We were actually looking for a different food truck but when we got there it was closed and this place was open. It had snowed the previous day so there wasnt many places you can sit. This Mexican food truck has all manor of tacos and fajitas as well as other Mexican delicacies. My husband and I ordered three tacos each. They took our order and asked us to wait in our car and they would bring it to us. I got the tongue, head and birria tacos. I have to say it is some of the best tacos I've had outside of San Diego. They did not skimp on the meat which was tender and flavorful. The head (cabeza) was fatty and so good. I don't see this sold very often along with tongue which is an underrated cut of meat. I would say that I am a somewhat picky eater when it comes to Mexican food. Could be due to the fact that I was raised eating it my whole life. Anyway I stopped by for some tacos and so glad I did! I tried chorizo, asada, and adobada. All 3 were equally delicious. They offered red, green, and avocado salsas. I asked for all 3 and they made the tacos extra flavorful. And they had glass bottle sodas! Those always make any Mexican meal even more amazing. The going man that took my order brought my order out to me from inside the food trailer vs yelling out my order. It is a bit hidden in a small dirt type lot but gps should take you there. read more

It's probably just a matter of taste, but while the burrito we received was a good size, it wasn't a taste profile we cared for. It had lettuce inside where we'd have preferred more cilantro and it had a real citrusy flavor (lemon? lime?) It was also served with fries, which just seemed like a weird combination. While we probably wouldn't return, we were glad to have some place to eat that was so near to the motel and we were thankful to the gentleman who let us wait in the motel lobby and delivered it to us when it was so cold and windy outside. read more

There aren't that many restaurants on our way back to Williams, so we decided to stop by Carreta El Asadero for some Mexican food. We brought it back to our hotel to eat, and the chorizo taco was a bit too salty, but the asada, adovada, and birria tacos were delicious! The birria burrito we got was also very hefty and yummy. The fries, however, came in a small portion and were not as golden or salted as we would've liked. The teen that was working at the register was friendly and even brought our order to our car! However, it did take quite a while for our food to come out. It's a good place to stop by if you're staying in the area because of the limited food options. The food was good for the most part. We found the beef overly seasoned/salty, but everything else was delicious. The service was slow, but we saw a lot of people in the parking lot waiting for orders so it seemed that they were overwhelmed with orders. The food was worth waiting for once we sat down to eat. If you call ahead and ask if they are opened and they say yes, until 5pm. Then you drive 20 miles and get there at 2:10 to find they closed....suck, found a new spot next to the McDonald. read more

The food was fantastic! Fresh and well seasoned! I tried three different tacos Asada, birreria, adobada. I couldn't decide which was better. My husband got the special; a baked potato filled with adobada topped with fresh avocado, salsa and sour cream. He loved it. We almost missed the location. It's a tiny food truck in the Quality Inn parking lot across the street from the Maverick gas station. The service was so fast and friendly. The owner even brought the food out to our truck when it was ready. Would highly recommend this place! read more
