We had no idea what to do or where to start and had already been turned down by a couple of other…read morecompanies, but Chris came by, even when he was warned that it might not be worthwhile and he took on the job without hesitation, did exactly what he said they would do, and helped us immensely. Got rid of a lot of stuff, made some money, and helped us take stuff to the dump later. Would recommend!

Protect your property and go with anyone but this company! We had Chris and his crew do our estate…read moresale and I can't warn you off enough. The first day of "set up" I left for an hour and noticed that night that quite a few things were missing- expensive items like watches, stable gear, and an expensive old golf bag. When I confronted Chris he said that he forgot to tell me he allows his people to take what they want and they pay him for them. Seriously? There was no record that he was paid by them- he then told me he would have the items returned- only half of them were- He refused to supply me with daily receipts or be accountable for what was sold each day. They are thieves- all of them- and they take advantage of people who need to vacate their homes. I was unable to find any reviews for them when I looked them up initially, but I would never have hired them had I known what I know now. The owner responded that he was sure I had the wrong guy- but another review on this business confirms the business address of 2220 Darla Way- so unless all of us on this page have it wrong, we are all commenting on CC Estate Sales & Liquidators.

I've been purchasing online auctions items from their estate, relocating, & downsizing events over…read morethe last few years. All the staff are wonderful to deal with when picking up any items I've been lucky to win (highest bidder). It's much like bidding on eBay.com. Occasionally another bidder outbids me by mere seconds after entering my bid & there's only seconds left, hence, not enough time for me to submit another bid. That's the thrill of the bidding game folks. Win some & lose some. :-) I also think they are a great service for our community members. If you wish to also sell your home after clearing out your estate items, Brad is also a licensed realtor. My husband & I are considering moving in 2026 after he retires. We plan on connecting with their professional services to sell our home after also have them set up & run an online estate auction for us. Moving is so darn expensive. Getting what we need once we get to our final retirement destination. ...Lifes2Short... Carol & Bruce

It started out fine. Luis was nice, friendly. We met with him twice and spoke with him on the phone…read more3 or 4 times. We asked, "Have you ever had a negative review?" Just from buyers he said. He looked through the 3 bedroom condo. There is an upfront fee of $5,000.00 for the work put into staging all the items and putting up the online auction. $1,000 of this fee is for removal of unsold items that will go to the trash or be donated. This fee can go up depending on what is left over (it did go up).We will receive an itemized list of the sold items, we will be able to take back any unsold item before donation (we were not given the opportunity to look at the unsold items, and they could not tell us where they were donated). Almost everything sold, except the items they didn't put online, like 2 desks. One of the lots they said didn't sell I have a screenshot of a bid on it. We took the time to group all the decor and vintage items together for the employees to curate and photograph. The photos that went into the auction were primarily of our groupings, no curating. We even contacted them after the auction went live to tell them of errors, 2 of 6 were updated. In one case they outright didn't check that an item was missing in a lot because we found it later. Sometimes were still in boxes with no label (1950s lead soldiers and mid-century tire ashtrays). We were told they had special nationwide buyers that looked to them for unique collectables. The items we provided would be researched, appropriately photographed and described. The rule of thumb is 80% of the money comes from 20% of the items. That only works if buyers can find the items. Search for Lamps, no items comes up, search for blanket nothing comes up. We were not told that on top of their 40% of sales they charged the buyers an additional 20%, the contract also states we pay the credit card fees. That's business. What is not business was the way our items were shown and what they chose to show. We bought back some items because bidding starts a $1.00 and a poorly researched painting was worth at least $800 (the description said Still Life, signed by artist). We ignored the poor reviews of Caring Transitions because the people were so nice. When we sent an email to Luis noting all of this, We received a reply that was perfunctory, sorry I'll talk to my staff.
