Julie was very personable and knowledgeable. I wanted a large 12'x12' area rug made from thick cut pile carpet with bound edges. I knew what color I wanted. After showing me a few samples I found what I was looking for. She contacted me the next day after receiving a price from the factory with delivery. I agreed to purchase it primarily because it was lush and thick 50 oz per sf; can't find that with online area rugs. read more

We went in to discuss flooring options and were told it should cost 1/3 of the cost of your house. Needless to say we left and went to coastal floors were they actually talked us down from spending too much on floors. Got our floors done beautifully for a fraction of the price. Very helpful folks here. What I did find was that they had no product in stock and their prices were very high comparative to Floor and Decor that also had everything I needed in stock. Every product I was interested in at American Flooring was either sold out and on backorder for months or at minimum, 10 days out. I had to move on. read more

I moved to the Fernandina Beach area from Southwest Florida after being in the flooring industry for over 30 years there. So when my friend asked me to go with her to look for flooring I told her I would love to. She had been toying with the idea of redoing the entire main area of her home for almost two years. Upon walking in the showroom we were greeted by the owner who knew my friend and was familiar with her project. I liked her instantly. During the next few months we were in and out of the showroom looking at hard surface products and trying to make final decisions. They were always patient as she painstakingly choose her flooring and set a date. When the installers arrived at the job I was very impressed with their professionalism as we discussed the job and plan of action. They were always courteous and answered any questions or concerns we had during the entire process. When the floor was finished it was Beautiful!!! Of all my years in the industry I had never worked with installers of this caliber. So when my friend went to pay the final bill and they asked if I might consider coming to work for them it was a no-brainer! My first week there we were voted "Best Of The Best" flooring company...not to my surprise!! If you need any kind of flooring I can recommend them both personally and professionally! Our experience with American Flooring in Yulee, FL was excellent. We are absolutely thrilled with American Flooring's quality, professionalism, and service. Julie and the staff in the showroom, as well as Timmy's install team headed by Jimmy were phenomenal. We had over 2,000 of old tile and damaged hardwood floors removed and replaced with water and scratch resistant hardwood flooring. Minimal dust considering the extensive tear out and the entire project was completed in 7 days! While you may find "cheaper" options elsewhere, you will not find better service or quality anywhere. read more

We absolutely love our flooring! The overall process of scheduling and choosing the type of flooring was much more relaxing and simple than we realized. Everyone at American Flooring was kind, accommodating, and did not once pressure us to choose our flooring until were ready to do so. They were very informative about each type and the costs associated. The installation was very efficient and professional. My experience with American Flooring has been top notch since the start. I was given great service and lots of help when I stopped in to look at samples. The ladies worked with me, pulling samples and letting me bring them home so that I could see them in the rooms they were to be installed in. I looked at them for a few days and finally decided which were best. I had them install a hickory, engineered wood floor upstairs and on the staircase and a lovely carpet in the master suite. They worked with me on setting the install date since I had to be out of town for a few weeks. They kept in touch, confirmed our appointment and arrived on time. I really appreciated their promptness and courtesy. The install couldn't have been better. They were efficient, friendly and professional in every sense. I was given a chance to see the work in each phase and ask questions about the product. The gentlemen cleaned up and stored the remaining wood and carpet for me. I was more than thrilled with both the finished carpet and the wood flooring.....and the ease of the install was the icing on the cake. Thank you American Flooring for such a great experience.
