Rejoinder - Paul Davis of North Florida…read more Paul Davis of North Florida continues to evade responsibility through denial and misdirection, despite overwhelming evidence of misconduct. If they maintain that they did not commit insurance fraud as i rightfully asserted, they must produce the signed Certificate of Completion (for the mitigation scope) they claim to have. I never signed such a document, and the assigned adjuster, Teri McGowan, confirmed she did not verify or approve the project's completion. The burden of proof lies with Paul Davis--not with the homeowner. I provided extensive, time-stamped photo and video evidence clearly showing that significant portions of the home were never cleaned or restored. Their own estimator, Randall Minor, acknowledged these deficiencies and confirmed that unused scope items would be removed and refunded to the insurer. I categorically reject the claim of any outstanding balance. In contrast, Paul Davis owes me for stolen insurance funds and damaged property. Their attempt to deflect accountability through vague responses is unacceptable and must be exposed.

This may be an ok company if you are paying them directly but, whatever you do... do NOT sign the…read moreform they hand you that basically says "your insurance company will pay us directly, not you". If you do this, consider it a death sentence to your home. I had a small water leak in my kitchen. The plumber removed a portion of drywall to find the leak and we saw that we had a spot of mold about the size of a potato. I called my insurance company and filed a homeowners claim. Elements came out about a week later and said they'd get started the following week. The first thing they did, was have me sign this form I spoke about. I figured it was standard and that it was just part of the process. I was wrong. Once I signed, Elements told my insurance company is was a $10,000 job and that they needed to basically destroy a 10x10 foot area in my home... which they did. They did this, solely to scam money out of my insurance company. When they told me they were going to basically ruin my house, I of course told them "no". Then they told me that once a mold claim is opened on a home, that the home could not be sold unless the mold claim was officially certified / closed. Basically, this meant that I HAD to let them ruin my home, or else I wouldn't be able to sell my house in the future. This was a lie but, I didn't know any better at the time. Anyways, they thoroughly ruined my whole kitchen. Removed 2 walls, ripped up carpet, removed tile and busted my kitchen cabinets and ruined my counter tops. All this for a spot the size of my hand, that could have been fixed in about 5 minutes with some anti-microbial spray. 5 months later, my kitchen still isn't back in order. I had multiple contractors come out and none could match my existing cabinets or flooring. The worst part is that the Elements workers were so sloppy, that they damaged parts of my house that weren't even in the work area. The bumped equipment into my walls, they banged up my front door and they ruined my floors in multiple spots OUTSIDE OF THE WORK AREA. When I called them about it, they just ignored me (since my insurance company was paying them, I had no leverage and they didn't care how they treated me) So now I've spent thousands to fix my kitchen ... my cabinets no longer match, the guys at Elements broke my granite counter tops in multiple spots, and my floors need to be complete redone... all because Elements wanted a bigger check from my insurance company. Companies like this, are the reason the cost of insurance is so high. These people are professional scam artists.

Ivan, RestoPros' estimator and project manager, met with me personally, prepared the estimate, supervised every aspect of the project, and worked alongside his crew throughout the job. With more than 20 years of experience in restoration as both a tradesman and project manager, Ivan's knowledge and professionalism were evident from the outset. Equally important, he is an excellent communicator, dependable, trustworthy, and genuinely committed to doing the job right. He consistently followed through on everything he promised--and even went beyond my expectations. He is also personable, approachable, and simply a pleasure to work with. Ivan is someone who does what he promises--and then goes beyond what you expect. I would also like to recognize Ivan's two crew members, Noah and Justen. They were courteous, respectful, hardworking, and thorough. The project took three days to complete, and throughout the entire process they demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine pride in their work. The crew removed all remaining damaged plaster, cleaned up every bit of debris, and left the area properly prepared for future ceiling reconstruction. They also performed mold remediation on the exposed ceiling joists in the attic area and, as an unexpected courtesy, treated all of the kitchen cabinets and drawers at no additional charge. The cabinets looked refreshed and even smelled noticeably cleaner afterward. I would also like to thank Lina in the office. She was consistently pleasant, responsive, and helpful whenever I had questions or needed information. Good communication makes a significant difference on projects like this, and she was outstanding. From beginning to end, my experience with RestoPros of Northeast Florida was excellent. Their professionalism, integrity, communication, and workmanship gave me confidence throughout the project. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone in need of restoration, cleanup, or mold remediation services.
