Two were for fun and one for business…read more Even though they were small trips that didn't involve a cruise, they were very helpful with everything including the hotel, rental cars and even a list of kid friendly activities once we arrived at our destination. They even told me when it might be cheaper for me to book something on my own. I will not travel anywhere without first making a call to Cruise Planners. Hopefully, we can book a real cruise with them before long.

Don was very responsive and walked us through all of our questions regarding payment, excursions, insurance and more. He even recommended the class of stateroom and we could not have been happier! Our room was huge, and we had a 60 foot balcony on the back (aft) of the boat. We would drink coffee in the morning and wine in the evening overlooking the beautiful Caribbean water. This was to be our holiday of a lifetime. We had been recommended by a friend to Cruise Planners DePasquale Travel but from their name, we thought that they only did cruises. We decided to call anyway as part of our European trip to Europe included a river cruise and then a cruise in the Mediterranean from Italy. Well, it seems they do everything from flights, hotels and pretty much all we wanted. We had an idea of where we wanted to go but had no idea how to put it all together. This is where Don, the owner of the travel agency took over. Gee, that man is on the ball. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and despite the changes we made was always smiling and available for us. He also has some great insights and connections and made some recommendations we hadn't thought about and put together some packages where we saved quite a lot of money. I guess you just got to know how to navigate around this kind of thing and Don certainly knows how to do that. Most of the spots are long term so there isn't much in and out traffic. There are lots of families. Some spots are pretty small - some have trees and some have only rocks. Ours was a nice spot with lots of room - almost a double lot. Pam is very sweet and helped us a lot. It's hard to get into because they're almost always full. It's a good location and we appreciated being able to stay when we needed a place! They have a nice dog park - most people do clean up after their pets, but there are always a few who don't. I would definitely stay again.

What was taken can never be given back. A special planned surprised Anniversay/vowel renewel trip turned into a nightmare when we paid for an anniversary/vowel renewel upgrade to the El Dorado Royale Casitas on Riviera Maya. Three different agnecies became involved in this tour, which was never mentioned or documented. The third party agency wedding coordinator set the date a month early then wanted to charge and additional $200 to secure another date, which was already paid for in an all inclusive upgrade. Needless to say we went on a tour that was non-refundable at that point only to go hang out with all the other couples celebrating what we were supposed to be celebrating without a ceremony. Don't be fooled into spending over two thousand more dollars for what you could get all inclusive without; when it comes to dealing with this agent. Once they got your money, your on your own to watch the finger pointing when things go wrong! Thanks Vicki and John...for nothing!!!

My previous travel agent was excellent, but we were looking at an MSC cruise, and that agent did not handle MSC. Based on Emma Cruises' recommendation, I turned to Travel with Brigitte. The short form: these folks go the extra mile and then some. The booking of our desired cruise and the necessary pre-cruise accommodations could not have gone smoother, despite our doing some last-minute changes. The staff at Travel with Brigitte were on top of everything and delivered swiftly. But that's just the tip of the iceberg . . . Two months before sailing, I was diagnosed with liver cancer. In order to accommodate treatment, we had to cancel our cruise. The folks at Travel with Brigitte were not only considerate and concerned for my health, they walked me through the cancellation process and sought ways to reduce the last-minute pre-sailing penalties. Moreover, they've helped me with the necessary documentation to provide to the company handling my travel insurance claim. NOTE: this is all to help a client who cancelled out on them on the first cruise they handled for us. When I have recovered to travel, we will think of no other travel agent to work with than Travel with Brigitte. They are our permanent go-to for travel, now. They should be yours, as well. Their service is remarkable! They are good people.

They did reimburse me for the difference, which was good, but then zi discovered my birthdate had been inaccurately recorded. I then discovered my cabin was an inside atrium cabin, which I was unaware of and didn't want. Discovering an ocean view was only $209 more, I requested the change. They didn't respond for a day and a half, by which time the ocean views were gone. I moved to a regular inside cabin, but despite having paid more for an atrium cabin, downgrading did not result in a reduction in price. And despite having to personally call Cunard several times, all issues have to be resolved through the travel agency. I am so disappointed and wish I had just booked on my own as I usually do.
