The definition of going above and beyond for their customers I had my car serviced here through insurance, and a week or two later there was a noise underneath my car so I took it back to Carstar and George told me someone had tried to steal the catalytic converter and he didn't have to cover the hardware to fix this issue but he sent me over to Z Performance and Javier fixed it for me. I was really satisfied with their service on my car. My car was T-boned on the driver's side. It was completely the other person's fault and their insurance covered everything, including arranging for my car to be fixed. Out of their list of auto shops, I picked Carstar because of the high ratings. I think I picked the right one! They gave me a realistic estimate of how long it would take them to repair my car along with update texts. My car was actually finished before the estimated time. I'm really happy with getting my car fixed here from a collision. They were very swift and turnaround time was really quick. My car was in shop for about a week. My schedule is very tight with work, and I come from Riverside to Corona at 5PM. They accommodated my late arrival at 5:40 even though they closed at 5:30. Horrible. I had to bring my car back multiple times. I got hit on the freeway and it took them over a month to fix my door and window. When I got the car back I was missing my antenna, the tint didn't match, the window STILL didn't work. And my battery died twice after leaving and I was told to "get a jump" . I'm posting my experience in hopes of preventing someone else from having the same one I had. I originally got a quote on 9/27/2019 the amount was 996.53, I came in on on 10/14/2019 and paid the full amount so they could order parts-I only needed to pay half but I did it to get it out of the way. I then brought my truck in on Wednesday to drop it off. At that point I was told they had to order an additional part and that I owed $65.13. This was before they received my truck and broke it down...they were already ordering additional parts- didn't call to tell me I would owe additional just made me aware when I dropped it off. The repair was only supposed to take a day as no paint job was needed. I got a call at 6:43pm the day I dropped it off telling me they had to order additional parts(this is okay, they had the truck at this point and had broken it down so I understand this happens) however I was told that a part I originally was quoted 432.00 on would now be 667.00- I was told the dealership went up in pricing, and they had no idea about this?! I'm sorry but there were so many opportunities they could have let me know, like when they ordered the parts and realized, a phone call would have done. But they waited until they had my truck and it was broken down, and there was nothing I could do about it. Had they pulled this before I would not have let them do the repairs, as this is just sketchy. Not to mention their quotes do not say they expire after a certain date, and regardless they quoted me on 9/27/2019 and I was told prices changed October 1st..so whatever I didn't want to argue, I paid the additional money. This is where the real problem is...I got my truck back and they put a deep deep huge scratch in my paint in my bumper! The bumper that had NO damage when I dropped it off, not only that when I reached out they made out like they had no idea. BUT 1. That is poor QC on their part and 2. Someone had an idea bc they tried to slap white touch-up paint on it to cover it up. I am attaching photos showing my paint was fine when I dropped it off, and the damage afterward as well as the quotes, I was given and signed off on and then the jump where they increased the bumper price. I refuse to take my truck back in as I don't trust them, they offered to sand down and paint it. Absolutely not after they returned it the way they did. I will have to pay out of pocket and will be taking it to the body shop up the road. *Update* Since the owner is a liar I will be contacting the BBB to make a formal complaint on the damage caused to my truck, I have attached a photo from them showing there was never a scratch on my paint. They don't have one after they did the repairs with no damage bc they are the ones that put it there and then tried to cover it up with touch up paint. They can't produce a photo of my truck repaired with no paint damage bc it doesn't exist. Joe confirmed this when I took it back up there, he acknowledged the scratch in the after photos they took. I am now including the picture I took the evening I picked up my car. I was told it would be ready at 5:30 but waited about 20 minutes, I live right up the road got home, looked at the bumper and saw it immediately. You will see the time and date. This owner is sketchy and crooked, and honestly they will continue to lose customers because all he can do is attack what customers they do get. read more

Brought my 2011 Chevrolet silver ado in to get the rear bumper repaired after it had been hit from the rear left corner the horrendous quality of work that they left my truck in left me disgusted the price tag to get the rear left panel fixed was an expensive estimate of 1600.00 dollars but was told it would be left as if not had every happened and in perfect condition when they were done with the work they ended up charging me slightly over 2200.00 dollars for a very small ding on the back corner the worst part is the quality of work was unbelievably horrible I can't believe these guys are a body shop, very expensive, poor quality in work, horrible service from the front receptionist, for the LOVE of God Please Do Not use this company to get anything repaired the ended up painting slightly over the bed liner which was very expensive for me to get installed and told me it would buff out after a car wash which is still here till this day. Some of the sensor that hook up to the bumper were never plugged back in when i called back to get another appointment to fix the changes they claimed they had to book me in 2 weeks in advance because they are too busy if your life depended on you being serviced by these hooligans you would probably end up dead way too overpriced for the poor quality in work and i genuinely feel sorry for whoever get serviced here read more
