The day of the install they showed up on time and went over everything that they were going to do. They said it would take up to 4 hours, but it took them less. I really liked that they were all setting up their work before the city showed up to cut the power. Everything went smoothly. When finished they went over something's and answered all my questions. They were very nice, respectful, and the overall experience was great. Until, a few months later my uncle was in my garage and he noticed something about our electrical. He called my husband and myself over and asked us a few questions. He then explained to us that several of our outlets and switches in the garage/laundry room were wrong; He explained that my 15amp outlets are on a 30amp breaker labeled (by all American) as water heater. But our water heater is gas. Not only is this against code but highly dangerous, as if anything sparks or overloads the breaker won't shut off. I called all American electric and explained what we found. Thinking that since they had been so great that they would come out and take care of this mistake/over site. The representative agreed this was a problem then The representative on the phone told me it was not their responsibility and when they installed the new panel they don't test to see if the labeling was accurate on the old paneling. (Which by the way they were checking light switches, asking me did this turn on the bathroom is it off now etc... sooooo, they did confirm and check some of it) The representative then tells me "we will come out free of charge to give you an estimate to change out the breakers and see what else" So I repeated it back to him and said I'm confused. This was an error, and that it never should have been installed like this. Where he doubled down that it wasn't their problem basically. This is a huge safety violation and I don't even want to imagine. So needless to say at the moment we have the outlets taped off until we can have this fixed. I'm so very disappointed it what seemed to be a wonderful company. I was hoping they would make it right and do the proper thing and stand by their work. Unfortunately that was not the case.

Reached out to Klaus and received a call back that day! Explained the specialty work I needed done. He squeezed me in within 48 hours. Unfortunately, the work that was performed ( which was excellent) wasn't what we really needed. Probably a miscommunication. Now here is where Klaus(owner) restored my faith in humanity. When I reached out to him to pay him for the work that they did complete, he refused to accept compensation! When have you ever heard of that! A gentleman and a complete professional. They were very professional, friendly, efficient and thoughtful of our home. Before starting to install the final fan in the great room (with a 20-foot ceiling), they first had to maneuver a 16-foot step ladder into the house and room which was not easy due to the size and weight. Once they started to work on the install, they discovered that I didn't buy a fan for such a steep sloped ceiling. They repackaged the fan and wrapped up the job. Bottom line, Gunther's team members Alex and Brad did an awesome job. I'm having them back to do the great room fan after I get a new unit.
