I engaged Carolina Tub Doctor who I guess is a referral company and sent out Anthony with Dynamic Resurfacing - this review has also been left on their company profile. I was told that since my tub had previously been resurfaced that they would strip the old and it would take about a day and a half. They guy they sent out left the stuff on for MAYBE an hour. It might have degreased the surface but it definitely didn't take the old off. How do I know? Because the old stuff is showing through. This guy did ZERO prep work. He didn't sand the rough edges and peeling bits of the old resurfacing, he didn't even remove the grout! Finished product is that you can see the outlines of all the crusties from underneath. And then in some places where the old was peeling and the vintage aqua tiles were showing through he put such a thin coat on over it the aqua still show through. To add insult to injury, within just a few showers it started peeling off in chunks. When I go to clean it (using only a soft rag and mild dish soap as instructed) it comes off as though I'm using steel wool. He's come back several times when we've asked him to fix it but never said more than a couple minutes and dashed out the door without ever fixing the problems. He doesn't want to admit he can't fix them at point - he skipped prep work. He went on and on bragging about what an artist he is and how his years and years of experience make him the best - B.S. He's a hustler and his flooring guy friend he recommended to me also never showed up to finish the job (but cashed the check.) He's just one of many con artists. Don't touch this business with a ten foot pole."
