    Bbq fries

Great food! Cant go wrong with any of their bbq. The interior had that fun bbq ambiance and lots of cute nick knacks. I got the fries with bbq.

Bacon sandwich/ BLT with one pound of Bacon.

Food was very good and served piping hot. The woman working was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. Pulled pork fries and the Bacon sandwich which has one pound of bacon on it.

    Brisket

The food was nowhere near what was expected. 80 percent of a pound of rib tips were dry, burnt, and unedible. What they served as brisket was shredded pot roast from the oven, no smoked flavor at all. The nachos with pulled pork were ok, but I guess chips from a bag is kinda hard to mess up. And the "catfish" I think not. Definitely will not eat there again. Everyone with all these good reviews got lucky and caught them on a good day.

Slab of ribs, pound of brisket, and order of 8 wings.

Food is great. Tried a couple of things with some friends. Wings, ribs, and brisket. All 3 were great. The owner is a cool guy and the restaurant is nice and clean.

    Too good for words

This meal was unreal!! The entire experience at Carson's was amazing, from the fresh food to the service. We meet Jeff Carson himself and he was so nice and genuinely cared about his customers. The wings were the freshest wings I ever had and I am a wing enthusiast!! This is a must try if you live in Bloomington.

Pulled pork sandwich with fries. Best pulled pork I've ever had.

The best BBQ pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. Next time I think I might try the chicken because it looks delicious. Definitely going back.

Outstanding pulled pork and he ain't stingy with the portions. Beans need no additional sauce or seasonings -- they are already delicious. Corn bread melts in one's mouth. Perfect pregame stop!

Split the Mama C's rib platter between two, perfect amount of food to get us both full

Seriously- the best barbecue I've ever had! I could live on this stuff! The cornbread and potato salad are so good as well.

The normal/old system of ordering at one register and paying at another was not used. You had to order and pay at the far end, which is away from where the big menus are. There was a small menu attached to the counter. There was no signage to show what the specials were, which was very confusing. I got 2 chicken parm specials, one without the marinara. They were both pretty good. I'm not sure what type of chicken they are using now, but it was still good. It did not have the diced chicken look one is normally used to. They seemed generous with the chicken. The restaurant was clean, and the food was good. The lemonade machine is behind the counter because their lemonade is the better kind. I would have given this 5 stars, but between the awkward ordering sitch and the lack of signage about the specials, I had to give them a ding. The saving grace was the guy behind the counter knew about them. Hopefully this place is a lot more consistent than the bad reviews would have you believe. The food was solid!

Each has a Little Italy and other neighborhoods where you can experience the food, traditions, and culture of different communities. That's probably one of my biggest complaints about Indianapolis, there just isn't anything. Then you find this little Italian market tucked away in a Bloomington strip mall. Being Sicilian and Italian, every time I head down to Lake Monroe to take the boat out, Little Italy Market has become a mandatory stop to fill the cooler. The Turkey and the Many Meats are my go-to sandwiches, and they never disappoint. Everything is fresh, the portions are huge, and these are easily some of the best deli sandwiches I've found anywhere in Indiana. I actually find myself craving them when I'm back home in Indy. If I lived in Bloomington, I'd definitely be a regular for the Italian grocery selection too. But for me, the sandwiches are the star of the show. The family running the place is always incredibly friendly, and they're more than happy to add or change anything on a sandwich to make it exactly how you want it. Little Italy Market is one of those locally owned places you hope sticks around forever. Great food, huge sandwiches, friendly people, and a little taste of the Italian neighborhood culture I miss. I'm literally writing this on a Friday morning waiting for noon to roll around so they can open before I head down to the lake. That probably says everything you need to know. Easy 9.3/10 If you're in Bloomington, this place is absolutely worth a stop.
