If you value your time, money, home, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The work on our floors and dry wall required multiple return visits. After the second flooring visit, we told them the floor was still uneven and that the vinyl continued to pop up. On the third visit, a team member stepped on the area that was popping up and said, "There's nothing wrong!" After we insisted they open the floor, we discovered that cardboard packaging from the vinyl floor boards had been used underneath the floor to address the leveling issue... When we finally thought the flooring was finished, another problem surfaced. The trim at the top of our staircase that had been installed only about two weeks earlier came loose, and I fell down the stairs as a result. We then discovered that our replacement dry wall was visibly uneven and not flush with the existing wall. Even after their team came back to work on it, the transition was still not flush, if not worse! Regardless of whether subcontractors were involved, we hired Into The Woods to ensure the work was completed properly and ultimately hold them responsible. On top of having to repeatedly identify problems that should have been caught through proper supervision and quality control, the most frustrating part has been communicating with Into the Woods direct team members, especially their owner, Shamus. We constantly felt like our concerns were minimized and dismissed. Even if the work had been perfect, the interactions with the company throughout this entire process made us wish we never signed anything with them.

Once we accepted this predicament we worked with our insurance company. They assigned a flooring contractor who was tasked with finding a product that would work for us. They were intent on getting us to replace it with a laminate...but we knew that was not something of interest...We wanted to retain the look and integrity of original wood floor. Vetoed laminate and chose to go with the new engineered hardwood product on the market that we believe hit all the notes. It is hardwood with a little help from newer technology eliminating some problems of only hardwood flooring. . These flooring contractors gave us some push back . The most troubling was they couldn't find a color match ...it doesn't seem to exist longer. Well guess what...LL Floor (Jassy and Victor) came through for us. They identified the correct color which they carried and they educated us on all the pros and cons of such product. They put us at ease and took a lot of stress away. They also did not pressure us to buy from them. They are truly professionals who know their product and care about you, the customer. Very impressed and pleased with this experience. It's rare.
