Carpet Depot of Jonesboro recently installed carpet at my house. The salesman lied by omission and was deceptive. I scheduled an appointment for the salesman to come out and take measurements. The salesman, Scott when taking the measurements had to of observed the doors and the space between the doors and the concrete flooring. Scott, the salesman did not tell me before taking my full payment for installation that doors would need to be trimmed to close properly. The salesman also did not tell me that doors would be removed and left off after work was completed. When, I followed up with Scott, he was initially evasive before eventually making me listen to his long condescending rant explaining how the doors have to be trimmed. Carpet Depot completely glossed over the fact that someone (either installers or retailer that hired installers) should have told me ahead of time that the doors needed to be trimmed. I like most customers don't get carpet installed everyday. Had I known, I would have chosen to have the doors trimmed prior to getting the carpet installed or chosen a company that could do it all at the same. read more

Great prices and the quality is good. There aren't a lot of discount carpet stores on the south side of Atlanta. They don't have a large selection of colors but the colors they have I think you could find something to accommodate your needs. They also have there own carpet installers which is awesome. My experience was not good at all. They refuse to accept responsibility of doing a very poor job installing the vinyl in my kitchen. Debris was left in my driveway and yard, several holes had to be filled in. Less than 6 months later, I had to have another company come out and re-do my kitchen floor. When trying to discuss the matter with Scott, he was very unprofessional and hung up the phone in my face. Multiple times. That was so rude and disrespectful. I would not use this store ever again and I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. read more

I recently purchased the most beautiful carpet for my home from Carpet Depot on Jonesboro Rd. and from start to finish it was a very professional and pleasurable experience. Scott was such a great person to work. He provided amazing communication and service. He also worked hard to get the pricing/installation of the carpet within a price range that I could afford. He sent the installers out to do the actual measuring (because mine was a rough estimate); called me with the updated my pricing and the next day the carpet was installed. Unbelievable! The installers were definitely superior experts at their craft. I could hardly believe how meticulous they performed their work. They carefully moved the furniture out of the rooms and then moved it back into position when finished. While I don't think I'll have to replace my carpet any time soon, if you're looking for carpet, Carpet Depot on Jonesboro Rd. is an excellent place to start. Make sure you ask for Scott. read more

I had service at my house on 8-24 I have used them before no problems good work but this time I had flooring put down I'm on a concrete slab so when they started they had to even out the concrete so the floor would lay even understood my complaint is they did not tape up the opening to the room so concrete went everywhere it was a mess my husband closed the bedroom doors and told them to put something up leading to the kitchen so that would not be a mess when I got home from work I was in tears the downstairs was a mess white concrete dust everywhere they left it like that I didn't mine some cleaning but we cleaned for 3 hours and 3 hours the next day when I called Scott on Monday I asked him why the workers were not equipped with plastic to cover up so don't have to kill your self cleaning up his response was there was no protocol for covering up so u would not mess a person whole house up for work in one room very disappointing I did not like his attitude I will never use this company again read more

I read the reviews and found the prices to be cheaper than most places. I did my homework...... so I thought. Here's the problem when worker left in a hurry so did our brand new Play station 4, all the cords, 2 new video games, one controller to the system, a watch and matching bracelet set. The items were put away out of view, but 30 mins. before the installers completed the job the kids pulled out the game system to play and placed it on a desk. I left the room (game system was on the desk) with the kids to address one of the supervisors that called me outside and upon returning to the room the system, controller games and watches were gone. The workers were rushing pass me with piles of trash and loading up to leave. Instantly the kids noticed the system was gone. I immediately contacted Wayne who stated he trusted the workers and they could not have taken it. The supervisor was sent back to my home upon arriving was met with Clayton County Police officers. They searched the home found no game system only 2 empty cartridges with missing games a empty watch box and 1 control to the game still present. Sure the price was cheaper the work was good but the workers are THIEVES please be advised if you use them be aware and very alert. I still had receipts because the system was purchased for Christmas. They did after 3 day pay for the system. The theft was more damaging then anything and my sense of security has been shaken. read more
