Then Covid hit us all, and my carpet literally hadn't been cleaned since 2019. I was so embarrassed when they came. The only thing worse than an unexpected flood in your house is an unexpected flood late on Saturday night! The good news is that Carpet Tech has an answering service 24 hours a day. A service technician really does return your call in a timely manner. They arrived at my house, as promised, not long after midnight. They were kind, thoughtful, helpful and thorough. I made an appointment for Carpet Tech to come out to my house and clean all the carpets. I moved all of the furniture off the floor, even the beds! With three kids this was a huge task. But 15 minutes before my appointment I recieved a call saying they needed to change my appointment to the next day because they had too many emergency calls come in due to a thunderstorm the night before. While I do understand an emergency I had my house upside down waiting for them. I believe they should have dealt with the appointment they already had first. I had to have another company come out to clean my carpets and they arrived within 2 hours. I will never attempt to use Carpet Tech again. read more
