Hands down the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. I got the T.B.A. - turkey bacon and avocado...doesn't sound like much but it is packed full of flavor. It's unreal! Excellent food and great value. Love the hand dipped ice cream just as much as the fresh home made sandwiches. Favorite sandwich is the Ultimate Bagel! They get busy, but usually have no problem keeping up with the customers. Keep in mind that they are a cash only business, so make sure you bring some. read more

The owner brought his business from San Francisco and has an article written about him on the wall. They have GREAT sandwiches, and know how to make REAL coffee. Espresso, cappuccino etc. the real deal. Not the Starbucks junk. It's the best hidden secret. I give 5 stars as much for the ambience. I rarely do that. I always base my ratings on the food quality. But I loved this place and would go back. Very small and can't have a lot of business because pretty remote. But the guy has a passion for what he is doing. Coffee was very good. Not the best I've had but definitely not the worst!! Fantastic little coffee/pastry/sammich/ice cream shop. Food was tasty and incredibly affordable. You'll feel like you're in a different time and place when you eat here. Its practically a museum to old soda collectibles. Totally has the feel of an old soda fountain in the heart of Carabelle's downtown area. I only wish they had high chairs available for toddlers, but that's seriously the only negative you can say about it. I'd definitely be back. read more

My granddaughter and I stopped here on our way to the airport and we are so happy we did!!! What an incredible cafe....perfect cappuccino and the owner even took the time to teach me how to make a perfect cappuccino!!! My granddaughter had an awesome mocha that she loved. This place is such a joy! The owner, Ron, moved here from San Francisco and brings the fresh, non-fried food with him. He has a unique style with a very dry sense of humor. The shop is decorated with fifties diner memorabilia. I would call the place "cute" but Ron will tell you he doesn't like the description. He makes a mean espresso and fresh squeezed orange juice. This place is worthy of a leisurely stop. Make sure you take the time to chat with Ron, he has some stories to share. read more

What a jewel to come across! We stopped in for lunch and were transported back into childhood! So many authentic items from that era adorn the place - juke box, sofa fountain, and 50s-70s memorabilia. The sandwiches were simple but tasty. The chocolate malt was out of this world!!!!! There aren't a lot of choices in Carrabelle but this place is great! The have coffee and tea - although the sweet tea is like syrup- if you usually do 1/2 and 1/2 try 1/4 sweet to 3/4 unsweet here. They serve ice cream and breakfast dishes but our favorites are the lunches. They have a group of hot and cold sandwiches with creative toppings you don't expect to find in a small town. They always have a soup of the day and great salads. They even do a blue plate special every day today it was a chicken with cream cheese, tomato, red onion, and jalapeno. served with a tiny salad, chips and a little pudding for $6.75 and it was amazing. We've loved everything we've ever had here and we come every year! read more
