I work in CA and was going back to MT for a little while. I called a month before I was going to be through Livingston to make an appointment and to make sure he had the parts I could pick up to put the turbo on myself. I called back 2 weeks before the appointment to double check with as I was told by Aden. Everything was a good at that time. I showed up at his shop and my ABS light came on during my trip so I wanted them to look into that to. The tranny guy test drove my pickup and said it wasn't that bad yet to worry about tearing into it. Another shop tech was going to look at the ABS light. He decided to replace the rear sensor and wiring pig tail. I waited 3 hrs while they were working on it. Well part of the time was waiting on the parts store to deliver a part. They got pickup got done finally and I got a bill of $320. They charged me $75 to test drive my pickup and tell me not to worry about. They also charged me $180 in labor to pull a plug out of the top of rear end and put a new one in. I paid it and left feeling I got taken advantage of, but it was fix. I made it 5 miles down the road and the ABS lights came back on. To top it off before I left I went to pick up my parts for the turbo and he sold my manifold to someone else the week before. So he had to order another one and I couldn't get it tell the end of the week. I have dealt with Aden over the years and he has really changed just cares about making money now.

I looked for the nearest exit which took me into Livingston. It was late at night so I had to find a place to stay for the night. Early the next morning I did a Google search of mechanics in Livingston and called A-1 Muffler & Auto Repair. They had me come right in. Fortunately my battery still had enough charge to get me to their shop. They confirmed it was the alternator. After a call a parts guy delivered a new alternator, but it was the wrong model. After some more searching an alternator was found in Bozeman, a 25 mile drive away, which they made to pick it up. About 45 minutes later, they called to ask if we still needed help. We confirmed we did, but the response was that they could no longer assist us. When we asked if they knew anyone else who could help, since we only needed a truck with a tow strap to give us a pull, she said no and wished us good luck. We wasted over two hours waiting when we could have been trying to find help elsewhere.
