This will be a bittersweet review. I am someone who considers marriage as sacred. Unfortunately…read moremy ex-wife of 25 years didn't believe so during the last few months with her adultery. And with her not willing to save our union, she left me no other choice than petition for divorce. My assigned attorney Keith Johnson and his assistant Crystal Aparicio, in a sympathetic tone explained to me that despite my feelings, this needed to be treated as a business transaction with my interest taking precedent. The result was a final divorce decree that took place faster than the minimum 30-days; my pension left untouched, and stipulation that I could live with. Yes, that whole time felt like a living hell, but the staff at the firm were always available to contact and made the whole process as smooth as possible. I would never recommend needing a divorce attorney, but if there is no other choice - please contact these folks. They provide a degree of light during a dark time in life, and I thank them.

I believe this firm is likely reputable, however, I do not recommend Keith Johnson. He did a…read morehorrible job representing me and allowed me to sign my life away for the next 7 years. He showed me no calculations for allocation of child support and alimony and was largely absent in the process. I was under duress during mediation due to an injury that occured the night before. He allowed the mediation to go on for over 12 hours and recommended I give my ex-wife my house with a 2.85% mortgage, my truck, $6000 per month in child support and alimony event though I have my kids 50% of the time and I paid off all her debt. This put me on a path that has caused immense emotional and physical stress. Don't risk it.

I hired Mary Bevan to represent me during my divorce. While she initially presented a positive…read moreoutlook and said she would advocate for a fair outcome, the reality was far different. Her communication throughout the process was minimal, and during mediation, she admitted to taking her sick child to daycare, which I feel motivated her to finish fast that day. She encouraged me to accept an extremely one-sided settlement: minimal child support and alimony, no back pay, and no share of funds my ex withdrew from our accounts or retirement. Despite having strong evidence (including video of infidelity), she repeatedly dismissed its relevance and downplayed my concerns. She also failed to properly investigate significant financial discrepancies--over $60,000 in unexplained income on my ex's bank statements. I left mediation feeling blindsided, unsupported, and trapped. I called immediately afterward trying to withdraw my consent to the agreement, but was told I could not. Looking back, I wish I had a stronger advocate--someone who understood my situation and fought for a truly fair outcome. I do not recommend her to others going through divorce, especially if you're in a vulnerable financial or emotional position.

Pearson Butler has refused to give it to me and will not respond to my emails. Mr. Rice told me that if I wanted them to pay it out and provide that information, to hire an attorney. Absolutely unbelievable... as if my Mother is a Defendant and I'm a Plaintiff? As the executors of her last will and testament, they have a fiduciary duty to honor her wishes. She would be absolutely appalled. This is the most abhorrent thing I've EVER experienced... not to mention reprehensible and corrupt. Christina Pippin

When I got there, they gave me an office tour and sat me down in a waiting room. I had already filled out their intake form online. An HOUR later, an HOUR .... the Chiropractor finally comes in, we go through all the questions. She tells me that she would like to do an xray. I'd understand if I was just recovering from an accident and insurance was covering it, but I'm just there for a quick crack and dash. She tells me it's required and its an additional $99 on top of the $70 adjustment. No mention of this prior. Good customer service would've been "Hey we'll do this for free because we dropped the ball and wasted your morning.". but no. I told her my frustration and left am hour 20 after I got there. Will not return. ever.

In response to Dr Shetlin's email:…read more I don't have any ill feelings towards Dr. Shetlin although he does towards me. He's not in the right state of mind and I completely get it. I felt my review was unbiased and objective. I was only writing a review like a usually do. Dr. Shetlin did not bend over backwards for me. I merely just showed up for my appointment. I also asked questions which I did not know were not allowed and frowned upon. I also didn't know that wanting them to obtain a prior authorization and bill my insurance was "wanting everything for free." If I wanted something for free I would have taken him up on the offer of taking their collagen powder that he requested I take "for free". I also apologize for not jumping into a $9,000 package. I only told my experience and I know for a fact people like going to his office if not they wouldn't be open and they wouldn't leave 5 star reviews. I also apologized for your wife's death and told you I was very sorry for your loss. As you told me that's why the eligibility for my insurance was not checked . I've also had family pass away this year. It's hard and it sucks but life doesn't stop & you know this or you wouldn't be in the office or still have it open. You also said that your daughter did the billing and insurance verification but as soon as I showed my ID your front office was able to verify it with out your daughter being their. I was just confused as to why they hadn't done so before. I am sorry you wish me negative energy, Dr. Shetlin I wish you the best and I pray god gives you the strength to help you get through these difficult times.

My experience with Nelson Jones, specifically attorney Andrew Christensen, was extremely…read moredisappointing. I am sharing this experience in the hope that others can make informed decisions and avoid going through what I experienced. From the beginning, communication was poor. I consistently struggled to receive updates or meaningful guidance regarding my case. We attended mediation on two separate occasions, both of which were unsuccessful. Throughout the mediation process, I felt that my interests were not being adequately represented. It appeared that the primary objective was to reach any settlement possible, even if it came at my expense, rather than advocating for my position. These mediations cost me approximately $525 for the first attempt and $175 for the second. A complete waste of time and money. At the temporary orders hearing, there was significant confusion regarding my legal representation. Attorney Christensen appeared, but I was uncertain whether he was still representing me. He arrived with another individual I had never met and informed me--at that moment--that this individual, identified as Malcolm, would be handling the hearing. I was further told that this individual had never participated in a hearing before and wanted the experience. At that point, I had no meaningful opportunity to object or seek alternative representation. During the hearing, it became clear that my legal counsel was unprepared. No objections were raised, and no exhibits were presented to the commissioner on my behalf. In contrast, the opposing party's counsel presented their case without challenge. As a result, the opposing party was granted everything she petitioned for. Despite having been an active and present father throughout my children's lives, I was awarded only limited visitation. Additionally, I was ordered to pay approximately $1,900 per month in child support and $1,800 per month in alimony. The outcome was devastating and, in my view, directly tied to the lack of effective representation during the hearing. Overall, I felt abandoned as a client and inadequately defended at a critical moment in my case. In conclusion After spending the entire retainer on random emails and calls. I was charged and extra $6600 for the remaining "work" that he allegedly did, be aware an email of complete nonsense cost me $140.00. This has been by far the most expensive mistake of my life. My purpose in sharing this experience is not to dictate whom others should hire, but to provide an honest account of my experience so others can make informed decisions and avoid a similar outcome.
