Before entering, know cats and dogs are wandering freely if you're scared of either or have an allergy. I enjoyed visiting with both as we love animals, but again, we have no allergic issues. Don't let the stairs deter you from visiting as a ramp is located to the left of the stairs. It is slightly steep but manageable for most. You are entering two floors of gorgeous country, farmhouse, and primitive decor. Every inch of the two floors is staged beautifully. Most of the items sold have wonderful displays of how to use the merchandise. Wonderful ideas, and if you have any questions, just ask for assistance. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and answered all my questions. She allowed us to wander at our pace and not be underfoot. I was only capable of browsing the main floor today, but I do plan on returning to tackle the second floor stairs on May 6th. I love 95% of every display I saw. The merchandise is lovely, good quality, and makes an instant impact on your decor. Regardless of your decor, you'll most likely find something you can add to your home. I'm excited to return this weekend for the Spring Market at Take Root. If you're looking for something to do, stop by the Southside and check out Take Root and Abby's Closet (next door).

When I entered the store I first noticed an adorable little pup sleeping on the counter. I was also told that the cat was hiding behind the counter. I love that! There were several seasonal items to choose from including an adorable Valentines display. This would be a great place to find a gift or something for your home. The store front is located on Madison Ave, but if you turn on Euclid you will find that they have a parking lot in back

I had been wanting to visit for a long time as I'm a huge fan of Good Bones. It's not a far drive, great place to shop and wonderful growth in the area with good choices to eat. If your looking to get out of town I HIGHLY recommend Two Chicks District Co. FUN. HAPPY. GREAT PLACE FOR A SELFIE AND LOTS OF GREAT BUYS!!!

I stopped by toward the end of the year and they had a nice selection of holiday-themed items. The store is of course geared toward home furnishings but they have some gift-type items as well. As far as I can tell, they most likely rotate what they showcase in the store as the season goes but many things can be purchased online. During my visit, they happened to be doing a monthly wine tasting and I proceeded to sample several wines. The wines can be purchased in-store and online. Even during these times I would like to "see" things as I shop (but maybe don't "touch"?), and Two Chicks District Co. is worth a visit. The store isn't big but depending of when you go it won't be a full house. I chatted with the staff during the wine tasting, and I am sure they will be knowledgeable and helpful with your shopping needs.

The store is easy to find, and it sits on North Green Street next door to Applebee's. They carry a large selection of beautiful waterproof flooring, carpet, and area rugs. We were greeted by two friendly clerks as we entered. After discussing what we needed, she directed us to the correct side of the sales floor. I was very happy with the waterproof flooring selections I found throughout. The samples are large, and the description, dimensions, manufacturer, and warranty are on the back of the sample flooring. They allow customers to take samples home to view in your lighting and decor. You have to provide a valid credit or debit card, which they put on file. It is destroyed when the samples are returned. I first took 3 samples home because I was certain any of the 3 would be perfect. Well, that was a bust when I placed them on the bathroom floor. All 3 would have worked if necessary. However, something didn't feel right. So I returned the samples and brought home 3 more, and 2 of the 3 were perfect, so I wanted to test the lighting throughout the day and night. The good news was that the flooring brand I selected was on sale and saved us some money. I made my final decision and we ordered the flooring. They told us the flooring would take 10 days to arrive. When the clerk wrote up the order, he informed us of a $100 shipping fee. My husband would have walked out, but he knew I wanted the flooring, so he paid the statement. The flooring arrived within 10 days in perfect condition. I can't comment on their installation process because my husband installed the flooring. They were great to work with, listened to my concerns, and addressed each of them. The samples are larger than the other stores we visited. The sale was helpful, and several of the name brands were on sale when we ordered our flooring on May 9, 2023. I will return to Floors For You when we replace the carpet in 2 of our bedrooms. Shipping fee or not, it was a simple, stress-free process. Check them out.

I reached out to FFY in March, 2024. Colleen was good and patient with my mother as this was an…read moreinsurance claim and my parents wanted me to be there when they went to FFY. I got into town in May so we went to FFY. The first sample we saw was perfect. We were also shown a second because Colleen though the second would hold up better with our rolling chairs. We chose the first. The sample was at an angle and we said we like this better because of the angle and color. I took my parents check for half in a week later and signed the agreement with David (Colleen was out of the office). He got us scheduled before I was heading out of town which we greatly appreciated. When the independent contractor (Justin) arrived on June 6 he told my mother the floor was not in the contract to be laid at an angle. I called Colleen to see what happened. She said the contract did not say the floor would be angled. That to do that would cost $1500 extra (extra material and labor). I said I understood that but that I would like a courtesy discount. She said she'd call me back. When she called back she had the actual new quote (which I didn't request). I said we're not interested in the angle any longer due to the cost and not having anytime to make the decision about spending more money. She then passed me to the owner, Lori. THIS IS WHEN THE PROBLEM REALLY STARTED. Do Not Use this company due to the owner and her response and treatment of me. She said they did NOTHING wrong. I tried to explain that my parents don't have the extra $1300 to get what they thought they were getting. They were very disappointed. Lori twisted my words and said I wasn't going to pay the remaining balance due. I NEVER said that. I said it was too difficult to suddenly spend an additional $1300. I said as a courtesy for their disappointment at not getting what they expected, we'd like a courtesy discount. I pointed out that Colleen screwed up. We said we wanted it angled. We did NOT realize there was special terminology to have a floor angled (we are the lay people). Lori would NOT even admit that Colleen made a mistake. Lori yelled at me and said if we don't want the floor then just cancel (of course she never mentioned refunding the $1300 we had already paid them). Of course, we didn't want it cancelled as my parents had their original carpet torn out since February, 2024 and the basement was just cement. Most rude owner of ANY company I have ever encountered. I will NEVER return and NEVER recommend this company. We had used FFY in 2000 when building our 5,000 sq ft house. At that time Lori's father ran the company and we had no problems at all. All in all the floor and Justin the installer were great. Colleen and Lori not even being able to admit they made a mistake and the unprofessionalism of the owner made this the worse transaction I've ever encountered. BEWARE!
