There is a small store for snacks. Coffee and tea options in lobby with a nice relaxing sitting area with a large flat screen tv. The inside corridor provided a warm temperature compared to the outside cold. Hallways had clean modern carpet and decor. The room provided a couch, desk and king size bed. Two large windows and 60-65 inch flat screen on a swivel stand to view from living room or bedroom. Large open area with mini fridge, coffee maker, blow dryer and pump style body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Hot breakfast buffet offering eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, bread goods, oatmeal,, cereal and yogurts. With a large area to eat and catch the news. I thought this was a very comfortable, affordable and enjoyable stay. We will stay here whenever we come through Grenada.

The toilet appeared as though it had not been properly cleaned or updated since the hotel was built, with significant buildup around the rim. The floors and the overall state of the bathroom were similarly revolting. I have taken photos of these conditions and would be happy to provide them as evidence of the state of the room. It is ridiculous to expect a guest to pay full price for a room in this condition. Regardless of the location, guests deserve a sanitary environment, and this stay fell far below any reasonable standard. I can honestly say that I never intend to stay at this hotel again. You need to do better for your guests. I promise you the CEO or the FCO or the COO. Would never live in this type of condition. Never so why should we pay a monthly fee or weekly fee or daily fee to live in this type of condition? While there are making millions off the guess. I'm living in the fancy homes in mansions. They want us to live like this. Give the hotels a great 5 or fours and walk away. I don't say nothing with this. We need to do better this is ridiculous. This should not be. A condition of a hotel, will you have to leave your head? I use the bathroom or the ironing board or the iron. I would not recommend this hotel in this condition. Do better test, do better.

There's a bar in the center (sadly didn't get to enjoy it because I was here to take my MCAT). Everything was clean and it was very quiet. Your room has its own a/c unit which was perfect because I like it super cold and quick. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. And I liked the layout of the room. Plenty of places to sit/lounge. The desk was movable(on wheels) which was nice so it could go by the window to get work done. The view wasn't the best but I did like the fact that 1. I could see my car from my room since it was in the same side 2. It had shades as well as sheer shades as well so if you wanted to completely block out the sun you could. Or if you want the natural light with a little more privacy (like me) it suits either style. Also it's not far from eating places or Kroger's/Walmart/CVS/Walgreens which was nice and convenient. All in all, glad I chose to stay here. PS. If you wanna know how the breakfast is don't ask me. It was an extra 5.46 to add it to the stay and I didn't wanna chance it‍. But REALLY FOR THAT PRICE OF STAY WHY MY BREAKFAST AINT INCLUDED??

This is one of the nicer and more enjoyable Hilton properties I've been a guest at - and by far the…read morenicest hotel I've stayed at in the Oxford-Batesville area. First off - the location as it relates to the square and the campus cannot be beat. You walk out the front door and you're essentially on the square. We were there on a weekend and the parking was a little chaotic and left few if any spots - which was frustrating - but that is accurate of Oxford almost anywhere on a weekend (traffic, parking). The parking lot is safe and I felt fine leaving my vehicle there. Parking is $15/day. The staff is top notch. I was greeted by all staff and they were professional, friendly, and accommodating. You should feel like a "guest" at a hotel, and they accomplish that. The lobby is very welcoming and a nice place to hang out - whether you're people watching, drinking coffee, or working. Lots of tables, chairs, outlets, etc. They have a coffee shop/bistro downstairs, as well as a rooftop restaurant/bar upstairs. We patronized both and they were both good - especially by hotel standards. Our room was both "boutique'y" and modern, which I liked. All the room amenities you'd want and expect. I guess if I had to offer a downside for the room - they did not offer online/streaming tv, just cable, but that is getting pretty nit-picky and we weren't in our room that much to need it. The prices of this hotel (and essentially all in Oxford) fluctuate drastically depending on the day/weekend. On a high volume weekend I suspect this hotel would be incredibly expensive. All in all - I would most definitely stay here every time I was in Oxford (assuming I could afford it). Cheers.

Every team member ( front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, restaurant worker, etc...) that came within close proximity greeted me with a smile and a hello. Clean facility and clean well maintained room. The carpet boasted Archie and Eli's football jerseys. Great location that was steps away from the square. They have lots of breakfast and coffee options in the restaurant. The avocado toast was a good selection. There is a roof top bar/restaurant which I did not visit. Stay here if you are visiting Oxford. I know I will if my travels bring through here again.

Title: Avoid at All Costs - 14 Days of Filth and No Housekeeping…read more Staying at the Best Western New Albany, MS was an absolute nightmare. I'd rather camp in a parking lot than endure that again. No housekeeping for 14 days. Despite putting the service sign out daily, I was left to buy my own toilet paper, take out my own trash, and even vacuum my own room after cockroaches - because apparently, DIY housekeeping is part of the Best Western experience here. After escalating my concerns to the manager after 8 days of kindly requesting a clean towel and taking out my own trash, he graciously let me switch rooms (thankfully no rust stains this time) and gave me a $50 discount for that night, which didn't even cover the mattress cover I had to buy to hide the mystery stains on the mattress in the first room or the slippers required to keep my feet and socks from turning black on the carpet. Oh, and don't forget the brown, sediment-filled water that came out of the tap. I had to get bottled water just to brush my teeth. This isn't mentioning the broken fridge, construction noise, broken equipment in the gym and business center. Those are minor inconveniences. It adds to a wholistic nightmare. The cockroaches were a delightful bonus. If you're thinking of staying here, reconsider or bring your own toilet paper and vacuum. I could also save you the trouble and will happily lend you a tent.

The professionalism, kindness, and consideration at this hotel are as spot-on as their location for travelers in the crossroads. Plus, the pool is very clean and quaint. The most special part of this unique location is the glorious, massive crucifix, which is lit up and can be seen from the freeway. There is a magnificent sitting area, pristinely unkept, with plenty of benches, Bible verses, and the ability to enjoy a quiet corner at night. Disabled Veteran Files ADA Complaint Against Mississippi Hotel Over Service Dog Access…read more WINONA, MS (July 2025) - A family reunion turned sour for Disabled American Veteran and retired federal employee William F. McCasland, who alleges he was discriminated against by hotel staff at the Holiday Inn Express North in Winona, Mississippi, due to the presence of his fully trained service dog, Toby. McCasland, who traveled from Connecticut with his wife Karen and their service dog, described an "unwelcoming and distressing" encounter with hotel management on July 19th, after initially enjoying smooth check-in and communal dining experiences. Despite wearing veteran apparel and receiving gratitude from fellow guests, McCasland says hotel staff targeted him and told him he could not remain in the dining area with his service dog--a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which mandates public access for service animals in dining and other communal spaces. "I kindly explained the law," said McCasland. "But the hotel clerk insisted it was 'policy,' and asked me to leave. It was deeply unsettling. My service dog is trained to help me manage anxiety. The ordeal triggered the very symptoms he is meant to help me control." McCasland noted the inconsistency among staff: while the manager, identified only by a wall plaque as Mary Graydon, stated dogs were not allowed in dining areas, other clerks had previously not objected to his presence. After reaching out to IHG's corporate office that same day, he was told the matter would be handled by local hotel management--yet received no callback, resolution, or accommodation. "This wasn't about noise or disruption," McCasland added. "It was a failure to uphold federal law and provide reasonable accommodation. Families gather, stories are shared--and veterans like myself rely on the protections the ADA guarantees." He reports that his final day at the hotel brought only vague assurances: he could eat breakfast as long as "no one complained." But as McCasland points out, ADA guidelines explicitly state that fear of dogs or allergy concerns are not valid grounds for denying access to a service animal. Now pursuing legal action and having filed complaints with both the Department of Justice and ADA authorities, McCasland hopes sharing his story will raise awareness and drive accountability across the hospitality industry. "Service dog discrimination is real. I want others to know their rights--and I want businesses to respect them."
