrived. It was only that installer that came. It took him more than a month to finish most of the work which was very upsetting because we told the person we signed the contract with that we were changing the carpet because I was going to be using a walker to get around and needed the laminate flooring for safety. When the installer said he was done, my husband told him about the issues we were not happy with, stained floors, chimney area not filled, he left gaps, he put plastic quarter rounds that ripped open during the night, he replaced them and they ripped open again, he bent the metal sliding door metal rail, and didn't fill areas he cut underneath doors. Currently, one of the door borders got unglued, the floor is separating, there's dips on areas in the hallway and rooms, which it's not safe for me. There are so many issues and we are not satisfied with this experience and issues, we did have the person we did the contract with come to see the installers work and he said he was going to send him back to fix the issues, he fixed 2 or 4 and said that that was what he was told to do. My husband called again to talk to the person and also sent him a letter, but sent someone else to replace tge quarter rounds, which he wanted to install the same plastic, old and dirty material. Plus, the installer wanted to charge us extra to paint the baseboards and my husband told him, why was that not told to us when we signed the contract, we were told everything will be ready to move all furniture back, no need to do anything else. Our sofas and other furniture got wet because we put them outside while the installer worked, they got damaged because of the rain and we had to throw them away. Terrible experience and very unsatisfied. The installer began work in September 2022 and flooring separating now, edges getting unglued, feeling dips and floor making cracking sound. Very happy with not only the great customer service from Debi but the installation and quality of the carpet I'm very impressed with. Previously got a quote from Empire during their 50/50/50 sale, but wanted to check out a local place too to compare. Debi came across much less salesperson and more like someone that actually wanted to provide you with what worked best. Not only were we able to update to the spill proof padding, but was directed to a sale to get the premium quality carpet for the medium quality price. Final cost was much less that what Empire was quoting us (which was supposed to be 50% off). Highly recommend! read more

Her expert eye was extremely helpful when choosing the right carpet to go with the multi colored tile that was already in the house. She made suggestions for carpet & padding that would be beneficial to my large family with 3 dogs. She's professional and kind and wants to give the customer not only what they want, but what they need. When it came to installing the carpet.... Daniel was on top of it. We were waiting for escrow to close and unable to give Daniel an exact day/time. I gave him an idea of when it might close and he kept in touch with me! Something has gone wrong. About 2 1/2 years ago, I had a new Mohawk carpet put in throughout the house. I believe it had a 20 year warranty against defects. It was a brown & beige looped carpet that matched the interior of the house quite nicely. Jim mentioned it would last for at least the length of the guarantee without a problem. Additionally, I had the highest grade pad installed to give the carpet good support and long life. Likewise, that was Jim's recommendation. Unfortunately, the loops have started to become undone. The carpet feels hard, as if there was no padding. The loops remain crushed and don't bounce back to normal height. I've tried 3 times to get this matter resolved but nothing has been done. Yes, these efforts were made prior to Covid 19. My next step is to try and resolve this problem with the owner. read more

The service was kind, friendly, and responsive. During the quote process, we got all our questions answered. Joe let us know that they floor we chose would stand up to wear and tear, with two kids and two dogs. Installation was quick and easy. After a year in the house, things went south quickly. All over the kitchen, we have pieces of floor bubbling and peeling. It looks and feels terrible. We did not have flooding of any kind, nor any major spills. Just dropping some ice sometimes, doing dishes, etc. I am so disappointed in what was supposed to a very strong, very ethical company. We are refinancing and will be putting in new floors this summer. Needless to say, we will be going with another company. read more
