    Josh Overnight Oats!!!

If you're looking for a quick, healthy lunch, this is a great restaurant as they mostly source their foods locally and it's all fresh quality healthy foods. I always love their oatmeal bowl as it's perfect consistency and exactly how I like my oatmeal, which is very specific.... and they nailed it!! I highly recommend this place if you want a healthy lunch experience with a cute & cozy atmosphere !

I haven't had Carrot Express in a few years and decided to order delivery yesterday. I ordered the Epic Tuna Melt ($14.95), the Beyond Meat wrap ($16.95), and their carrot cake ($8.95). The tuna melt was so delicious and a generous portion. Great flavors. The Beyond wrap was also quite tasty, and a good portion. It was lacking beyond crumbles and avocado but the plantain in there gave it a nice and sweet taste. The carrot cake was SO good. Great portion and lovely icing. Overall, the food was really good and a quick/healthy option. The prices are a bit high for what they are but at least you know you'll be getting a good portion, meaning leftovers so you can make two meals out of it. Will definitely be ordering again!

I work near by so I always either pick up from this spot or order through uber eats. Carrot cake is a must! It's delicious, although I feel like 8$ is a bit pricey for the slice amount but I still get it. I always grab the legal wrap and it's consistently delicious.

    Poke Bowl

This poke bowl was one of the best I've had, I am usually a big fan of picking my toppings but the toppings that came with the poke bowl on the menu were great! My favorite was the arugula salad that is tossed in spicy mayo; I also enjoyed the 1/2 quinoa 1/2 brown rice base. I would say it's worth the price.

Me and my sister were looking for a cold drink today and ordered 3 smoothies. we walked in and it was not busy, nobody was in the store. somehow the two separate parties that came in a few minutes after us got their drinks before us. annoying, and so i sat by the counter only to see they haven't even started our drinks. i got the açaí smoothie and it was more of a juice. i saw it was less than 3/4 smoothie and the girl covered the drink with her body so i wouldn't see and filled it w orange juice. even then it was not a full drink. i'm just really disappointed because it's hot out and if i wanted a juice i would have just gotten a juice but i ordered a smoothie. the other two drinks came out like that as well. the staff was not friendly nor very concerned with how we waited 25 minutes for 3 smoothies:/

First time at carrot express and I'm impressed! (Laughing at my rhymes) But seriously, I'm impressed. I ordered the poke bowl with the tuna and it was healthy and delicious! It was also a very good portion. Can't wait to return and check out more from their menu.

A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

From a distance, it looks like a food truck, but it's actually a full setup designed to look that way. Even in the scorching heat, there was a line--but it moved quickly. Their menu has everything. Think of it as a Subway style setup, but with smoothies, tropical ingredients, and lots of fresh options. Now the main part...We ordered- Chicken Mix Baguette Tuna Baguette Am I the only one who found it just okay? At Subway, at least they toast the bread for a bit. Here, I genuinely struggled with the hard bread--it was tough to chew. Also, the meats were cold, which I'm not used to. I knew that beforehand, but still wanted to try this hyped spot. They have about 5-7 bar style stools for seating, but in the humidity, it's not the most comfortable experience. Freshness (smoothies & ingredients): 5/5 Overall taste & experience: 3/5 Or maybe we're just spoiled by the big fast food chains?

What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. The owners are exceptionally kind, giving the cafe a warm, neighborhood vibe. Fast food meets Miami cafe vibes for quick, tasty, affordable meals…read more Be sure to look out for their happy hour and late night pricing such as half off burgers, beers, and shakes. Delicious smash burgers, and when I want something somewhat healthier but still super filling and satisfying I snag their chicken burrito, which is sweetened by maduros (sweet plantains). I stopped by for a latte this morning and it was fine - average. There's an add-on option to print a custom design on your latte, which could be a fun Instagram opportunity. Service and food prep is speedy. You can call your order in 10-15 mins ahead if you want to grab it and run, or you can place an order on the computerized menu when you get there or with the helpful staff. If you're dining in, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. No-frills and super casual, yet cozy, vibrant, welcoming, and a fun spot for a food break. That said, while there I usually see more take-out orders than dine-in. No need to worry about finding or paying for street parking since it has its own lot and designated spaces. This location also has a printer, with the option to print documents for a couple bucks.

I really wanted to like Yes Cafe, I truly did. A 4.2 rating had me walking in like okay, maybe this…read moreis a cute neighborhood gem near Abbott Avenue. Lies. All lies. This is a solid two star situation and I am being generous because one of those stars is purely out of pity for the effort, not the execution. The math is not mathing here and the internet needs to know. Let's start with cleanliness because that alone already set the tone. The restroom was filthy. Like the kind of dirty where you stop and think wow this photo is about to live on the internet forever and rightfully so. I live by one rule when it comes to restaurants and it has never failed me. If the restroom is dirty, the kitchen is dirty. Period. There is no universe where a restaurant magically keeps a pristine kitchen while letting the bathroom look like that. Once you see it, your appetite is gone and you're mentally clocking out of the experience. Then came the wait. Almost thirty minutes. Thirty. Minutes. And before anyone says maybe they were slammed or making something special, let me stop you right there. They are not making gourmet food. They are not crafting artisanal anything. This is heat it up and send it out energy. And it shows. Everything tasted like hotel breakfast food that's been sitting under a heat lamp wondering what it did wrong in a past life. When food takes that long, you expect effort. What we got instead was microwave confidence. The only thing that deserves any credit is the burrito and even that is me being nice. I'll give it a four out of five because at least it tasted like someone tried. But the Yes Bowl breakfast thing whatever that was is a hard no. The avocado toast is also a no. A loud no. First of all, it was not toasted. At all. It was mushy bread topped with mushy avocado and zero texture. If you are going to call something avocado toast, the toast part is not optional. That is literally half the name. What made the whole thing even more bizarre was the way they were moving. The vibe was giving empire level importance. Like they were serving a Michelin tasting menu instead of lukewarm breakfast plates. The pacing, the seriousness, the attitude did not match the food whatsoever. It was honestly confusing to watch. And yes, I did say something when the food came out cold because that matters. Do not let cold food slide. What did they do? Put it in the microwave. Immediately obvious. The potatoes should have been on a grill with oil and heat. Instead they came back tasting reheated and sad. That is not fixing the problem, that is confirming it. Overall this was a waste of money and a waste of time, and the only reason I'm even writing this is because people deserve to know. I will not be going back. I do not recommend it. And if you find yourself here with cold food, just know they are not remaking anything, they are reheating it. Sometimes a bad review is not hate, it is public service. This one is absolutely that.

Located a couple of blocks off a major road (Washington Ave.), Las Olas Cafe felt like a hole-in-the wall neighborhood joint - a team of off-duty police officers were enjoying their dinner inside the restaurant, and families were eagerly lined up at the to-go window outside the restaurant. As I waited in line to order, I perused the menu, which included breakfast items, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. Even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me in line, each meal was made-to-order before the next order was taken. This meant that the staff prepared about half a dozen coffees, a couple of smoothies, and several meals before it was my turn to order. When I finally placed my order for a Cubano sandwich, I waited about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. My sandwich was served piping hot, and I eagerly took my food to go so I could enjoy it at the beach nearby. Despite the wait (about an hour from the time I arrived at the cafe despite the short line), my food was delicious. The sandwich was stuffed with crispy shredded pork and ham, and a generous amount of mustard, melted cheese, and pickles pulled it all together.
