His manner is very friendly and easy-going, and he makes you feel comfortable. I had no problems with his old location in Worthington. It was small but actually much more convenient for me (have you SEEN the traffic at Polaris?). However, the new location is clearly much nicer... roomy, modern and bright. Anyway, check this out: I called Mid-Ohio Internal Medicine yesterday (Monday) to make an appointment for some stomach issues and was told I couldn't be seen until Thursday. This was a problem for me, because I was going to temporarily lose my medical insurance starting Wednesday. I asked if there was anything at all they could do, and the secretary said I could come in at 10:15 a.m. today (Tuesday), but I might have to wait for a long time, as they were very overbooked. Well, I arrived at 10:15 a.m. and the waiting room was completely empty. I waited about 30 seconds before being called back, and the whole exam from arrival to departure took about 20 minutes. Amazing.

Aside from coming through fhe surgeries superbly, I have had many many surgeries over the past 40 years, and I have never had a surgeon or doctor for that matter that I felt so safe with. We all visit him for our annual wellness visits and all the stuff in between. I get to use a patient portal to schedule appointments, send the doctor a message or ask a question and to make any payments. The office is also easy to access, right off Polaris Parkway near the corner of Maxtown amd Route 3. It's in a large building on the 2nd floor. The best thing about the visit is seeing the fish tank. The fish tank has all the characters of Nemo. Yes, it makes me feel like a kid again every time I see it.

I had…read morebeen told on two occasions they had plenty samples of two different things and both times when I called to pick up more (my insurance takes forever) low and behold, they were out of samples. Always posed with the question "What do you recommend I do?" And their response was always keep calling to check if they got more in. My last straw was midway through a trial of a medication (one of the ones which they didn't have enough samples of- so round two of attempting this medicine now) I call to schedule my follow up and "We're not contracted with your insurance anymore". I say last straw because for the right medical staff I would pay the out of network fees. So if you have medical conditions or insurance that requires hoops to be jumped through, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

They genuinely listen when you tell them something is wrong or explain what is going on. I had both of my children with this practice. The front desk staff is always friendly and quick to return calls. Unfortunately, as with most medical practices - the practice can't be defined just by the doctors. When it comes to obstetrics for prenatal care and delivery, it's a fairly great experience. The gynecological and post delivery experiences are not as smooth. There has been more than one occasion where it comes across when trying to tell them something is wrong, they don't listen unless you push. Personally, my reproductive health is not something I'm willing to take a chance on with staff not listening. Overall though, the majority of the staff is very friendly, it's a clean place, and great for OB care - my drop in rating comes down to lack of the same attention or concern for detail on the gynecology side.
