When an SUV recently ran a Stop sign and T-boned my car, I was really upset, but life happens. Luckily, no one was injured and her insurance covered everything at my end due to her negligence and recommended I bring my car to Carriage House, where they could get an estimate of the damage. Though the amount of damage was over the value of the car, which was credited to me by the insurance company, I opted to pay the difference to get the car fixed instead of sending it to the junkyard. They were contacted by the insurance company and were ready to receive me when I arrived. Peter and Tony are excellent and truly professional! When I dropped off my car for the initial evaluation, Tony drove me to the local rent-a-car agency to get a temporary vehicle. Peter was great in getting me a good and fair estimate very quickly and it was a no-brainer to have them do the work. During the repair process, which took 2 weeks, Tony kept me updated via text message on the state of the car and sent me pictures of their progress. Once completed and I went to pick up, Tony made it a point to say that their repairs are guaranteed for the life of the vehicle and to come back if there are any problems. He even followed up with me the next day to make sure all was well with the car. And it was. Huge thanks to Tony and Peter for making this stressful situation into a smooth and pain-free experience! I can't say enough good things about this body shop. I recently got into a little fender bender and my insurance company recommended Carriage House. At first I was a little hesitant like any else in search of a new body shop. After doing a bit of research and reading up on some reviews online, I decided to give them a shot and see how it would turn out. I don't regret the decision for a single moment. They do amazing work but above all else, their customer service is amazing. They called me almost every other day to keep me updated on where they were with the repairs. A repair that was supposed take 2+ weeks took them a little over a week. When I got my car back I stepped into a brand new vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything had been cleaned immaculately. The floors were vacuumed, the seats were cleaned and the panels were all wiped down. Its the little things like that that keep body shops like Carriage House I'm business for years and years. This is the place to take your car after an accident if you want the job done right. Although on the expensive side, they will do what they can to help you save some money. My vehicle had its front bumper cover completely torn off in an accident, that the insurance refused to pay for. They had ordered the bumper cover for me and painted it ahead of time. Then I came and they installed it in under two hours so I did not have to leave the car there for long. This easily saved me $200 just in rental car fees i'd have to pay if the car were to be left in the shop. read more

Towed my car, reported it to the WRONG precinct, took me 2 days to find my car and not only did they make me pay for those two days (even though it was their fault I couldn't find it), but they were very rude about it. This review only accounts for a total of 10 minutes spent with Carriage House Collision, but isn't that a great thing during a stressful time? I had damage to my driver's side fender / bumper on my Honda. When I called USAA (my insurance company) for advice, they suggested Carriage House for repairs. They were not wrong! My insurance company already had contacted Carriage House to authorize the estimate, and within an hour Carriage House contacted me to bring the car in. No appointment was needed, they took me right away on a Monday morning. The staff was super friendly and already had paperwork lined up for me to authorize repairs. They called within a few hours with the estimate and dealt entirely with my insurance company on their own. As they worked over 4 days, I received regular text updates as to the status of my car and expected pickup date. They gave me a call when the car was done (1 day early!) and told me to come by to pick it up. I inspected the repairs, paid my deductible, and left without having to spend more than 10 minutes in their shop from start to finish. The documentation is THOROUGH. They had a log of every call made to me, every transaction with the insurance company, every step of obtaining parts, exact steps taken during labor, and a full inventory of repairs. They didn't just simply repair my fender/bumper, they went so far as to check the parking sensors! The paint job was flawless and blended perfectly with the rest of the car - you would never know any damage was done. Not only do the repairs look beautiful, but they cleaned my car before giving it back! Amazing service - these guys know what stress looks like and did everything they could to make this a calm and smooth process. My car had some side swipe damage done to it by another motorist and I took it to Carriage House for cost of repair and they gave me a great price to fix it and a lifetime warranty on the work they did to it. The paint job was flawless and a 100% match to the OEM paint from factory. After it was all done, you can't even tell anything ever happened to the car. My insurance covered all the charges from the accident but that doesn't mean you rip off the company. Few days in after having my car, they called us to tell us they couldn't locate my car keys, Are you serious?? The fix was fine but left few paint scruffs, scratched up my new Keys (auto start type). The trunk cover inside wasn't resting well, took the guy 30 mins to fix it and it still didn't look right. But they must of done something wrong because the cover should not have been popping up like that. Only my back and front bumper was damaged no ignition or mechanical fixes and to charge $8,500 come on now. Would def go to a different shop next time. read more

I was not asked by anyone at this business to write a review but I was so pleased with my experience I wanted to share. I often have car repairs done by a family friend and the few times I've not used him I've been very displease , this time was different. Everyone at carriage house was super friendly and they explained everything to me throughly. I revived daily text messages with updates and photos of the progress of my car and all the work was finished on time. When I arrived to drop my car off the called enterprise for me and reminded me not to add the rental company insurance that enterprise will offer because I am covered by my insurance . My car looks great and when I picked it up I was told i could leave the rental with them which saved me having to take the bus home. October 2014 My car had to be towed after an accident and it was stored at this location. A few days after I picked up my car I noticed that my sunglasses were stolen. Tony's a great guy. Keeps you updated by texting you pictures. Their customer service is pretty good too. They had to do some touch ups because they didn't do the best job of repairing my vehicle. The part they had to touch-up was the plastic molding but when I went to pick up my car there was a guy there, I believe his name was James (he's the owner and he's in the photos on this yelp page) and he kept saying "it's just plastic" as if it doesn't matter how it looks since it's plastic. If people pay for a service they don't want half-ass work done whether it was a minor detail or it's plastic. There are better places out there who might even do it for cheaper. If you need a last resort, this is your place, otherwise, go elsewhere. read more

Ummm...I would go elsewhere! Previously we have had our work done at K&E but since this establishment was closer to our home we made the decision to have the work done here. The work took 7 days. We went to pick up the car and we were extremely upset. There were chips, alot of spots that were either not addressed or not painted. They did the entire side of the car but left out the gas cover and the handle. Really?? Just include that in the paint job. We expressed our concerns with management. Left the car there one more day. We picked up the car and everything was taken care of. What if we didn't voice those major concerns. They were satisfied with that finished product of their work.
