We're very familiar with the Carson City Trader Joes and we've yet to visit either of the 2 area Grocery Outlets. Gayle's Mom thought we should give this Smith's a try. We did, and for now, No. Our usual factors are selection, price, flow through the store (including shopping the perimeter) and check-out service. For the couple times we've been here, it's just OK and for now, not worth the drive. We all have our shopping quirks and right now our choice is the Carson Raley's.

Pharmacy: We had a horrendous experience when my significant other had an emergency appendectomy and we had the hospital send the meds here. We waited numerous days for pain meds. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I stop in now and then for a snack or drink, it is nice to have indoor and some outdoor seating. The liquor selection is better than I have seen at any other location too. There are single barrel picks from my favorite, Frey Ranch. I have also seen allocated tequila and whiskey at regular MSRP.

Call me an optimist. It seems Whole Foods somewhat listened, and has taken the aspect of 'variety' to heart. I like my items, (especially the eggs) but they ALL expire the next day 9/11 . . . like the previous reviewer had mentioned. So the earliest pick up time is at 8 PM and they expire. . . four hours later (sigh). It's a 'gamble'.
