DO NOT do business with this company!!! Josh and Tamara ripped off my client. They held an estate sale and then took the fine art and antique piano to their store to be sold online. We saw that the art sold online for dubiously low prices. My client has NEVER been paid for the artwork sold online nor for his antique piano valued at over $20k. They have never returned calls or emails. DO NOT do business with this company!!! read more

Can't rank Josh and Tamara any lower than a one, but I would if I could. We're waiting over 4 months for payment on items that they sold. With respect to other items, they claim they were never paid, but they refuse to return the "unsold" items. They don't return unsold merchandise, and they don't return telephone calls or emails. Truly disgusting behavior. Avoid at all costs. read more

I won two items from this company at one of their auctions. They handled everything on-line in a professional way, and I received my items very quickly. I will have no problem bidding on items at their auctions in the future. read more

they do not even deserve 1 star they deserve much less!!! josh carrell is a scandalous unprofessional, sweet talking his lying sale pitch to reel you in and gain your trust to consign with his auction company. they say payment will be made within 30 days untrue!! i consigned my items in june fine artwork and was told some of my items were not paid for so they were considered unsold ok so i ask for items back and still the end of dec now have not received my art work back this is only 1 item of many they have of mine still not returned nor sold on any auction they have had. i have requested over & over for my items to be returned to me. they do not answer calls or return them either. josh was supose to bring my items & a check back to me (all via email this time from his wife) on a scheduled date and time only for him to be a no show!! so again i requested my items and a check last week only to recieve a email saying all items have been sold and check in mail. no they have not josh they were never listed and that suposed check in the mail well that's another lie cause it don't take a week to get mail!!! i asked for proof of the sale and he has not shown proof of sold items. h knows they are worth a good amount so he seals them and says he's paid you for them when clearly he hasn't. he has closed down shop and relocated somewhere else now and took my belongs with him without my approval and prior to move knew i was trying to come and get my items. horrible unprofessional lies scandalous theiveing arrogant just awful to have to go through all of this. the da's office is next they need to be stopped!! shame on you!! !! read more

One star only because there is nothing lower available. These are not estate sales this outfit puts on. Prices are obscene. The guy marks stuff up at the sale, hoping it doesn't sell...Then the items end up on his auction site after the fact. I'm convinced that he truly hopes his items don't sell at the sales, I think, so he can offer them later on the auction site and make more money off them later. On the other hand, he does turn up some nice stuff. Just don't waste your time expecting the usual estate sale prices on any of it. read more

I have never in my life written a bad review but sadly I have no other option. The Carrells arrived at my home and picked up literally hundreds of pieces of art. Not unlike the other reviewers, in a nutshell it was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. I received only one check after I had asked over and over to get an inventory list of my items. I found out online that they had already listed the items for auction after they were live. The list finally came after numerous queries. Nothing we had agreed upon was in effect regarding pricing. (I was told nothing would be sold until i had the list. ) Additionally, I have been trying to pick up my inventory because it was so grossly under sold. I can't seem to have anybody return my emails or phone calls. I'm also owed a check for items that I did not authorize being sent to auction after my request to return my inventory. Basically, I have lost untold amounts of money.. At this point I am forced to pursue legal action. I've given them every opportunity and been as compassionate as possible during their "life challenges" but at this point they have stolen my money and my merchandise. Very disappointing to say the least. read more

Bidded online at Carrell Estate Sales, LLC auction through LiveAuctioneer. I am LiveAuctioneers member and customer for many years, bidded on many auctions and always was able to communicate, make a payment, receive emails and invoices, collect my items. With this auction house for over 2 weeks didn't receive an invoice and kept emailing them for an answer, left them messages on the phone, no answer. Then I went online and found that they have another business at the same location. Made a phone call to that business and asked for help. After that they finally called me last Friday and texted me my invoice. I made a payment on their website this Tuesday but on Thursday they declined my payment. And again, no communication, don't answer the phone. After I submitted my complaint to LiveAuctioneers they finally emailed me to say that I exceeded my time frame for payment. Not trusted or reliable business. Won't ever do business with them again. Very bad experience. read more

first time buyer. So far so good have purchased items at what I feel is a fair price. invoices were sent in timely fashion and easy to pay, reasonable price for shipping. Would raise my star rating if my items arrive in a timely fashion as well. The arrival of my items in a timely fashion is almost as important to me as the price I pay. read more
