    Tacos de Tripa (Tripe Tacos)

While visiting Williams, AZ, we stopped at Ronaldo's for a late night snack. It was jam packed our the door. Despite the heavy traffic, we were tended to quickly and with great customer service. I ordered a large horchata because it's homemade, and those never disappoint, and this one surely didn't. For my entree I ordered the Camarones Rancheros, and I have to say they were quite tasty. The ranchero sauce had a pico de Gallo taste, flavorful and zesty. The rice was good too. My mom ordered Tacos de Tripas (tripe tacos) and she was thoroughly satisfied. She likes to make sure they serve them nice and fried (crunchy) and she got just that. She only wished that the salsa was spicier. My sister ordered Beef Taquitos and she liked them. This little corner restaurant is worth a try!

I always have to explain why I gave someone 3 stars versus 4. The answer is this: It has nothing to do with the food quality or facility itself. All were wonderful! Anytime I have counter-service, fair or not, if I'm getting my own food I never go above a 3 star because I am not rating a service aspect. Just my own take. Food here was delicious! I had a green chili burro and it was just perfect. I even enjoyed the salsa so much that I brought some home for Twyla the salsa queen. She said that it was awesome! The seating is a little tight with the COVID aspect. However, there are plenty of area along Route 66 to sit and eat (Benches, Outdoor Seating, etc). The menu has a good mix of fare and they crank it out so waiting was not an issue. Winter is a good time to visit this region as you have the place to yourself. However, summertime here is an all out party! Prices are geared towards family spending and feeding the masses. It doesn't break the bank. This Gordo knows a good burrito. Trust me it is all bought and paid for. See you the next time we are in Williams...

Surprisingly GREAT food - the exterior leaves a lot to be desired and the interior needs a food cleaning but I couldn't believe how yummy the food was! Met a few locals inside that said this has quickly become their favorite Mexican food place around.

This is the receipt from dinner.

Not super great and the green sauce seemed like it was old. Horchata wasn't great either

Food is terrible. Portions was nice but overall. Tacos had no seasoning. And texture was nasty

Small little joint but the food was good! Had the Arizona burrito and the family had the menudo and a carne asada burrito. I recommend it

Ew, the breakfast burrito felt like it had been reheated in a microwave. Would never go again.

Only one waitress but she was a real pro and no one seemed impatient with her. She took her time with us and was gracious as well as competent. Food choices are original and you will NOT go away hungry! My enchiladas were all that I ever wish for and they don't stint on the cheese! The chips are home made and we wished we could have bought a bag. The chicken mole is a HALF of a chicken! We all took food away and ate if for dinner the next night. Total value throughout. This was a good tip from our hotel and worth every cent!

The restaurant is huge but they didn't have enough staff that day so there were a lot of tables that needed bussing/cleaning. There were a few large parties too. We weren't starving or in a rush so we were very patient and understanding and just glad they were open. The food wasn't anything to write home about but the staff was very nice even though they seemed overwhelmed. They did apologize for the wait. We had a lovely meal. The loaded fries were delicious. My albondigas soup was just what I wanted on a cold night!

I was staying overnight on a vacation roadtrip and came in on May 30th at 615 am after finding this…read moreplace on Yelp. The waitress Maria L. sat me at a table. I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.
